I think aiming for more damage is better, because at the end of the day, not getting hit is a must to complete missions on time
Agreed, save until later game when you have much more materials until upgrading equipment
@@ryankirkpatrick3771 The only exception I'd add to that is if the armor helps boost your damage like armor that gives Rush, Attack Boost, etc.
I agree. I got to Diablos Urgent Mission in 12 by upgrading only weapon power and always having very low armor. I farmed the Anjanath very hard, because I had a very strong water weapon and it is a very weak monster, so I got the armor with lvl.3 fire damage very easily, beating Legiana easily, because I had enough damage output to have a sure victory nomatter the time I spend evading. I was one shot some times, but if you just play good enough, you can evade her easily.
@@Drewtendo I love a good bit of focus, but it definitely feels the nerd of having extra levels to go through
The thing here is, even if you manage to keep up with the defence, you still dont sant to get hit because it takes a lot of time , so there is no point in prioritizing defence over attack, just lean how to fight each monster and you are good to go
I missed the "INFINITE parts" part
It was when he said to use SnS or LBG to farm safely by mitigating chances for the monster to hit you with either distance LBG or being able to evade if you play patiently and don’t greed damage with SnS
Just play LS and dont get Hit ^^
It's calles click Bait for a reason
Same. Just vid of him getting shit on whole time
Legiana I found easy, especially with a poison weapon like the pukei pukei sword and shield. It's attacks are super telegraphed and easy to dodge. Not taking damage isn't the hard part, the hard part is the damage walls you hit. it gets to a point where even if you play perfectly, you can't kill a monster in time
yeah that's the problem with ailments weapon, it lack of damage
There are players using para and poison in purple tier monsters. You say damage but really is knowing weak spots and strategy.
@@tommyakis that's true, but you didn't consider player that didn't know that stuff and idk why most players didn't know that
That's why you use element weapons
@theadmiral4157 Even with optimal elemental weapons, a lot of the time, you just need to grind to get strong enough to take down the later monsters
Tips!
I am currently at six star monsters.
1. If you have access to lots of great mining notes! Don't overlook The first weapon that can be upgraded Ore! Is there great weapons for early to mid game! Yes elemental weapons will be better for end game! But they take longer to farm parts! My steel knife is currently grade six, Where my elemental weapons are only about grade four! My high level ore weapon now makes it a lot easier too firm monster parts!
2. If you're out hunting and You don't want to use a health potion or paintball, And you're out of health. If you find a monster you want to fight. Click on it but don't begin the fight! You can minimize the app but just don't close it. An hour later, you'll be at full health!
Thank you for Tip #2, it's so underrated and it basically gives us a free monster before we wait out our HP, kinda like a consolation prize.
I use greatsword all day everyday, elements are still needed because it's not a chance to apply, but increased damage on every hit, but knowing monster timings has made it far and away the fastest kill times I've found for high lvl monsters just because I can easily and quickly toss out hits over 1k damage, and hit 2k+ true charges at grade 5. Also jyuratodas legs are a must for charge weapons, focus saves your life and damage output when you can fit more in smaller windows. And the legiana chest has 2 divine protections, makes a great pair with the lumu belt
This is the way
This is the way
This is the way
What great sword
The real key in playing any MH game is learning the monster movements early. You can just try 2-3 times just staring and dodging it. See what stances it takes every time they turn red, learn which attacks they usually do when you're near, mid range and far from it.
Once you master them you can casually plan how to attack it depends on your weapon preference.
yeah, since even if u fail , u can try again, its worth it
A nice little strategy I found for Anjanath seems to work pretty consistently:
Lock On to its right leg (your left), and beat it down until it breaks, since Anjanath has pretty poor range for its sides. The break topples it, allowing for you to Lock On at its head, making an easy part break there, too. And, if able to, us an SP art when or just before breaking the head, so that you can attack through its retaliating attack from the part break. If you have trouble targeting the leg at the start, a side roll or two at the start should make it easier to target.
(Oddly enough, I get hit pretty often if I start a fight while aiming for the opposite leg. Could be how Anjanath tends to lean from its left side to do its biting attacks.)
Had the water bowgun and shooting him in the face works well too lol
I do the same but go for the tail break second. After it breaks it will fall for a bit. Lock onto the head and used special attack and possibly break 3 parts
biggest tip is don't rush the urgent quests. it just spawns more higher star monsters, making it harder to farm your gear up. I hear most people pause at Rathian until their gear is up to spec,. then again at Rathalos (5 star and 6 star breakpoints)
I keep reading that but I don't really agree. I'm at diablos and I'm trying to get to Rathalos and 6*s.
