That was my wife’s favorite song. On the way home from her funeral I was driving her car and I reached up and turned on the CD to listen to music and this came on causing me to pull over for a few minutes. It was like she was telling me she was still with me. I listen to it at least once every two weeks and remember our good times. My beloved MD I miss you.
I would die to lick that your assets, and ass but we know each other and your derek ivie or michael keighron and I walked with my eyes wide opened. And you didn't know I love getting something special with French toast on hair after shampooing and how it's not my thing but how it's highlights or hair dye that's my dye called Loreal or Garnier Fructis every day in past life or I doubt though, Queen of Sheba I was though but actually I shampoo everyday or almost!
When my oldest sister was sick with cancer, she insisted that we watch the movie over and over when I would come to take care of her. Her husband had just passed away 18 months before her and it was their favorite movie. When she died at the age of 49 we played Somewhere In Time theme music at her funeral. When I hear this beautiful music it doesn't make me sad. Instead it brings back the sweet memories of watching the movie with her.
My wife and I watched this beautiful movie together, so heart wrenching couldn't talk just held her hand and kissed it often until the movie ended. My beautiful wife went to Heaven in December 2020. She was 76 and I'm 67. How I truly wish that like in the movie I could travel back in time 💔 We're from Chicago and one of our most memorable trips was driving to Copper Harbor Michigan. Now this movie and wonderful music is so much more meaningful and heart stopping. I know that men aren't supposed to cry but the pain anguish and suffering of losing half of my soul (the better half) is so unbearable that I'm not ashamed to admit that there hasn't been a day that I haven't cried for my beautiful wife. She died in December leaving me alone to die every single day since 💔
Don Roach You're in good company and I'm happy to say within seconds my eyes had filled up. Great film and AMAZING soundtrack. Take care in these strange isolated times .👍
I am coming back to this heart felt movie, in 2024.... My emotions are that of tears and happiness... The wonder of finding each other, the love they shared, was just so lovely.... ❤❤... 🌹🌹🌹...
This film changed my life, I have seen it over 25 times and still feels the same every time. The soundtrack is phenomenal, acting is great and will never get bored of it. First time I saw it was over 40 years ago. A true masterpiece in every way.
One of the most underrated yet brilliant movies ever. Way ahead of its time. Chris Reeve and Jane one of 😘😘 the most beautiful screen couples ever. Rest in peace , Chris.
Victoria Johnson I remember seeing this in the theater when it first came out. Although I had never loved and lost at that point, it did bring tears to my eyes. Even though, I believe the movie wasn’t very popular, I found it to be a moving story.
My wife and I watched this movie when we were first dating, I lost her two years ago and the clips of this movie make we wish I could go back to that time
Dedicated to my mom who passed away in the UK on March 25, 2020 from COVID19 at the age of 71. She loved this film. Thank you to all the NHS Frontliners who looked after her. She died peacefully.
I lost my beloved soul mate, my husband in July 2016. I remember him saying some years ago, about this movie, saying how beautiful it was, and that I should watch it. Never watched it till after he passed, but everytime I see the ending where she is waiting for him, I can't help but cry. I pray I will be reunited with him some day.
I saw this movie with my girlfriend at the time it was released, she cried so much that it made me cry too, we were holding hands watching the movie, but shortly after she passed away and I have not been able to forget her, I never got married, waiting one day I will be able to see her again, this story and music takes me to the hotel to meet her in a divine moment but then I see the coin and I return to reality, I became more sensitive than I ever imagined.
when you have truly loved someone, and lost that person, only then can you appreciate how Deep this movie really is. God Bless christopher reeves..in so many ways.
Rob Washere very true. In my life I have loved others, but the literal love of your life goes way deeper. That was 30+ years ago and nothing has even come close.
