- The Beretta 92 (also Beretta 96 and Beretta 98) is a series of semi-automatic pistols designed and manufactured by Beretta of Italy. The Beretta 92 was designed in 1975, and production began in 1976. Many variants in several different calibers continue to be used to the present.
The United States military replaced the .45 ACP M1911A1 pistol in 1985 with the Beretta 92FS, designated as the "M9."

Big 3DGunner!
Beretta 92fs was the best pistol I ever spent money on. I carried a 1911 for a very long time. But with the uptick of mass shootings Nationwide I decided it was time to switch it up to something that had better overall accuracy with a larger capacity and at the very least equal reliability.
I mean are there better pistols out there? Sure. For the price range of under $1,000 are you going to get a better pistol out of the box nearly as accurate or reliable? Nope.
The 92fs is one of the best Pistols ever made