Yeah I will not be able to hunt 6*s right away BUT by increasing the star you increase the average on your map, and I need more 4*s and above, I keep getting stuff below that and I've just hit a wall where I don't get enough lv4 mats.
Without grinding higher, you can't get material to progress though. I forced it thru Diablo with lvl 3 kulu bow with some luck. Lmao. Need higher lvl to farm material for sure.
Yes exactly there is two stops you must stop :
At 4* monsters to build grade 5 5/5 elemental weapon as long it takes
Then at 6* (very long here, be patient) to build grade 7 5/5 and armor set to grade 6 1/5 in order to have such as fire skills 5 or water 5
Finally, cant rush the game enjoy the daily quests that give the most and if event too ..
Then late game, at 8* monsters, and there is no reason to go higher they dont give higher rarity than 6 and they only give 10 zenny more so worthless for the current state of the update of the game ..
I disagree because most of the gear needed is higher ranks. Learn timing, this is gonna be the most important part.
higher monster? i have grade 4 sword and shield but i can still beat 6 stars monsters under 10 seconds and still got good loot. the key? craft each the element and raise em all.
Ajanath bow is simply one of the most fun weapon in MHnow for me, for this game I only have an issue with the resources and I lived in rural area, Ive to travelled several miles to get to closest one or two large nodes and its stopping me from upgrading my gears which mean held my progression a lot. ahh i wish they can adjust the rural area resources..
Never use potion after you get downed is the biggest suggestion i can give, use the potion before you get down and if the dps you had on the monster until now is enough to justify it.
First being the choice in Stories 2 and now the first pick for NOW, Legiana's really hogging the limelight from Odogaron. Suppose that's fitting given, via retrospect, they're the first display of an apex monster turf war in World.
Umm...Legiana and Odo didn't even have a turf war before Iceborne.
Hence ‘via retrospect’, in reference to how the animation was introduced in master rank but the monster interaction enables the turf war to appear in low/high rank, before the myriad other apex monsters(eg Tigrex, Brachydios) are unlocked.
The restricting time limit and the insane drop rates for rare materials are killing this game for me. Once you get to HR30 and around chapter 10 this game just isn't fun anymore.
fr fr brooo, even the rarity 3 item its so RNG especially when you break quite lots of part of the monster
Also when cutting tails most of the time it doesn't give you the tail material lmao
Killing a 5 or 6 star monster and breaking two parts shouldn't give 6 different grey materials
I'm rank 25 at what point does Anjanath spawn?
I haven't encountered that problem at all, the parts I need seem to drop for me frequently enough to keep the game engaging and my progression pretty painless
The grind in this game is insane like holy hell, luckily I beat the main story but I can't even touch purple star monsters yet at all
Same but I got lucky and found a random guy on a mall parking lot hr84. He was flying through everything there and I kept joining his hunts lol
The grind on this game is easy compared to games like Orna
Man the game is only a year old just enjoy it why is everyone in such a rush to max out smh
TLDR: Don't rush. If you do, you'll be frustrated.
- Very early, Focus on raw for easy generic kills, but at 5~6* you'll need to stop, take your time and farm all elements for the weapon you use. 5* lvl 5 pure raw weapons barely keep up even with the earliest 6* monsters.
- I don't know the math for sure, but i'm quite convinced that for damage calculations, if the monster is weak to the element you're using, the raw and elemental numbers simply add up. Equip Destroyer with any diablos part you can fit on your set.
- Use a optimal set for your weapon and play style instead of pure damage. Quality of life skills increase your dps more than damage skills.
if the damage calculation is similar to other monster hunter games then element damage will likely do a fixed amount. In some monster hunter games the elemental damage is not altered my hit location or motion values. it's one of the reasons faster weapons like the SNS and DS were always pretty good for elemental damage in earlier games while raw damage can be adjusted by motion values and hit location. Normally raw has a much higher number to help counteract this to make it a bit easier but with most weapons its usually one or the other. through my experience in other games though there are a few weapons where its not 100% clear whether you should use raw or element however, such as with the long sword. I am unsure if these damage calculations however apply to monster hunter now but it seems they give more emphasis on elements and it appears the elements stat for a given weapon are a bit higher than they are in most other monster hunter games.