@@danielc.8875 I haven't paid much attention in the last 10-15 years, but Hollywood has a long history with some fairly despicable males in leading roles, all the way back to Charlie Chaplin and other silent stars. Reeve was one of the few true gentle people in that industry. Personality disorders abound in Hollywood, especially Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and they aren't the worst but their not far behind the worst (Bill Cosby is considered a sexually violent predator), Michael Douglas is accused of sexual harassment, Richard Dreyfus exposed himself to a female writer, Morgan Freeman has been accused by 8 different people, Dustin Hoffman was accused by a 17 year old girl of inappropriate behavior. Woody Allen. Kevin Spacey. George Takei. Jeffrey Tambor. Sylvester Stallone. Ben Vareen. That is just some of the leading men over age 60. There are just as many under the age of 60 who are equally as bad. Director James Toback (73) has over 300 accusers. There are many other directors. Roman Polanski comes to mind, as does Woody Allen. Go into television and you have Charlie Rose with several accusers, David Letterman with several accusers. Matt Lauer with several accusers. Go into classical music and you have several conductors from James Dutut (81) of the London Royal Philharmonic to NY Met Opera conductor James Levin (75). Go into ballet and you have The American School of Ballet having to "remove" longtime ballet chief Peter Martins (71). Go into photography and you have another whole list of men over 60, each with several accusers. Don't get me started on the male comedians, as the list is long, long, long. There are a lot of men in the world, sadly from young to elderly, who have spent their lives preying on the vulnerable, exploiting their employees, students, assistants, and even prepubescent children. If you wanna read something truly disturbing read about Tom Sizemore (age 59). The 11-year old girl is now an adult and has pressed charges since her parents dropped the charges back in 2003. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/tom-sizemore-was-removed-movie-set-allegedly-violating-11-year-old-girl-1057629/ There are a lot of very, very disturbed and entitled men in the world, and the very sad thing is that most women and girls do NOT report what happens to them. These are just a few cases where there are multiple accusers. There are some good men left, but not as many as we would hope. Ron Howard comes to mind. Tom Hanks comes to mind. Then you have the males in Hollywood who had fake marriages and lived double lives with young gay male lovers. They weren't predators, but they sure were dishonest.
John Barry - he was a brilliant composer. He composed the equally beautiful music for Out of Africa, Dances with Wolves, and many of the James Bond movies.
When John Barry wrote this music he had just went through the loss of his mother and his father. This music is probably the best example of a true imprint of love and loss within this universe. I would have to say... the greatest music ever written.
Wow. Thank you for the info. So SAD, though, yet, he brought his heart into his music and it shows! Would love to tell John Barry thank you for such gorgeous music. He did such a fantastic job!
After watching this movie so many years ago, the only way I can describe it, is this way. Love never dies, It just wanders thru time until it arrives at the place its suppose to be.
Perfectly said!! 💙💚❤️💛 I watched this movie so many years ago and it's never left my mind or heart! Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour do a fabulous and believable job, they were meant to do this movie. I have a lot of movies I love and some are my favorites.. but this and What dreams may come are forever at the top of the list!!
Has been my favorite movie for many years. I love the storyline, music, and the cast's great acting, especially Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves (RIP).
My Dad LOVED THIS MOVIE. He probably watched it 30 or more times. He always wanted to take our Mother to The Grand Hotel, but sadly he passed away before he was able to. I go to the cemetery where he is laid to rest. Polish up his plaque, put new plastic flowers up, new flags and solar lights. I bring some lunch with me and after I’m done cleaning up his area, I’ll have lunch and sit there with him. I’d give anything just to have 1 more hour with him again. I know that someday I’ll see him again. RIP POPS USN E8 Retired. You are gone from us, but never forgotten.
@@kateli1880 On Mackinaw Island in Michigan. What a wonderful tribute to your Dad. It keeps you close to each other. The singer Connie Francis sang "You're gone from me, but in my memory, we'll always be together!" 😩😩
With tears coming down ….. what an absolute beautiful movie showing a love so profound that time and distance can’t diminish it. Simply breathtaking!!!!!!
Hands down - One of the most Romantic movies ever made ! So Beautiful and hauntingly sad with one of the most Gorgeous Musical scores ever written for a film ! Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour are so perfect in this movie , and he is sadly missed , he was Superman !
Amen to that and what makes it even sadder, is when his sweet wife died just 17 months later of lung cancer. She loved him so much. She never left his side and took such great care of him.
Christopher Reeve was a beautiful man. He played Superman as if he were born to play him. A tragic accident left him in a wheelchair. His wife truly loved him and stayed with him through it all. May he RIP.
