I'm so psyched that Pete and the shop got my Flip N' Slide Mouse Trap and they opened it up on this video. Glad they will have use for it in the shop. After I saw in one video they had mouse problems in the shop I knew I needed to send them this.
Yes it was the one that Shawn Woods had on one of his videos. He caught over 25 mice with it. This is not the one that he designed himself, but the company that makes his designed mousetrap the Dizzy Dunker made this one also. Mouse Trap Mondays is one of my favorite channels.

Oh so am I.
@@equaliser2265😅😅😅😅😅
Guy was cool to ask before making an offer in your shop.
Yea. I'd have wanted to look at them too.
He did the right thing. Always ask the owner first because it's his business. If you don't he could throw you out and ban you from his business. It's not only a courtesy but downright disrespectful to the store to try and do transactions in their store. If you want to do business then open your own store and not steal from an already operating store.
It was me. I’m the bearded guy. And I bought the whole box of Hot Wheels.

Pete is such a genuine guy, we need more people like him
A few months ago you made a video and mentioned how you quit smoking-- I quit cold turkey immediately after watching the episode and haven't touched a cigarette or any nicotine for 3 months now. Gotta give you some credit for the motivation, thank you!
Well done 👏
Want a cookie? Pathetic! My mamma didn't raise no quitter!
How did he quit?
Coin checker is priceless!
Yes, they are, but you should always weigh the coin to make sure that it is also in spec with the mint's standards.
You will want to wipe down the shiny part of the blade with rubbing alcohol and a soft, clean rag. Then put a very light coat of oil on it like a sewing machine oil or similar. Fingerprints will leave rust spots on the blade since it’s carbon steel if it’s real. It’s really expensive to have them repolished by a real toshigi but worth it if genuine and from a good swordsmith. You want to really avoid touching the blade directly if you can avoid it. The rust under the handle is fine. Do not try to remove the rust there. It will devalue the sword if it is an authentic nihonto. Lots of info online but hard to discern age and everything w/o an enthusiast’s help. If authentic, it would be best to have a shirasaya made for it. The lacquer coated sheaths tend to trap moisture and promote rust.
This is not Pawn Stars. Lol, Pete. That was great. Your channel is real versus that staged crap. Hopefully that sword has some value.
this channel is 1000x better then pawn stars
Exactly. There is no comparison. Real genuine reality is very interesting and captivating.
I watched the show and when the car played on the record, a portal opened up in my living room and demons came through into our world. Thanks for that.
i cant believe that was supposed to be telephone line
Wish your videos were longer and more frequent Peter! LOVE THEM
100% more content 😊
Don't complain Karen
Hey Peter, can't wait to hear about the sword yall are checking out! Always a pleasure to watch another one of your videos! God's Blessings on you and your Family!😊
Pete, I've been dealing in coins for the last 38 years. Over the last 6 months I have found at least 10 fake PCGS and NGC graded coins floating around the southern Wisconsin area.
That is sickening!
Love the content keep up the good honest work !

Congrats on 400K. I've probably been here since 40K

OMG !!!! I worked for Farm and Fleet years ago.
CH the new pawn stars without the cheesy BS lol
Pawn stars is the most 🏳️🌈 💩 ever !
just word of advice. when dealing with Katanas and other Japanese Swords always wear some cotton gloves or use a cloth when touching the blade. they are made from extremely high quality steel and can rust or corrode down the line if not cleaned within a shorter period of time after.
Love all the Carhartt hoodies. pretty much all I wear..lol
Gr8 video and content Pete..😍😮 That first guy with the sports cards and memorabilla had some pretty good cards..🤔🤗 I really think you're missing out by only going after graded cards.🙄😢 The vintage Katana is cool and hope that you get good news from your expert..😊 Take care guys..👍❤🔥👊
I'm sure ita a measured decision on petes behalf. Profits vs losses didnt add up
These videos are a kick! So addicting
Hello from Kenosha, Wisconsin! Watch your videos all the time, own a business that does professional Christmas lights in Chicago Suburbs. Some roofline lights on the shop would look good next season 😉

What... where is Mukwonago! It's a little over an hour from you!