@@raventhorX the calculations seems different in NOW to be more "simple" as the bowguns have all their ammo in the element of the weapon. I compared the paolumu LBG (best pure raw lbg) and the anjanath LBG (fire lbg) at different levels and, for example, when a monster is weak and the sum of the raw and elemental damage total is 600, the damage on the head hit is 200. The raw weapon with 600 raw hits 200 on the head of the same monster. The math behind it worked this way at various power levels and it looks like the raw and elemental numbers add up before calculating damage on a said monster part. This also worked in the same way for SS at the early game comparing barroth SS (pure raw) and G. jagras SS (water). I hope someone find this out soon.
As HR 44 Longsword player with grade 7 last dance, my advice is to get a ranged weapon either bow or bowgun. It helps you a lot in conserving your potion by almost 2x. Bowgun might be easier and safer to use as you dont need full control of the gryo, but bows are great cos its a cheaper investment and the armor set you use for bows can be used for melee weapons as well
I'm HR 43 LS user with Last Dance 6 and am two primescales off from grade 7, I don't think you need bows if you don't want them. They're really strong and pierce and rapid are amazing shot types, but you can do anything with just melee and not have to use a ton of potions. I did 70+ hunts tonight on 10 potions.
@@chasebootzIm at the same progress and I can completly agree even if Im Not that crazy and Do so many hunts
@@chasebootz 70+? wtf bro, u spoofing xD
@@Y4ngCP I'm on a college campus. I can just do whatever and go pretty much as far as I want and still have hunts available
@@chasebootzbruh. I'm lucky if I can get 10 a day.
from the beginning, I've been ignore killing the small monsters, but then I hit a wall and that is the lack of hides and claw. After that, I've been farming them to extinction.
I built bow, got a bunch of "Focus". Game has been easy since. I've been capped on potions for a while now. I'm HR40 atm. Lumu divine blessing is indeed an insane life saver if you do get hit.
I also use focus build but with greatsword. And it's really fun spamming charge and skill breaking parts instantly
Im on 6* monsters now. Biggest resource save for me was not upgrading armpr, and instead focusing on boosting my bows.
Went in with 190 defence for the urgent legiana and just stayed there until i had all the patterns down. Had rank 4 pukei bow for most of the progression, and then focused on the other elements. Pukei set gives a decent amount of poison attack+ so by focusing on those i saved a ton of zenny and bones until i needed to progress further.
The HP potions and first aid meds are a "fixed percentage" which is why it's 50 of 100. The "fixed percentage" is half your HP total. So it will ALWAY scale to your max HP. 🤜🤛
i only use 2 potions per hour. Evade extender keeps my health safe. so instead of rathian gloves i take kadachi gloves(evade extender). kadachi chest (evade extender). kulu coil(evade extender). kulu helmet for lock on and rahtian legs for health boost 2. the hardest wall in the game imo is money. at 5 stars one upgrade costs about 1000 zeni. so if u keep your health as long as you can to kill as many monsters as you can, you progress the fastest way.
I’ve found girros hammer actually pretty decent. It helped me get over legiana. The animations aren’t too slow and if you keep hitting the head you’ll get a stun plus a paralysis so you can pour damage on then. Just keep dodging 😂
Hammers r underrated
@@Jay-cd3js 100%
Girros and Diablos are only hammer to use, you don't build hammers for elements outside of paralysis IMHO. You're a crowd controling, part obliterating machine that don't need no element.
@@natebardwelli dunno, I use a fire hammer and that thing hits like a truck to fire-weak monsters.
@@handtomouth4690 well weaknesses to an element are an entirely different conversation. Gear bonuses and elemental damage don't all apply during combat if they aren't weak, but statuses do. And for hammer, crowd control is all. If I can stun faster, break more parts, or in Girros case add yet another layer of it...that's where hammer specializes (which is beautiful because in MH, you get all of that with more damage!)
I can't even get walked by Legiana because I am still stuck on Paolumu. The floaty kushala wannabe who floats out of SnS range, slams me out of the air if I back hop any attack, places a tornado in my way if I try to close distance and overall eats my entire timer even with a grade 5 SnS.
Pro tip cotton: if you want to show a chart on a mobile screen and have it be readable don't smash it in between a picture of a great sword and a Rathalos. It is not possible to read that.
I have been using the toby armor at the start, evade extender is nice.
