Whoever they got sharpening the para 3s down in golden needs a raise. Love my para 3 lw. Over the years it’s broken in really well. The action is like butter and it locks up like a vault. It is their best lightweight model imo. The design is absolutely genius. Bd1n is not the greatest but it still manages to outperform my benchmade s30v.
I’m jonesing bad for the Para 3 Salt. I absolutely love the P3 platform and in a cool color like that? Gotta have it. Spyderco is making my wallet hurt for sure this year.

I love k294 and heard spyderco could experiment with it. Would love it if they made some manix 2 in it. I would buy several if they make it, didn't know if you heard anything about it. The pm3 options are my favorites, all of them

What would be the best version of a spyderco that won’t break the bank. I have a spyderco efficient and it’s not great at keeping an edge. I bought it before looking because of the price but I also got a paramilitary 2 with H2 steel yellow frn scales black hardware. It’s small but I haven’t had to sharpen it. But it’s small. So maybe the one with brown mycarta or the small all black version! I don’t use either if someone wants to trade a spyderco for 2 spyderco’s New to your channel because I saw new from spyderco in my feed. Please advise? I love spyderco, but one thing I wish sal would do is join the 21st century and update the pocket clip. I know there are great aftermarket clips, but why not do that in house, and perhaps provde 2 clips with the knife... what a revolutionary Idea! keep the standard spydie clip, as I'm sure some people love them, and then a deep carry clip for those that actually like to not have 1/4 of their knife peeking out the pocket - and I would say the little tab you set on the first blue para3 did NOT look good.
I’m pretty sure Sal spoke on this at one point, saying that he was going to change/improve the pocket clips but he realized there were a lot of jobs and families supported in the knife community by those businesses who started up by offering great aftermarket clips and he didn’t want to take that away from them simply by changing their pocket clips to something better when the current ones still work and support others.

And now I need to pay another 20% plus take my time to install it ? While my 40 dollar Chinese knives come with a nice pocket clip from the factory. Who do you think Sally should care more about . The customers or the aftermarket created by his obvious shortcomings in design and manufacturing ? Spydercos are becoming the Beanie Babies of knives.

It doesn't to me it looks like they grabbed something out of a junk drawer and threw it on. This is the exact same mistake Harley made selling a product at a premium price. Then the customer had to spend a bunch of more money on aftermarket parts to make it like it should have came from the factory. I'm a knife user not a collector or customizer. The lame pocket clip on my Police 4 is why I bought my brother a Benchmade for his birthday instead of a short change Sally knife.
Spyderco is the most advanced knife maker in the world blasting the glass ceiling with 15v, k390, etc etc with their proper heat treats!! So no funko pop here bub. Just real knives for real knerds.
After waiting 2 months to restock the Maxin2 in G10 S30V it arrived today this afternoon but I had to return it because that ball bearing cage lock is locked solid I tried using lubricants and still didn't work so tomorrow back it goes to the seller I'll get my refund and stay away from Spyderco I had already purchased Spyderco Endurance and Rock Jumpers and I wanted to upgrade . I'm going to stick to what I'm what I'm used to like the Omega springs from Kaiser and Button lock I just wanted to share that with you have a good remainder of the week🎉

I was a merchant marine officer and I carry a Spyderco Atlantic Salt. It is the best knife I have ever owned. Great knife for cutting 2" nylon lines.

I’m probably about to buy the Benchmade Freek in M4 and a Cru-Wear Para 3. May get a cheap LW for a blade for my current build.
