I have both. I love my GR86 wouldn't trade it for the world, the power and comfort is so much better. But the rawness of the 1st gen BRZ feels amazing and the steering is also better.

Kevin, I love my FRS. I bought this car brand new in 2014 and it was a 2013 that had been on the Toyota lot for over a year. I love driving it to this day. 45k ish miles on it and its been super reliable. Can't wait to see more content from you.

From an aesthetics perspective, I prefer the FRS. I was kind of digging the GR86 when it was first announced (functional brake ducting, etc.) but when it got to the back of the car, BOOM. Camry. I just can't understand how a designer could think those taillights flow with the lines of the car.

Great video! Can't say I'm a fan of the FRS since I have no experience with it. It looks good enough but just going off of photos and such I love the look of my GR86 much more than the FRS. Sounds cheesy but I'd have to say I like all the mods that I've done so far since they all lead to my ultimate goal of making the car "mine". Like you though I really do love my AWE Touring. I just can't say that my neighbors agree 🤣 As for the merch drop coming soon, well you know me I'm waiting on the shirts with an actual GR86 illustration for a design! @@Shinigami_1320 con is the aluminium has potential to straight snap in an accident while the steel knuckles would deform and bend potentially saving the driver from what could be a very ugly accident and fender damage