I gave up the Greatsword (temporarily) during the Paolumu quest and decided to make a bow. I then realized that I had a SHITLOAD of Kulu parts. I pretty much went from low level 3 gear to a level 5 weapon. It made hunting sooooooooooo easy. I'm currently farming up to just save monster part right now basically
My wailing walls, until now, have been 5* Lumu and the Diablos. For Lumu, I simply had to farm Anjas for their weapon, which made Lumu and Legia a walk in the park, while for the Diablos, I stopped until I got lvl 4 4/4 Barroth SnS. the problem with those two wasn't that they killed me, as they are all quite easy to dodge, but that they often use time-wasting attacks, so you simply need to stop and upgrade to hit harder, albeit less often
Bow is easiest and most consistent if you are okay with using gyro controls. Defense almost means nothing late game as you pretty much get 1-2 hit killed. If you don't die, the timer will run out because you lost dps from the hit stagger. Basically the end game meta at the moment is elemental glass cannon and learn to dodge/counter the enemy attack patterns. Having potions is more about extending your play session by giving you additional chances (they entice you to spend on potion via sunken cost fallacy, imagine you took a 15 minute walk to a monster you really want to kill and died first try) and not actually winning you a fight against specific monster. (talking about if you are stretching your dps limit to beat a monster)
Pukei Pukei GS has allowed me to casually walk my way up to the top of 7 Star hunts. If I get a poison status to go off the amount of DOT some monsters take is insane. Pair that with Tobi armor for Artful Dodge and I rarely get hit. Some days I can't even collect my first aid meds because I'm full.
Don't sleep on the hammer. I mained sword and shield for all of low rank and it was pretty good, but I decided to make the diablos hammer on a whim and it is almost as safe as the SnS, has big damage, and KO potential for big combos. I am bonk main in normal MH and I am ashamed of myself for waiting so long to bonk in MH Now.
I'm bonking when I need the damage but I can't find monster to grind for my hammer
@@yoswirawangirros is a good generalist one
But also don't sleep on elemental hammer. My anja hammer is currently my strongest hammer.
Girros paralyze sword has been a great help to me. I struggled with Legiana and Diablos until I build up that sword. I wasted time building up a fire bow to beat Legiana. The grinding is no joke.
This. Once it procs it gives you, like, five full seconds of free asswhoopin time.
This has been the easiest sword for me to farm. Just luckily I get the drops I need from Girros that this is my strongest and the paralyze is def great on top of it all.
@@BlackWaltzNo3must be nice...haven't gotten a single primescale yet :(
Since the Diablos Event was active I use the Diablos Bow and never run out of time again since than.
For the Legiana Quest I used the Pukei Pukei Greatsword killed Legiana in the first try.
I know that many people say that Elemental Weapons are better than Raw Weapons, but I really don't feel that. I unlocked the 6* Quests a few days ago and upgraded my Diablos Bow to 5/5. I can kill every single monster on the map in time, no matter if it's a 6* Great Jagras or 6* Rathalos, even if my Defensive is 100 points or more less than recommended. If you are good at aiming for weakspots you will love the Bow like me do. I rarely get hit by an attack since I started playing Bow. As I played Greatsword I had the 5 First aids used in less than 2 hunts. You have so much more time to react to an attack with a ranged weapon that's incredible. So craft the Diablos Bow as soon as you have unlocked it and shreed the monsters on the map.
At the moment I play with:
Rathian Helmet
Rathalos Mail (it was Rathian before)
Paolomu Arms
Paolomu Waist
Rathian Legs
Getting Healthboost and Divine Blessing to rank 3 is insane strong and 1 Level of weakness exploit leads to a lot of crits with Bow, if you use the full screen function, cuz you can aim much better with full screen function as on semi screen function
Not in the topic of the video, but do yall see swax and charge blade coming to this game and how do you think they will go about implementing the weapon switch capabilities of these weapons
Have decided to get a better device and it pretty much solidified the permanent grind in MH Now. Will keep in mind of these tips once I reach 5 star numbers.
i just finished urgent for diablos, it takes me a week+ with grade 4 kulu ls and a perfect play.
i can see how most player will find this infuriating, but at the end of the day this is a mobile game so you can take it slowly and just enjoy the journey.
i've play since soft launch and haven't even meet rathalos.