This was and will always be my favorite movie. My husband and I watched it countless times. He would always bring the box of tissues before we settled in to watch. He passed 11 years ago, and as difficult as it is to watch without him, I can feel him sitting with his arm around me❤
Is funny you say that cause iam 55 yrsold and the first time I saw this movie was in puetro rico I was in my first year of high school and it has become one of my all time favorite it is so moving and she is so beautiful I wish I could go back in time.
I'm not even half of any of your ages and yet I cry too. Isn't it nice that no matter the age gap, we have something nice in common? Wish they made movies like this still
@@lisal8568 Hi Lisa,,,the reason that I Think movies aren't made like this is: the heart of our youth is diminishing in the cold electronics, the general "me'ism" attitude. We can go on and on but the generations of Americans are changing and their hearts are changing.
My mother was 16 when she dated this young 18 year old going into the navy. By the age of 18, she lost contact with him as his life moved on. By 30, she had been married, had me, divorced, and retrained as a nurse. One day she went to do her Sister's rounds and to see the navy officer who had transferred in overnight with appendicitis. They recognised each other immediately and six weeks later they married. He was the best father any daughter could hope for. He died a couple of weeks after their 50 wedding anniversary - Mum followed him four years later. This was the music at her funeral.
Another movie that I thought was another very romantic movie is called, Doctor Zhivago. That too has beautiful music. Maybe Connor will make a montage of that one.
This movie was created in the 1980s when many people still considered that love was a matter of life. Love was a serious and dedicated relationship. The producer, director, cameramen, actors, screenwriter, music composer, and all related people created it so beautifully. In the 2020s, we just can't go back in time anymore.
This is one of themost beautiful love stories ever written. What is even more interesting is the back story of how this even came about. I cry every time I see it and love the soundtrack. I have a friend that wrote words to the theme song and I have it on a cassette, I need to transfer it to a cd so I don't loose it. My friend has passed and I should honor him that way.
Totally agree, Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour's performances were excellent! You can feel Richard Collier's pain and anguish at finding and losing the love of his life. They met back up in heaven to be together for Eternity. John Barry's musical score is so emotionally charged and a vital part in making this film so powerful!
John Barry lost _both_ his parents. This was his first score he did since their death; he chose to do this movie (I think because of his friend Jane Seymour's request) instead of the next James Bond movie.
I lost my sister a year ago and pray I’ll see her again in the afterlife. I played this song the day she passed and cried so hard. This happens frequently but it’s so beautiful. RIP🙏😘
@@sharontiglao5826 I feel for you so much! When my sister passed, I didn’t think It’d ever recover. Unfortunately, we had a lot of differences but an unsaid love for each other. I think of her on a daily basis and look forward to seeing her again. Take care, Sharon! Life does heal.🥰🙏😇🫶
@lindajack7969 so sorry for each and everyone who lost loved ou I lost two sisters too young and my parents 💔 I wish we can go back and change everything 💔
This was my Father's favorite movie. He would watch it over and over. He passed away from Parkinson's July 21, 2011 and My Mom said to me while she was holding his hand "Remember Somewhere in time? My Mom. My bestfriend passed awat a week ago at age 79 August 21, 2022. I held her hand I said "Mom....Remember Somewhere In Time? It's ok..Go with Dad he's waiting for you to come home! We believe he came and got her I love you Momma! ❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤⚘❤
After my husband passed, out of no where my phone started playing the theme song. I knew right way it was from my husband. Although I know he is just out off sight he is always with me. thank you.
Only those that have lost a loved one and yearn for the days shared will truly understand the power of this movie. If you find true love grab it with all your might and soul and cherish every moment together.
Every time I watch this movie I cry 😭 Jane Seymour & Christoper Reeves we’re absolutely lovely in this film. Watching these clips makes me cry even more! To this day it is one of the best love stories of all time. ❤️
I have the dvd. $5.00 the best purchase. When he had to go back I was devastated If only time travel was real I'll go to the 1920s 30s and 40s. They made a beautiful couple. Rest in peace Mr. Christopher Reeves
This movie is timeless and Christopher Reeve and I WANT you to respond to me as Kurt Schnedier if you don't want me as you want me as Queen and your the prince but bee and we went here 03 and Britain all evil but ireland but bull shit but Filthy and no one wiping and rinsing and how you make Me feel hairy on the underarms.

