Yes we fished for a good ID on champion trash.
We are a serious speedrunning guild. We are not going to leave our 1 run for the month up to RNG. If there is a method that allows us to eliminate some of that per run RNG of course we will do it. Scouting for a good ID is the best way for all the speedrun guilds to be on the most even and fair playing field as possible. Top guilds leaving a run up to RNG is just silly. (No it didn't take us days it took us about 2 hours)
Don't mind stupid newcomers to speedrunning when they never heared of "RNG-manip". This is totally normal in speedrunning communities :)
But why did you say "Wow another 4 slayers, we're so lucky" at 23:15 instead of this message?

Yep, it's true. A friend and I started playing Classic together, I'm a mage, he's a druid. We hit 60 on the same day, started raiding like 3 months ago. He's already 6/8 T2 with multiple BiS pieces because no loot competition, meanwhile I run around with random leftovers and 1 single BiS piece (MQG). Although, quite frankly my gear isn't bad either, just not nearly as good as I want it to be. It's not enough to spec Fire yet.
What? You want the same healing items that all other healers want.
Sure, you get your T2 set fast, but now with AQ40 out, that's not really relevant anymore.
There's 1 item in there (Wasphide Gloves) which is basically a druid item, everything else is contested with all other healers.
If only you guys had a few more warriors.

If you line yourself up right (far enough into C'thun hitbox) and jump + press whirlwind then you can hit him with whirlwind in weakened phase (normally you cannot hit with whirlwind in phase 2)

Most likely Parrot which is a combat text replacement addon. I highly recommend it. You have to spend a few minutes setting it up though, the defaults aren't great.
Whats the reasoning melee using Dense Dynamite on Visc instead of a sapper
most speed run guilds pop sappers during sartura to kill them fast as possible so sapper CD wont be up
sappers are expensive and overkill for the visc blobs when you have like 30+ people using them at once

I saw a pet near the warriors in phase 1. Can Cthun target a pet with eye beam causing it to chain to players ?
Nope pets can't get targeted or chain the beam.

The font is Pepsi. It isn't normally available with the addon, you have to import it.

Why do you barely use charge ?
There’s no real point in charging anything in aq. most likely you’re already in combat by the time you’re even in range to charge and he’s so world buffed that he would basically just be wasting an entire rage bar just to swap stances and charge for no reason.

Warriors are insanely broken in Classic, if you wanna compete you gotta stack em.
@@TetsuVods so are Mages... I'm pretty sure mages are hands down the best spec for Naxx as well
Mason Hileman Unfortunately Warriors are unrivaled for best dps in every phase of classic. Sure mages with properly rolled ignites can compete with and surpass warriors in certain situations but equally geared warriors will beat them 90% of the time.
This is now being watched by unoriginal guilds who will just copy this shit and take pride thinking they know the shit.

takes a whole month to prepare for a SpeedRun, writes 34:47min O:) my hate for the warr meta will never stop! RNG fishing is ok, the trash rng is rly annoying though! again! its part of the game. GJ on the #1 though :)
Meta will be always part of the game as people love min maxing. Like in tbc you will see hunter and lock meta it's upto you to be part of it or not
not rly the point :) using script 2h to fish perfect "rng" is not meta , is cheating, its not banable ofc but still, is def not part of the game :) And point is, if u boast bout how fast u do speed clears here with ur setup, u cant swap to other meta in tbc and say ,well, its the meta :) u play a char and u speed clear with the same char till end of TBC ,oh but it wont be the same since in TBC fury-tanking is laughable and u cant even go through a simple heroic . But if we talking only bout Classic, sure, stack 20 warrs , use the broken few skills and items , get the 3432 buffs in a day , prepare the 500g for the run , fish 2h for the rng and say u did it in 34min O:) , not like APES r much better, kinda hard game if ur raid consists of 30+ R14s ;) On the other hand, they do compete for this W1st vs plenty guilds which do the exact same so, I hate them all hahahha :)
If it's not bannable, it's not cheating. If every speedrun guild does it, then it's also not cheating as everyone is on the even playground.

@@chrissmith833 I mean that's a nice sentiment and all, but this isn't a fantasy world in which everyone just tries to be nice and decent. Expecting nobody else to do it would be naive in the extreme.
I literally can't comprehend how people can be upset about this. People literally spend hours going around the world collecting world buffs and consumables and preparing but somehow it's too far that they would spend a couple hours to reduce the RNG of their speedrun? Literally every speedrun game involves stuff like this. So asinine
