Hi thanks for recipe I have made your beard oil recipe and my son loved it now I am going to try your bed I am going to try with the little bit glitter to see how does it look thank you again for sharing your recipe
Well I learnt a few things again. Never knew about coffee butter. Love Jojoba knowing its so rich in Vitamin E. Texture looks great, had to giggle about the glitter, what a cute idea. 🥰🥰 Mr S&C such a good sport, yeah takes a while to get glitter out of hair.
@@MrsSoapAndClay Taking one for the team, now thats what I call a Real man 🤣🤣 Reminds me of an accidental glitter project activiity accident my girls had with their Dad back in the day. He had glitter in his hair and moustache for yonks and even got stuck inside his helmet 😜😜🤪🤪
Hello 👋 Mrs. My goodness I have so super missed you. I'm still here. I've been on quite an adventure. The fantastic News is, I'm no longer living At that horrible complex with the disaster of a bathroom. I'm At a much better area in a way better part of town and... Unfortunately I broke my Pinky baby toe and have had to move twice, once here, in a studio unit and then 2 weeks later into our current much larger unit and I'm really REALLY close to some amazing stuff to do. Moved, unpacked. Recover from the whole process and many, many doctor's appointment... I've been watching in the distance. Just didn't have time for anything. Heck, sadly, not even for my nails. I've still got so much to do and I'm going to work on being here more often. - because well, I miss the soapy things family... 💜🤗
Have you ever used lanolin in your beard balms? My brother in law asked me to make him some similar to something he bought at a farmer’s market last year.
I haven’t, but many Sudsers have experimented with it. It’s similar to the skin’s sebum, apparently, so there’s a benefit. I’d use it as a secondary “oil” as it is pretty soft in consistency.
At the same percentage you would use for a lotion? I would say so. Something that is right next to the nose should probably be used in smaller amounts so it’s not too much for the end user.
Oh good to know what you're using for the beard's. Hubbster doesn't have much, his needs to be very short and mostly around the jaw and chin. He's fussy about it and when I get My soap making goodness and supplies here I'll, hopefully 🤞 fingers crossed - be able to start mixing up some.. because mixing up soap is super awesome sauce thingy to do. This was great to see and Mr Soap is such a good sport. Maybe on his zoom meeting he'll start a trend 📉📈😅...
Um yeah… I learned the hard way that my recipe isn’t hot-weather friendly. 😂 I used some 99% isopropyl alcohol to clean up the outside of the containers. They’re fine in my house though. So… I’m not sure I’ll be taking them next weekend to the event to sell. It was kind of a disaster. I did manage to sell a couple though. 😂 I wrapped them tightly in baggies.
Wow, may I make a suggestion to everyone watching this video…. never heat your beard balm and melted down in the microwave or over direct heat. Your face and body will hate it in the long run. Cook over steam. You’ll thank me later.
Interesting. What do you believe happens to fatty acids when they are directly heated? Because I know what the science says, so if you have vetted information that suggests ANY change in composition in a fast heat, I would love to see the studies.
I’m back! Voice has returned from concert madness, I’m not talking about the Eras tour I promise. 😂
This is an area I’m stoked to learn about! Can’t wait for all of these!
Tomorrow’s winner has a wealth of beard care knowledge!!

If you don’t have time for your nails, that’s when I KNOW it’s a wild time. Take care of you. ❤️

@@MrsSoapAndClay thank you! I will do a small batch test. Was worried because it seems so sticky.
Hi! Is it over powering to use the same oils and fragrances for beard oil and beard balm recipe? Thanks

I’m glad you’re at a new place; fingers crossed you get your supplies soon!
Can you please tell me where you got your scale and post a link?

Which emulsifying wax did you use?
Hey! The one I used is cetearyl + Poly 60, but BTMS, etc will also work.
Sounds like emulsifying wax nf....bcz the INCI ( International Name Cosmetic Ingredients ) are the 2 names she just listed
Nice balm
Loooove the sparklies!! 🤩 p.s. Ohhhh just saw he had trouble removing it yikes!
Shoulda done it before the Eras concert. Opportunity missed.

Oof warm weather and melty bits can be a pain. Fall is just around the corner!
Lol poor Mr Soap & Clay
I’m so lucky he’s such a good sport. 🤣

Was this an "apology" video? 😂
For the glitter?!?! 🤣
@@MrsSoapAndClay I'd be expecting one too if I was him 😂
Ha! For him, this is not the first time he’s been covered in glitter. Living in a house with a bunch of females, he’s come to expect it. 🤪
@@MrsSoapAndClay it comes with the territory then 🤣