My Husband and I loved this movie and the music always makes me cry. My Husband and I were 8 days away from our 40th Anniversary, June 29th, 9 years ago when he died suddenly. He was 66. I was 57. This year we would have been married 49 years. We were so close, we knew each others thoughts and could finish each other's sentences. Since he died, I have wished I could go back in time. I have had dreams we knew each other in a different time. When my time comes to be with him again, I want pieces of music from this movie played at my funeral.
I fully understand your thoughts and love of your deceased husband. I'm in that place myself with an ex girlfriend. I cant get connected with anyone since. I find myself talking to her in my sleepas if she was
Bought this movie years ago on VHS and watched it, (crying of course) so many times, I remembered the dialog word for word while watching this. But don't ask me what I had for lunch yesterday....lol
The feelings and emotions that this movie invokes are indescribable. Of the thousands of movies that I have watched over the many years of my life, this is the most memorable, and yet the most poignant of movies that I have ever watched. Kudos to Christopher Reeves and Jane Seymore, no one could ever match your chemistry. When I am long gone, I know this movie will live on into many future generations.
You are right! This movie is wonderful... This movie can be classified as a masterpiece of world cinema! But there are some other great films: "Iron Will" (1994), Duel of Hearts (1991), (1961) "La princesse de Clèves"; "Rebecca" (2008), with Hitchcock (1940), but I liked the Italian adaptation (2008) better. "Il boia di Venezia" (1963), "Monsignore" (1982), "Sitting Pretty" (1948); "La dame de Monsoreau" (1971) .... many wonderful films, some of them forgotten, some kept in private collections and never seen on the "big screens"... and that's a pity...
Apparently he was going through his own personal grief when writing this score. I saw a documentary of him talking about losing both his parents near Yorkshire where he grew up around the time of writing this
@@yvesmrchips-oi4pu Yes... That's right! But the music was written by Sergei Rachmaninoff... one of the greatest composers of all time, but the arrangement was done by John Barry. This composition: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Var. No. 18
I still have a longing in my heart for a companion & friend to share my life with. Whenever I watch the vignette of the scenes from Somewhere in Time, I dare to hope there is a friend & Lover out there looking for me, just as I am looking for her. That longing keeps us alive and hopeful to meet our one true love!
I was just 12 years old when this movie came out and it absolutely shaped my whole idea of romance and enduring love. Even just watching the montage brought me to tears. I still think Christopher Reeve is one of the most beautiful men, perhaps the most handsome man I have ever seen and it still saddens me that he passed away so early. And Jane Seymour is just unbelievably elegant. The movie has stood the test of time and I used to have it on VHS and also had the CD of the soundtrack but I have lost them both over several moves. I will never stop loving this film, to me it was masterful. Thank you for putting together this compilation.
IT'S NOW 2021 AND I STILL REMEMBER THIS IS A LOVE STORY AND WAS SO SAD IT ENDED VERY HEARTBREAKING AND I WISHED THE MOVIE DID NOT END THAT WAY. THE MUSIC IS UNFORGETTABLE.
I'm 55, and I remember watching this beautiful movie when I was on my teens. It never goes old. To me is one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking movies love story ever made.
This movie was just so heartbreaking and when the lovely Christopher Reeves died so tragically, and then his amazing wife soon after, omg...it was all too much. Devastating.
I, to have never felt true love within my lifetime, however, this does not at all erase the impact that this movie for guys like me who are unlucky in love, and have never had love expressed within our lifetime.
Maybe they didn’t like it because of the sadness. I love the movie, it’s one of my favorite, but when he disappeared my heart is broken for them both. I can’t even imagine a lost like that.
don´t worry.. because the 102 people or don´t know about love, or not feel some kind of love. What can we do ??? The movie and the message of love is more important... believe me...
This is without doubt the most romantic movie ever made. The music is so haunting that just listening to it makes me cry. I've watched the move so many times and listened to the music over and over. It still has the power to move me. I see and hear something new every time.
I know we will be! I feel that truth with every part of my heart mind and soul. Death is not the end of life. I will see my loved ones again, you will as well.
Beautiful love story! This will always be one of my favourite movies! Seeing Christopher Reeves again made me realize just how much I miss him as an actor. He was truly a genuine treasure. RIP Guardian Angel! 😇
One of the most beautiful love stories ever made. Everything about it, the story, the location, the beautiful actors, the scenery, the costumes, the music. All perfection, and a movie I have watched many times. I always cry too, every time.
This movie is so beautiful it is almost unbearable to watch. Two hearts truly in love are not ruled by time nor place. Our hearts know no time. That is how I picture my death.. I float for a moment above this old shell of me and then, I see him, my husband and we are young again, and there is no separation, no time, no distance. I miss him so very much! I wear my ring still and will wear it until death takes me back to him.
Before Christopher Reeve passed away he had several death/near death experiences, and what you are describing is precisely what he said happened. Of course he was revived each time.
When my husband was in the last months of his earthly life I took him for the summer to the Snowy Range Mountains of Wyoming. Each day we would drive to the top to park and listen to this music and share the mountains together. Lovely memories.
Ooooh sweet story as you were with him. So romantic that you're just like he was. You'll reunite with him again. Love, compassion, loyalty, understanding are God like. We're 👨👩👧👦children of God. Thank you for sharing your kind and genlte 🏞️nature. 💖Love.
The movie and the theme song makes me weep, I lost my wife a year ago, my greatest fear was I would outlive her ,for the first time in my life I know what it means the be breathing but dead of heart, she was my heart my reason for living, I miss her sweet voice, her gentle touch the strength she gave me, the love I always counted on,that was the blood in my veins,God I miss her, Rosie, God willing I will be with you again Soon, your my forever love, your Don.
Don am sure she knows she feels your pain ans desire, union will come again.until then life this life in grace and gratitude for all the blessings ,moments together, sing with a heart of joy and she will join you,
My sister was working on the Island that summer. She was cast as a maid and is seen sweeping the carpet in the lobby when Richard comes down after time traveling
What a lovely story and thank you so much for sharing, Teresa. This movie has captured my heart so much and your Sister was so lucky to have worked on such a beautiful production.
One of the most beautiful love stories ever written and filmed. The book by Richard Matheson was written in 1980. After the movie came out I read the book. The book has a different ending than the movie but still memorable. Mr. Matheson also wrote the screenplay for "I Am Legend", many Twilight Zone episodes, Duel starring Dennis Weaver as well as many more. What makes this movie so special is many years later the public learned that Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour were actually in love with each other. Their love was definitely portrayed throughout the movie. Circumstances prevented them from being together at that time but they remained friends. Their love will forever live on in this movie.
Not anymore. I made it a first name. And I'm not the only one. My daughter went to school with many Mckennas, though they were all spelled differently.
The way he looks at her is magical. So many emotions resonates through him and Barry’s score carries it to your heart. The happiness, the tragedy, the longing, everything packs in Reeve’s way of looking at her.
My sweet forever love, this was our wedding song . We played it all the time. An original movie poster hung in our shared office for years as a reminder. We watched this epic film many times together. We visited The Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island together 1 year before he passed away. I play this music daily, as it keeps him close to me always.

