It’s crazy how good of timing this was for me. I always think that always I’ve changed so many times but I always come back to crafts. I have a business now thankfully can do this “for real” overall goal is to be a print shop. I love all the crafts you do I’m here for all of it be you! Sounds like your already doing it by for warning hey that’s why it’s this week this and that haha. I love it! Let’s goooo 2024!!
Thank you for this video. I am just starting to realize this about myself. I love to learn new things and try all the things. My craft room is such a hodgepodge of all the things I’ve tried over the years but, like you, this has carried over into my whole life. I decided I’m not ever going to be an expert at anything but I will know quite a bit about LOTS of things! I appreciate your perspective on this and what great advice. It feels good to know I’m not alone. Thank you!
I’m glad this was helpful! To be honest, I’m getting to the point where I realize that knowing a lot about a lot of different things as enabling me to connect the dots and introduce hacks to different crafts. For instance, using jigs of laser cutting made me realize how I could print and cut a full sheet of stickers using the cricut. Being multi passionate can be pretty awesome at times. ^_^

Cool video! This topic is really interesting, and I’ve never heard this term for the concept of being a generalist, or a jack of all trades. It is quite sad that our society doesn’t value it, as opposed to specialisations.
I agree! However, I think with today’s jobs and the shift in needing to wear many hats at work multipotentionalites are going to become more valuable.
