Hey everybody, I listen to it a few times and then i recognize Anindo' tabla. I am pretty sure. the way he keep using the tik and the way he plays the bass drum plus the sound of its waves..so much its style....GREAT
Whoever made those comments is talking nonsense. I, a disciple of Ma Annapurna deviji, have the greatest respect for the Imdadi Gharana and Khan Saheb has rendered the raaga beautifully. Making comparative statements and offensive statements especially like "Avoid playing this raga" is certainly not acceptable.

I am a great fan of the Imdadkhani gharana. I believe, alap is the soul of any raga. Could the Rasik jana upload alap as well, not just the gat. Thanks for the gat.
I gather this from the commercially released CD from Navras. How about some unreleased stuff? I'll post Marwa from Montreal 1978 with Avatar Singh on tabla. That is not released commercially.
The tabla sounds like is of Zakir Hussain. The way he jijacks the time he wants to show off, you will not find it in anybody. Also the types of risks he took playing what he played, nobody else would take.