Something we all dream about but few really ever find. This movie is one of my favorites and I cry every time I watch it. I don't know if it would be better to know this deep a love and loose it, or to never have experienced it at all.
the best movie I've ever watch. I literally feel in love with it , the story the cast the scenery all are really just perfect. a classic master piece no one had ever surpass to this date.
Seems even more than that... There's no other movie I could watch several times a year. Whenever she asks "Is it you?" with that worried-but-hopeful expression and the lighthouse in the background, it's like the first time seeing it. Can't wait to visit the hotel and stand in that spot :)
My husband worked for Christopher Reeve as a aid and I can tell you he was a lovely everyday guy but his wife Dana was a brilliant nice person. I was so sad to hear she had passed there son Will is a well rounded young man.
This is one of my all time favorite movies! I love how eloquently it was cast! The actors were perfection! That role was made for Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeves! He was so handsome and she was so beautiful!! The music pulls on my heart strings EVERY TIME!! It is one of the most romantic movies of all time. Wish romantic courting was still something that occurred today.
You go to some Asian countries, courtship is still alive but not all men do it. It is the Western white influence who made courtship disappear. People just want everything convenient and selfish when it comes to love.
This movie came out when I was 14. One of my favorite movies from my childhood. The scenery was amazing! This was the most beautiful Jane Seymour ever looked in any movie. I love the story. I laughed and cried. Great movie!!!
One of,if not,the most romantic movies ever made.. everything came together perfectly. The chemistry between them, the haunting music, the question of time travel. I dare anyone to say they did not shed a few tears watching this masterpiece. I've seen it many times over the years and never grow tired of it.
One of my favorite time travel & love story film. The soundtrack is amazing & gets me emotional every time I hear it. Both gorgeous Jane & Christopher played their characters well. I read somewhere that they fell in love during filming, but due to challenges, could not continue. It's been a long time since I was on beautiful Mackinac Island & a perfect place for the storyline. Thanks for sharing this SIT montage.
One of my favorite movies of all time. The story, Jane Seymour and Christopher Reeve. The heartbreaking ,beautiful score by John Barry, my all time love movie music composer. In an interview, he said his Mother had just passed away before writing this score. I cry every time I see this movie. I figure skated to this piece and won 1st place. I also walked down the aisle to the main theme. This means so much to me.
Really? Who cares. Don't know how many times I've watched the movie and listened to the theme on my way to work. The movie touches my heart deeply every time I watch it. The theme scores by John Barry and the chemistry between Jean Seymour and Christopher Reeves just can't be matched. And wait, there's Christopher Plummer, that my daughter fell in love with when she was in college 🤣🤣🤣. This is definitely the best love story movie in my book.
@@koreandramaclassics9124 So Old? I always feel eternally young when I listen to music; your HEART is surely YOUNG if you are so moved by this movie, I must conclude. I too saw it in the movies, when it premiered; I was at Woodstock, so you know I'm no spring-chicken...chronologically. "When the music's over, turn out the lights". Bet your young enough to know who wrote that lyric! Health; Peace; Music; Love... Always
I'm sorry for your lost! She will always be with you because the love still remains,
You can be sure, this was not a coinsidence - she was telling you that.
She was with you then, and she still is. 🦋