Another way to test silver is by using an earth magnet. You tilt the silver and place the magnet on it. The magnet should slide down the silver slowly. Or one could attach a bunch of larger earth magnets onto the bottom half of a piece of wood. You then tilt the wood and slide the sliver down the other side. Once again, it should slide slowly.
hey from Atlanta!
My favorite part was when you went from talking about the mouse trap you got sent, and cut to the sequence ending in some glamour shots of your calico mousetrap.
I like the why your chilled about the guy asking once you’ve settled up and finished can I see the hot wheels.
I bought the whole box of Hot Wheels.

Pete….FYI on the swords for you and the seller. Whenever you handle the blade, try to use a cheesecloth or something because every time our fingers or hand touch the blade, the oils from our skin hurt it……long term damage to the blade the more you handle it that way
I have three record players so I decided to bring the worst of the three so you could buy it off of me😢😢😢😢
You drive a hard bargain but you got a deal
@zombielover
Not a "turn-table" just a pos "record player" of which he has "three!"
LMAO!!!
Hello from Seminole Oklahoma
Another great video
Thank you.
I like it when you put Otto on, the subtitles say- Scammer hello guys!
When doing a sound test on silver coins. I find the sound better heard when balancing the middle of the coin on a finger and hitting it with another coin or something.
I must say Otto really works! I always forget to hit the thumbs up
No its kinda stupid
Otto is awesome!!
It's dumb and annoying
Pete they have a neat tool called a “ Pocket pinger” ! You carry it around in your pocket! They cost $30 and I have found a couple fake coins/bullion rounds in my stack!
Yep came here to tell him about it and the app. ❤
Great tool for the price. I'm sure he already has a scale which could also be another tool he could use.
Sweet! Here EARLY FOR ONCE! :D ... Cheers!
Greetings Witaj przyjacielu From the Great Sioux Nation. I live on the smallest rez in South Dakota along the Big Sioux River. Im retired and a health issue has me pinned down at home for the winter. I must tell you Peter since finding your site a couple months ago Ive just fallen in love with your videos, for several reasons, I love animals Il tell you that much ( I have 4 black labs). You are such a genuine person Pete which Im sure you'll agree is essential to your business. Yes sir your videos have given me hours of enjoyment these past months and I want to thank you for that both you and your staff. Your honesty is a pleasure, you dont hem and haw, simply see what they go for and if it passes the test you buy, thats good to see. I see items that I would be interested in buying, how does one go about that Pete? I have a few pieces I know you would like too. For instance an authentic Wells Fargo sign from an old stagecoach and telegraph shop my Dad, brother and I tore down in the 70s its the diamond shaped sign for reference and is in great shape, I have those types of items but not really looking to sell more of a buyer. Do you sell silver by the 1, 10 and 100 ounce bars? Like I say your a people person Pete that is part the reason you are popular. Myself (Sociology/Psyc majors) and others would like to hear about you Pete, like were you born in America by your accent I would believe you were born in Poland? So that had me wondering was your moving to America a push or a pull? You know what I mean Pete? Did you want to leave Poland or a push? Or did you really want to come to America or a pull? Pete if you feel uncomfortable or feel its nobody's business I fully understand and hope your not offended by me asking, like I say its prolly the sociology has me curious as people and cultures always have me curious. So thank you again for your videos and I wish for you and the shop good things this year!! Ohan Mitakuyaoyasin (we are all related). This is how we end our prayers.
Keep us posted on that sword!
I love coins really cool educational video
I really want the mini figures at the start of the video!!!!!!
If Honey fits, she can ship! I Just adore her sweet face 🥰meow!
22:56 For an authetntic sword from Japan, it needs a torokusho registration. Swords are illegal in Japan with an exception of registered Japanese swords. In order to own a Japanese sword, you need this certificate so it can be registered to the government of Japan. Because these swords are made through traditional methods it is very expensive and can cost over $1,000. While a certificate does not invalidate the functunality of the sword, it is forbidden to bring it to Japan because it is not registered. Otherwise, functional non-torokusho swords can range from $200-$1k depending on the manufactor.
You need the registration for a sword to be worth something here (in the US)? What if you don't want to bring it to Japan.
@@detroitr no you don't need no registration for it to be worth something the value is who made it and Condition the name is under the handle carved in the metal prices range from $100 to millions
@tr Then you should save your money and buy a katana from a non-Japanese company for a fraction of the price with industrial steel. Understand what you get with what you paid for.
There was thousands made for the japs during ww2. But these were not traditional made. They are mainly made from rail track, and are nowhere near the value of passed down swords that were made traditional.
what are you babling about? real swords were used in ww2 as melee weapons and carried for good luck. thousands were surrendered after the war was over to american soldiers who brought them back home. Not many were worth money because they were mostly flawed.
Honey bunny is my favorite !
OK... first off I love the channel. Second, I live in Michigan and ice fishing sucks this year.
I have been eying that blue ice fishing outwear for a while. Price? It's no Sims or Orvis. Price?
i have one of the record trucks. they work good on a certain type of record sold in korea and japan

