Thanks for the help. Curious…when your terminals were loose, what’s as the problem? I have the same problem with that red light and no beeps. I just followed your video to the T and when I went to turn it on I got nothing. Everything is connected. What did you use to clean the corrosion? I’m using something called QD Contact Cleaner from Home Depot. Not sure if that’s what ruined it or not. Any help would be appreciated
A common cause of computer problems is micro-corrosion (a super thin layer of corrosion) between contacts. The mere act of reseating all boards and connectors will "scrape" enough corrosion off so that good connection is restored. (until it corrodes again) I have had several "bad" computers easily fixed by this simple procedure that anyone can do. If it doesn't work, then it requires a deeper look, but it should be the first thing tried.... in this video you should have reseated ALL the connectors... not just the ones required to get the shell open. (You got lucky)
Good job on the fix. Do you remember how bottom of of battery magnet switch looked like ? My is acting up and at times board won’t turn on. I was wondering if it’s something I could fix. Thanks
This is great!!!!
Thank You!!!!
I have. small crack on the battery housing , will electric tape work for that?
Do you know the BMS model/type and where I can buy a new one?
Great video. If you use a hairdryer on the deck pad it should peel back easier

I need to replace one of my magnetic switches. Do you know the part number or info for those?

Dear God! You've got a cordless driver - why not use it! You won't be young forever!! (Apart from that, thanks for the video!)
Ha! It's only because I've learned the hard way how easy it is to strip out the screw head. 50 is the new 30!