2023 and it’s still one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.
No other "love-tragedy-fantasy" movie has ever close to the beauty of this movie.

my favorite all time movie since I was a kid. I'm 52 and remember watching when I was very young.
Melhor filme que já assisti 😊
When my oldest sister was sick with cancer, she insisted that we watch the movie over and over when I would come to take care of her. Her husband had just passed away 18 months before her and it was their favorite movie. When she died at the age of 49 we played Somewhere In Time theme music at her funeral. When I hear this beautiful music it doesn't make me sad. Instead it brings back the sweet memories of watching the movie with her.

Cant say enough about that movie. Best ever made.
My wife and I watched this beautiful movie together, so heart wrenching couldn't talk just held her hand and kissed it often until the movie ended.
My beautiful wife went to Heaven in December 2020. She was 76 and I'm 67. How I truly wish that like in the movie I could travel back in time 💔
We're from Chicago and one of our most memorable trips was driving to Copper Harbor Michigan.

The 11-year old girl is now an adult and has pressed charges since her parents dropped the charges back in 2003. www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/general-news/tom-sizemore-was-removed-movie-set-allegedly-violating-11-year-old-girl-1057629/
There are a lot of very, very disturbed and entitled men in the world, and the very sad thing is that most women and girls do NOT report what happens to them.
Christopher Reeve was breathtaking. I still can't believe he is gone.
he looks like nice Guy. I may rememaber. before f-ever...