Ping test for coins works better of you balance it on one finger and strike it with something like a pencil
This should be the last resort for any test for a coin's metal content. Only used by experts and only if there is no other way to check.
@@daviddunn2104 From JMBullions site"Light striking as in the “Ping” test is acceptable and should not cause any damage" what do they know though? You dont use anything approaching the hardness of the coin itself and dont need to hit it hard. These are low grade common Morgans he is testing not some MS70 rare coin. Ping test is perfectly acceptable he could even buy a pocket pinger if he is worried.
@@daviddunn2104 these are low grade common Morgans not some rare MS70 coin. The ping test if done properly doesnt damage coins. Dropping it over and over on a wooden table is more likely to damages it
Hello to Ruby ,pete and the gang
Love to know the story on that sword
Peter- PLEASE do not handle the blade with your fingers. Wear a clean glove. If it is real, your finger oils can etch the blade damaging it. It was common for the Tsuba (guard) to be changed out by an officer. On a military issue sword, they would put an heirloom Tsuba on it at times. The sword was handled with gloves on then a bag of limestone powder was used to wipe the blade, if I remember right.
Please follow up with the sword. Im very interested!
Pete I really hope my post card comes up as the $100,000 winner. !!!!!! Lol. Look what I started . I'm curious about that sword now .
12:10 Your guess was the same as mine. The higher pitch ring (probably) means a harder metal. Is this before or after you bought them?
Peter can you do a video on all of the most expensive buys your done?
I like this.

I wish people would learn that ebay is not the be all end all for pricing. Especially now days with everyone selling things for pennies on the dollar or for little to no profit. I've been a buyer and seller for years and I hate when everyone thinks they know how to price things because of ebay.
Especially when they go off list prices instead of sold. Keep that kind of pricing on the web.
I use eBay as a guide. There is really nowhere else you can go to get a feeling of what something is worth. You would need a library to have a price guide for everything. eBay sells so many different items that it is a great resource for pricing.
They tore down an old arena here in Calgary Canada, named the Coral, but we were told that they couldn't sell the seats because they were painted with lead paint! So it was okay for us to sit in those seats up until they tore it down, but we couldn't buy them!? Lol
I think lead vapour is dangerous to breathe in if you where to do a bit of novice restoration you could do yourself some serious harm
@@WherEmEweeDyou could wear a respirator and wear gloves. Removing lead paint is done quite frequently. Just wear proper PPE or hire someone licensed to do that kind of work.
hey was looking at the samurai sword part do u have maby some photos of the writing or signatures on it i can maby help out if not needed.
Indeed he should have overlayed a picture of the markings for the internet sleuths to chime in
My old roommate collected WWII Nazi gear and Japanese Samurai gear. He was schooled and could tell just by the waves of the metal color from being forged if it was genuine or not. I forget the name but you can see on the blade how it changes its colors from tempering and I guess maybe smelting different metals together . It’s been 20 years but I always thought it was cool how his swords were so meticulously made and seeing them vs even a high quality fake! The blade was also held all together with 1 pin and if I could explain it try picking up a penny with a craftsman needle nose by the edge on the face and then try with a snap-on one and you can actually grab the microscopic lip edge on a coin !
Pete, I have a SIGMA, i wouldn't except anything not in the green. Just because your customers may come back. Sound test doesn't work. They can cover them in silver.

Do you know about the magnet test for silver coins?
Many homeowners in Japan find swords like that buried in the walls while doing repairs because they were made illegal to own after the Americans invaded so they were hidden, today if you find one you can take it to your local police station and apply for a license to possess them and they are recorded and studied by local university.
What is the app you use for seeing about bobble heads and that
Balance the coin on the tip of your finger with you palm up. Smack it with another coin and listen to it ring. The non-silver will have a clunk sound rather than a nice long DIIIIIIING
This ! Lol I was about to say the same & say PETE! THATS NOT HOW YOU PING TEST ! NOT EVEN CLOSE 😅