Every single video about MHN: "you need to have a bunch of elemental weapons as they tend do the most damage"
Me, an intelectual: "PARALYSIS GREATSWORD GOES BRRRR"
I wanted to build and master GS but... i opted for the bow for one main reason, HP is so precious I protect it jealously.
You can break as many part as the monster allow. If you click on information when your about to battle. ( the “i” icon ) it’ll tell you what parts you can break. For example “Diablo” shows you can break “back” “left horn” “right horn” and “tail”. So if your good enough, you can break 4. The best I’ve gotten so far is 3. And that’s only recently too that I’ve been able to break up to 3 parts haha. Currently level 59. But level don’t mean anything ahahha. It’s all about your gears.
I just used barroth sword and shield throughout the entire story (apart from diablo where i had to grind for legiana's light bowgun). Sword and shield lets you easily dodge while dishing out high damage 10/10 recommend
this may sound like a nitpick but sword and shield does have animation locks, however they are still much shorter than most other weapons and thus more forgiving when you need to dodge. I have tried to dodge many times during certain abilities and wasn't able to due to animation lock.
RIP cotton's suggestion of using the character editor to allow fighting on commute. Today they added a new update that gives you network error [6-4] instead of rewards if the fight ended with the monster outside your green circle
I hate how getting materials is so fucked, but I love this game
I spent my break at work walking around the mall for 20 min
Healing is faster the more max hp you have. But the % required to start a fight stays the same. Chip damage is less noticeable with more hp
I have played it for a long time in the psp to get rise and I never used the LS and this game just made me love it.
for me using sns Lumu was difficult because of farming Anja with G.Jag sns but after that it was getting Legiana webbing for a weapon for Diablos
I’m personally leveling up barroth arms and waist for guard. I’ll probably drop anja chest for barroth soon to get off guard. I currently have 2 ranks of guard and most attacks now let me guard and then go right into the round slash then shield combo. It’s very good!! And then I’ll also hopefully have guard 3 by the time lance gets added!
I actually beat the Legania with decent armor still under the required but with the Anjanath sword. I beat it at the 0 second mark so I got lucky
I shouldn't had craft Legiana's chest piece... getting wing membrane is so hard
I really wish I knew more people in my area that played so we can hunt together. Thanks for the amazing video though guys
ive been treating my 6 star urgent quests as a fun challenge no-hit run with my 5 4/5 Kulu LS, if i play perfectly i win, if i dont oh well, i dont use potions i just wait for passive regen while i do schoolwork
I paused after the Rathian urgent quest and just built up my gear. Doing this I didn’t have a problem going to the harder monsters. I’ve killed over 1100 large monsters and I’ve only ran out of daily meds once
I use diablos bow with attack boost 3 partbreaker 1 for the dps type skills. I always get a part break even in 6* hunts
I had just made the Diablos Bow today finally lol but I was thinking about going into a focus set with Attack up, I haven't fought Rathalos yet to look at all my armor and skill options yet. How's the damage with attack boost 3?
@@jonathanchronister5210u can’t make the diablo bow without fighting a rathalos tf
havent tried that but diablos bow with level 3 focus (pukei helm, rathalos mail, jyura legs) is working pretty well for me. other 2 armor pieces i just got divine blessing from legiana chest and lumu arms
@@jonathanchronister5210 the bow special absolutely destroys monsters with a good hit the attacks them selves are pretty high damage numbers per arrow
@@finzfan0723 Diablo is the urgent before Rathalos. Rath is the end game Monster for the time being
I’m surprised you didn’t put Bow on this list. I switched to it for this specific reason. Especially with piercing shots. I am at such a safe distance, I rarely get hit. And IMO, armor level isn’t as important as leveling it up to get a secondary skill.
high speed exploit, infinite parts (he meant playing the game as it was intended but let's call it an exploit) 🤦♂you really worked that title, gotta get those clicks
4:29 it is not 1hp/30s
it is 1%hp. so if you have more hp you regenerate more
glad i wasnt the only one to hit the legiana wall, would get so close to beating it if i fought it perfectly but timer would run out and getting upgrade materials for my sns was an rng battle
Cotton really doesn't like dodging 😂😂
I had more trouble with the Poalumu before the Legiana, and I used the same equipment for both.
Answer to all problems = Bone gun lance.
Didnt even notice Legiana.
All you need to farm is bones. Then daily quests for weapon parts. Easiest and most OP weapon in the game, by far.
question, should we just ignore elemental attack? and like focus on health boost, divine blessing and burst?
or aiming for elemental attack is always better but simply harder and not really worth farming for it?