One of the most beautiful, haunting and touching movie scores of all time.
This movie was created in the 1980s when many people still considered that love was a matter of life. Love was a serious and dedicated relationship. The producer, director, cameramen, actors, screenwriter, music composer, and all related people created it so beautifully. In the 2020s, we just can't go back in time anymore.

I have to watch this
What's the name of the movie??
@@lonsp.t3568Somewhere in time
Somewhere in time
John Barry, my favorite composer. His work is stunning. There is no other movie like this. Timeless.
Apparently he was going through his own personal grief when writing this score. I saw a documentary of him talking about losing both his parents near Yorkshire where he grew up around the time of writing this
John Barry is also my favourite composer en Somewhere in time is 4me the best soundtrack ever !
he did the work for free they couldnt afford his music! all because jane seymore called him!

Yes... That's right! But the music was written by Sergei Rachmaninoff... one of the greatest composers of all time, but the arrangement was done by John Barry. This composition: Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Var. No. 18
This is the most wonderful movie ever made; touched me so deeply.....
Fully agree with you
Have you seen " The Two Worlds of Jeannie Logan (1979) with Marc Singer and Lindsey Wagnor
I am agree with you, my favorite film
Agree totally. Best love story, best time travel film...and the music! Simply beautiful.
I'll never forget this movie.
Oh dear god, thank you for giving us John Barry who has taken us to another dimension through his music. My heart will forever be grateful.
Yes Reeve plays the role like a charm..
IT'S NOW 2021 AND I STILL REMEMBER THIS IS A LOVE STORY AND WAS SO SAD IT ENDED VERY HEARTBREAKING AND I WISHED THE MOVIE DID NOT END THAT WAY. THE MUSIC IS UNFORGETTABLE.
I think its about time to remake this movie again
Great!
I hope you're doing well, dear Joyanne. This is the first time I see a piece of this movie. It has an amazing soundtrack. I hope to watch it someday.

I loved this movie so
Maybe they didn’t like it because of the sadness.
I agree
This movie is epic! I seen this movie 40 years ago, it is the most beautiful love story ever told! I even have the original album!
I have the DVD
dvd? how cool is that. i love life, but i want to be with my loved ones, how crazy is that! GOD has a reason 4 us all! thank you 4 replying!
This is without doubt the most romantic movie ever made. The music is so haunting that just listening to it makes me cry. I've watched the move so many times and listened to the music over and over. It still has the power to move me. I see and hear something new every time.
This is my hope, that one day, when our time comes, we're reunited with our loved ones.
Each needs to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and His payment for our sins in order to be allowed into Heaven.
😭😢

I know we will be! I feel that truth with every part of my heart mind and soul. Death is not the end of life. I will see my loved ones again, you will as well.
Beautiful love story! This will always be one of my favourite movies! Seeing Christopher Reeves again made me realize just how much I miss him as an actor. He was truly a genuine treasure. RIP Guardian Angel! 😇
Hello Patricia,
How are you doing ?
Linda tua história. Comovente. Grato em compartilhar.
This is one of the most touching love story ever. The music by John Barry is breathtaking. It touches my heart every time l listen to it.

Colossenses 1:13-14
Que o ímpio abandone o seu caminho;
e o homem mau, os seus pensamentos.
Volte-se ele para o Senhor,
que terá misericórdia dele;

Composer Sergei Rachmaninoff
When my husband was in the last months of his earthly life I took him for the summer to the Snowy Range Mountains of Wyoming. Each day we would drive to the top to park and listen to this music and share the mountains together. Lovely memories.

My sister was working on the Island that summer. She was cast as a maid and is seen sweeping the carpet in the lobby when Richard comes down after time traveling
Qué emocionante
Very cool

He was a very handsome man
What a lovely story and thank you so much for sharing, Teresa.
The way he held her face and looked in her eyes and kissed her deeply was so beautiful.
So damn Touching it gives me chills!

The way he looks at her is magical. So many emotions resonates through him and Barry’s score carries it to your heart. The happiness, the tragedy, the longing, everything packs in Reeve’s way of looking at her.

You go to some Asian countries, courtship is still alive but not all men do it. It is the Western white influence who made courtship disappear. People just want everything convenient and selfish when it comes to love.
