Gonna set a few things straight here since people keep commenting the same thing over and over.
the 17 minute molten core was done by
APEs is not a speedrun guild and has no records. They are a PvP guild mainly.
The run was done on private servers so we consider all our private server records that we set to be essentially irrelevant with classic now released.
The 17min run was done with BWL + ZG gear.
can you share weak auras used on this video ?
and the Eye dropped off Rag and they dont even care... ballin'

@@Ashthedon112 Not really, only for buffs and applying the faerie fire to bosses(boomkin applies it better than feral), spell crit just bonus
Rémy Boivin then why isn’t he feral leader of the pack for 5% crit on melee(who do better dps than casters at this point)? Boomkin is there for motw, better application of faerie fire(as they have spell hit items), and having an actual mana pool for dispel fights.

I need the addon that shows your buffs and buff count that u have to the left on your screen. If it's a weak aura, can you say the name of it? Or post the link to it?
Those four Ret Paladins, and Boomkin you have really carried the group.

I noticed that most of the warriors in your raid are humans and has about 8% hit from gear.
Why 8% and not just 6%?
And why are you guys using Dal’rend? Are they better than viskag + brutalityblade?
Is Dal’rend the best you can get before BWL releases? (not counting r14)
yes, the blue Dal'rend set is BIS of course.
They have so many warriors... not all are going to have vis/brut right away, and duel swords is the way to go for for human wars pve. You need more hit for duel wield. Not positive on hit raiting but I know 6% is low for pve specially as duel wield.. I thought 13% is hit capped as duel wield pve. even considering human sword specialization 6% would be way to low.
@@crabalockerfishwife5660 You don't want hit pass 6% (or 9% without weapon skill), heroic strike queuing means it's not worth taking hit or attack power or crit.

Running Dal'rends as I haven't gotten any other weapon drops yet from raids.
The reason I ran 8% hit is that rage generation is not currently good enough to hold 100% HS uptime and running 6% feels like shit and leads to having a lot of dry spells with zero rage. Running more hit feels better overall and gives more consistent DPS on trash throughout the raid. The gains that you get from replacing hit items are not good enough to offset the hit loss.

How did you manage to not get knockbacked as melee at rag? Can you avoid it at max meleerange? Nice run btw :) !

Boomkin are valuable only in speedruns

@@KartonArmadon Feral has a CD on faerie fire which is the most important thing a druid brings.

Why are the Warlocks using CoE instead CoW? Isn't like 1 Warlock with those Kind of worldbuffs doing more damage than 2 mages combined?
Mages and Warlocks do similar damage, more worth to give the 3 mages CoE.

How do you have warchiefs blessing as alliance? Are you able to get it if you're in org?
They wall jumped with a few locks to ogrimmar and summoned the whole raid to an unreachable area and got mindcontrolled by hordes they somehow made a deal with. While being mind controlled as the buff lands you get it. Meanwhile Windsor's frenzy, an alliance only world buff is still unobtainable by horde.
KaiserStroganoff winsors fury only exists in brd.

How'd you get Warchiefs blessing?
Get a horde priest or engineer to mind control you inside org when rend head buff goes out.
We were doing this back in the day, but not 25 mins lol best we got was 45 mins in our guild.
P.S. you had way better pathing ty for the tricks.

its just cuz bosses die in 1 sec, dont do that in you every day raids

Think recklessness negates knock back. Been a while since I've played though

The Apes run people are mention was done on private servers, this was done on Blizzard servers.

@@dreamismelul I was standing behind the mobs in the first example lol. I always instantly adjust when it is safe to stand behind a mob. There are many situations where it is not safe to be constantly readjusting behind mobs as the pull ranges are very large compared to what we are used to on private servers. I have a very safe playstyle as a single step to the side can result in many deaths with asspulls in speedruns.

@matt vanbeekveld dude that wasn't on the legit blizzard made wow, just some private server that is badly scripted with irrelevant armor numbers and resistances. and linking an asmongold reacts video just shows you how ridiculously dumb you are and probably thats the most you know about MC speedruns. if apes did 17 min legit, then they can do that on the live classic too (?) i guess, and then you can claim, but until that the 25 min is pretty much the world record :*
