- The Beretta 93R is a select-fire pistol, designed and manufactured by Italian firearms manufacturer Beretta in the 1970s for police and military use, that is derived from their semi-automatic Beretta 92.
The Beretta 93R was designed to be used by the Italian counter-terrorism forces but was also adopted by other police and military forces who required a concealable weapon with rapid fire capabilities.
A selector switch enables to alternate between a three round burst or single fire. The pistol is fitted with a vertical foregrip at the front end of the trigger guard to provide better stability when firing. A folding steel buttstock can be attached at the heel of the grip.

The Beretta 93R ("R"=Raffica) was produced on order of the Italian Security Commission to equip personnel engaged in the fight against terrorism, derived from the Beretta 92 or mod. M9 in the US Army version reduced in size and intended for use for special assignments.
My compliments!
Yours is a masterfully crafted weapon encyclopedia!
My educational guess was M93r as it’s an m9 and shoots 3 rounds 😅
So the three saw teeth cycles 3 rounds burst then resets- genius!
My eyes can't figure out how it drops the hammer during the burst.
Colt poket 1908 25 acp...please ó FN 19010
Too many moving parts, difficult to fabricate.
All meant to reduce the rate of fire in full auto and hence make it accurate enough to be useful.
Not many people here in the red flag section.
Classy machine pistol in pure form
Please make video on machine pistol
So if you ground off those little serrations on the trigger linkage would it be true full auto?
The real 93R’s have semi, 3rd burst, and full auto on a separate selector above the safety selector.
But the educational question is what mechanism makes it a Burst
Is this q guess or 100% accurate
Can you do this on the Beretta 92x Performance ???