I believe only fire can hit lvl 5 elemental atk but you should be using it if possible. Lvl 4 to 5 is like 150 flat elemental dmg so it’s way too good to miss out on. But diving blessing and health boost is ok for comfort builds until you get better at fights and such
normal monster hunter i only use great sword. but in mhnow i use sword and shield cause a lot more room for error and health is more valuable
I just did 70+ hunts in one night ranging between 3 and 6 star monsters while only using 10 potions, I think honestly the biggest fault is the user not being good enough at any specific monster. I did diablos tonight, legiana, rathalos, rathian, and everything you can think of and only used 10 potions total, 3 of them weren't even because I died, but because I didn't want to wait ~7 minutes to heal to 30% to fight again. I'm also a longsword user, so I'm not abusing range or short cooldowns, I'm just playing carefully and timing my Iai slashes. All this to say, anyone can fight any amount of monsters without any potions at all, it just requires a bit of skill.
RAW/affinity is the way to go up to 6* monsters. Used Kulu LS through first story playthru (in addition to Anjanath Fire sword). Much easier to upgrade to one raw to 5 5/5 vs 2-3 elemental weapons. You can save the resources for late game elemental weapons or spend it on armor. I have to disagree with most of this video
This is so true. I tried to rush but ended up home after 10 minutes leaving home.
but i might change to mr beast sword bc it is hard to dodge bc if animation so he isnt lying. all that information is needed for all player. keep up the good work 😊
why would you suggest the kulu headpiece when the rathian arms also give lock on? you only need 1 point of lockon to get the skill and getting more points doesn't do anything. idk if the kulu headpiece as another skill thats important that you can unlock later though but wouldn't it be better to swap out the kulu headpiece once you get the rathian arms?
Maybe he's talking for early to mid game
But kulu headpiece gives off more defense when upgraded compared to some high end headpiece tbh
@@theadmiral4157 they don't actually. In every game that features the kulu gear it's considered a lower tier armor and gives less overall armor compared to higher tier armor like the rathian armor set. To add to this, if the wiki is correct about the stats for armor. Every armor piece currently in the game caps out at the same armor value meaning once fully upgraded there will be no variation of armor stat between pieces and only the skills at that point will matter. This can of course change later if this information is indeed accurate. Outside of that the only difference when it comes to armor outside of skills really is when you unlock the armor and what grade it starts at. As grade 10 seems to be the highest grade, later armors start off at a higher grade and need to be graded up less. I believe this information as accurate however as I have been upgrading lots of my armor and grade 2 armor will give the same armor value as a grade 1 armor that has been upgraded to grade 2.
@@theadmiral4157 also in the case of early game then yes the kulu headpiece is quite valuable, though in the video he never really specified if he meant this suggestions for early or late game making the suggestion a bit confusing. Also there is a misconception of the lock on skill. While it is still valuable you can't just hack away at the monster and still break the part you've locked onto. All the lock on does is adjust the target point on the monster making it easier to position yourself to hit the breakable parts. If the monster is turned away from you you will not break its head if you are locked on and wracking its tail. You might cut its tail off however. So still be careful with your attacks and positioning when using the lock on skill.
That speed tip is very helpful!! On public transportation of course! Stay safe everyone!
The best way to beat this game is just to play bow.
Bow’s dragonpiercer plus rising tide let’s you easily do enough damage, and with how you basically never gets hit unless you’re seriously not looking at the monster.
I wish potions were able to be bought with zenny. The way its set up now it stupid. Same thing with the gems.
I am 3 def below 5* diabolos and he oneshots me. Most of the time like 7 secconds after the start.
*MOTIVATING*
my issue is that the rare parts i need to upgrade or overgrade my weapons nearly never drop. in the off chance I find a 4* kulu to get a 4* material from them, they only drop a single one about 10% of the time
I feel I get better parts for faster clear times (pure speculation). Not certain, but if that's true, would be interesting to compare faster times quality vs lots of part breaks quantity.
I'm currently at lv 3 devine blessing and lv 2 guard, i can tank with sns for whole day without spending any potion.
Beat Legina with 4* weapon and 230ish def. If you've got skills, then the only aspect gating your progression is the location and scarcity of farming nodes/monster spawn.
