    3:43 Wrong!!!!
with all due respect to lady Lesley Hazleton, Aisha didn't lead an army against Ali. There was a battle between her army and Ali's army, but there is much more to the story than that. After Othman, the 3rd khalif was killed, it was expected to find his killers so that justice can be done. But Ali, the successor to Othman couldn't do that because he didn't know everyone who was involved in the killing. A few months went by and some people, led by Talha and Zoubayr, met with Aisha and convinced her to gather an army to be prepared to find the killers and send them to justice. Ali didn't like that and feared that this would cause destabilizing the state. So he went with an army to AlBasra, where Aisha was. Then he sent messengers to Aisha who came back with good news saying that her intentions were to fix the problem and not create problems. So he told his army that there is no need to stay and asked them to go back with him. But a few hypocrites, led by Abdullah ibn Saba'e, known also as son of the black woman, who were probably involved in the killing of Othman, spread rumors that Ali "made peace with Aisha" in order to kill men of his own army. So they gathered an army of more than 2000 people and started a battle. So the rest of Ali's army followed them and there was then the battle between Ali's army and Aisha's army. When Aisha heard of that, she went on her camel(therefore "the battle of the camel") to calm them and stop the battle. That's when they wanted to kill her but could only kill her camel.
Talha and Zoubayr died during that battle.
And Aisha never started a war and never even participated in it.
After that, Ali and Aisha were devastated by what happened. They remained of course in very good terms, and Ali continued to call her Mother.
The story is longer, but I tried to make it as short as possible.

900 years later in England marriage was still conducted at 9 years . This is recorded by William Shakespeare in his play Romeo and Juliet . Where Juliets mother Lady Capulet tells her off being 12 years old and not married . While her peers got married at 9 years old and their children were now receiving education . Aisha RA was ordained to marry the prophet Muhammad SAW. It was not from worldly desire. It came from Allah SWT and the only reason was that she was to be the first human to memorise the Qur'an. She came to be one of the best female leaders, the best business woman, the best teacher. She was an amazing woman of the time and we love her.

She's been called quick-witted, tart-tongued, daring, headstrong, assertive-take your pick. Just about everywhere you look in the historical accounts of early Islam, there's Aisha, front and center-even leading an army ten-thousand strong into battle. In this short video, Lesley Hazleton, a writer and psychologist, gives us a glimpse into the extraordinary life of a woman whose brilliance, courage, and leadership continue to inspire us today.

Aisha RA was according to the History of Umul Mumin.
She, was very smart and the youngest and Aisha RA did help many women of Muslim she show us we have to learn as much as we can like you said she was educated by writing everything from whatever she saw or hear so we can take advantage the freedom that we women get from the Islam and your right every woman would love to meet with Aisha RA. Our beloved prophet Mohamed SCW said that is Aisha RA when he was asked Oh the Massenger of Allah who do you love the most of the people who you know including your family He said if we are talking about the women is Aisha RA and if we can talking about the men Her Father imagine that.

أُمُنّا عائشة رضي الله عنها وارضها
She was our mother; along with other wives of prophet Mohammed may be peace be upon him
She was the source; not only to haddith; but she taught Muslims how men should treat their wives; by narrating the deeds of prophet Mohammad to her and his other wives; such as playing with his wives mainly Aysha since she was the youngest among our mothers, assisting with house deeds, etc...
It was a story of tolerance, forgiveness, gentleness, compassion, etc...
I advise you to read more about her, also read from other resources
On the other hand, she didn't lead any army against Ali رضي الله عنه وارضاه
She went their seeking peace between muslims, and for your knowledge it was Ali who defended her when Khawarj may be damned by ALLAH dared to attack her.

Can you please shed more light on this? I asked my religion teacher before about her only find more questions!!! knowing she got married after the (Second year of Hijra) and aged at 6 years old was quite odd for me!
The age mentioned in Al-bukhari is her own Hadith (Meaning no guilt of changing the words of a prophet and the word "teen" from fourteen, sixteen & nineteen could have been easily omitted or there was no need to say it for being implied? )
also there was no apparent impact of her age enough to question the legitimacy of the hadith since it was included for Academic purposes only (Narrow slightness towards how it will be misused later)
They understood that it was by God decree (Only viable to the prophet & no one else), like how they could not remarry after his death!
A clue on the form of her sister"Asmaa" documented life & death also places her marriage at nineteen!!!
another clue was her participation in Khandaq after being denied in Uhud conquest where the age was set at >15 years old!!!
(estimated at 21 years at time of battle)

Asma died in 73 A.H. at the age of one hundred years. She was ten years older than her sister Aisha.” [7]
This would make Asma 28 years of age in 1 A.H., the year of the Hijra, thus making Aisha 18 years old in 1 A.H. So Aisha would be 19 years old at the time of the consummation of her marriage, and 14 or 15 years old at the time of her nikah(wedding). It would place her year of birth at four or five years before the Call.

Not only that but Aaisha (may Allah be pleased with her) was also known for her scholarly interests and awesome memory and intellect. She was proficient in both reading and writing (something rare amongst Arabs both male and female of those times) and her skill and knowledge in various subjects such as poetry and medicine have been highly praised. So has been her extremely keen memory when it comes to narrations on the sayings and actions of the Prophet (peace be upon him). Elderly and wise sahabas used to often seek her advice and counsel. People from far and wide would come to gain knowledge from her..she became a university in her own right....

Muhammad was just a product of his time. And his teachings, ethics, and virtues are not timeless.

For what i know.. the hadith about her being 9 is not completely authenticated, and by calculating her age based on the information of her and her sister we conclude she was around 19.. i can only hope people stop saying she was 9 this spreads very wrong info about our prophet for both muslims and non muslims.

    Interesting,
but you have some wrong informations about the battle of the camel, she didn't fight Ali radia Allahu anhu. She went to stop the fighting only. She was one of the most righteous and scholar women ,she memorized more than 1200 hadith .
You need to look into the authentic and genuine Islamic books not the Shia one .
