We ran into Billy the Kid all the way down in Florida! He brought his S10 and Nova out to back to back races that weekend. There were people doing wheelies and others who just couldn't get traction, but Billy managed to have clean and FAST passes on both days! Awesome to see him travel so far from Ohio and perform so great.

I've followed src BTK and his brother man them two is super fast in their class. Hands down my favorite racers

15:40 billys front tire is off the ground as he is pulling the chute, viewed from the go pro of the guy hes racing as he loses control. Tin soldiers race cars chassis are no joke.

@@Sunshine-zi8zcif I remember correctly, tin soldiers straightened it after the crash. Probably added, adjusted or modified a significant portion of the chassis

The best part of watching SRC grow is they come from humble beginnings and the cars they've built are what many of us build in our garages. Of course, as their channels have grown and sponsors come on board, their cars get faster with higher quality parts. If Allison's dad Jeff sells Dart Vader, I hope Billy can add it to SRC's stable. And Billy went and hung out with Chief and Jackie some time ago. Chief and Billy are both OGs in their own way.

So the left lane loses a tire mid-track at low speed. Seems red-lighting likely saved that driver from going home with a smashed vehicle. I say he was lucky he DQ'd.

@@sykwookiee this is to you and the op...cannot tell you how happy I was to take my best friend/father to Milan dragway back in summer of 2015. Dad had his amigo scooter with full batteries, he was gone all day. I caught him in the press/photography box between the towers when they fired up twin jet engine cars. Everybody else ran. Dad sat right there on his scooter while they hit the afterburners, he did hold his ears. Those two jet cars left hard and dad was the only one sitting down there and he was laughing his tail off!
I'm not making this stuff up, it certainly happened. He died the next year. Dad was disabled due to an on the job injury 24 years prior.
@williamstamper442 ...I have been to a couple of tracks since I was disabled...unfortunately, as my condition worsens, I can't tolerate riding in my truck...even my mobility vehicle is not comfortable enough for a day at the track...I am sincerely glad to hear that your dad got to do what he loved before he passed...I can't complain about my 20s because I did absolutely any damn thing I wanted...but the human body has a tendency to get pissed at you if you treat it like an amusement park...be well, raise hell!

Billy started his channel with that s10 and Tommy's blue s10.. they still have both. After 1st round the guy pulling his sunglasses down in the pink t-shirt leaning against the maroon vette is the legendary UNCLE BOB!!! He's the one who keeps the Hoskinson boys and others hauling with his well built engines.
Billy and his entire family are salt of the earth type people. Glad to see him back in the winners circle with Tommy and alison on the camera!

SRC S10 is my all time fav followed by the falcon. The nova is definitely growing on me. I remember when he was first building that car he said “im building this car basically to never lose not just to compete “ he wasn’t lying 👍