The only problem I have with this game is, like Pokémon Go, you don’t get anything of value unless you live in the city. I’m constantly screwed over from not having materials like ores that rarely spawn where I live, not to mention parts of the city that I’m frequently in, don’t have hardly any spawns or deposits.
So y’all recommend light bow for long term? Can’t decide on what weapon to main
Definitely for 6* onwards, Rathalos fight is also significant easier with a Thunder L.Bowgun, but any of the elements are great; especially when playing cooperatively
Legi helm and chest. Rathian arms. Palo coil and lulu legs.
Divine 5- 2 burst 2 critical eye lock on
I built Legianas Bow for Diablos Quest and it was the easiest kill ever. Since then i use Diablos Bow for simply anything. Potion use dropped by like 95 percent.
needed to kill a rathian to get the urgent diablos hunt, however my internet cut out mid-fight so i lost and i need to find another rathian.
and btw rathian set is very good. what i did is i plan what i will craft before i actually craft it mostly for armor and cant u get 220 heath when u have rathian set?
This guy really made this video 5 times longer than it needed to be.
That's what they do.. 1 of many reasons I don't watch them anymore
Kut Ku hammer with full affinity is awesome 👍
I get that stupid "are you driving" while I'm sitting at my desk at work. So, they could really work on getting the GPS stable, that would greatly help, since my GPS doesn't jump around in any other application, or at least nowhere near as bad as MHN
and i can relate to the start when sponge bob said “I NEED IT”
I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't have any big gathering nodes .. what a shame
OK. I've been looking for those Rising tide numbers for a while. Where did you find them? Great info.
For me, I have been focused on mastering great sword as that's what I play in normal MH. I use a single weapon. the Barroth great sword.
I use Kule helm, Legiana mail, Paoluma waist and gloves, and rathian legs. That gives me lock on, crit eye, Health 2 and divine blessing 5.
This allows me to shoulder charge through the monster attacks to my TCS while taking 80% less damage 50% of the time. I beat legiana my second try with at least 20 seconds left on the clock. Grade 4 weapon and under defense by some amount. I wish I remembered, but it didn't at the time seem to be a hard fight at all. Just another monster unlock.
i play with the bone gunlance since i got it and it deals so much more damage than anything else. i just dont understand how other weapons are viable. 6 star monster are very easy to kill but when i use my charged blade or something else, every 4 star mob is a challenge.
One week , rc 42 here , sword and shield its the key , made all elemenst s&s , anjanaht legiana guirros and jyuradatus parts that give me att elements + , I can farm most of 1purple star monsters with 5gr swords and shields with mid diff
Not gonna lie, it was painful watching him take hits that would've been easily dodged or blocked...
My biggest complain and why i already left is spening days farming 4* and 5* monsters and never getting anoything above teir 2 items, most of the time getting nothing but teir 1 items.
That's unfortunate, considering how the healing work right now there's no point playing the riskier weapons like gs, ls and hammer.
Tried to play the great sword at the start but you take useless hits and the frame window between attacks don't really let you charge up for free, balance need some heavy tweak.
can understand the healing problem
but watching the replay of your fight
that problem will cause you more problem for sure
i hope they add herb for craftable potion
and thats add more value to grass/plant gathering spot
Took me 1 week and a half to get pass legiana, was very satisfied after thou
Legi was a cake walk, freakin Diablos has been a 2 week WALL . To the point where I'm not getting any parts to build the weapons i need AT ALL. So im just stuck. Heck i had an easy time with Pinky in the event, this Diablos? Nope.
I feel dumb for not realizing how strong Rising Tide is. Really annoying how good Lock On is for melee. Like playing without it is really irritating, I wonder if at some point they might just give the skill to everyone because right now it feels almost necesary for part breaks and head damage.
Good tip on not doing it while driving. I suck while driving and use so many pots.
The edit appearance map load trick has been fixed in the latest update today 😔
If you get hit, not only does your Special Meter deplete, but you're not hitting the monster back.. so I can't AFFORD to take damage! I need that DPS!
the main thing for me is the position and potions bc of the way that i dodge but im doing pretty good on potions but there definitely a limit for how much i use in an urgent quest so after using 1 potion i look at the health and time i have left and see if i can beat it or not, if i cant i js quit the battle and try again later
If I get hit at all, I'm not beating the time limit, so I stopped worrying about defense and only use armor for skills.
Legiana wasn't my "wall" i had way more problems with Diablos :P
What sword and shield gives you paralysis?
