Stu's death scene... The way they shot that scene was horror movie worthy, like straight out of Jaws.
Scrat (the squirrel) died. He went to nut heaven. But Sid found him and performed CPR (mouth to mouth). He brought him back to life. That made Scrat very angry because it took him away from nut heaven.
That’s why Scrat attacked Sid. He wasn’t happy about being saved.
The Reason Why Scrat Attacks Sid, It Because Sid Ate His Acorn Before CPR.
Absolutely everyone knows this.

Scrat has survived the worst of the worst over and over again
The purple monster didn't "turn the turtle into the green monster". The green monster was already in the ice with the purple one before he melted down and then they both ate the turtle.
Also, that "turtle" is actually a Glyptodon. They were basically oversized armadillos.

The scene, with the mammoths (which I think came from the other size of the ice that was seperated) walking with the dramatic music, is my favorite scene in the entire franchise. It's just epic.
About the aquatic reptiles, they are surprisingly not dinosaurs, and are as follows: Maelstrom (green) is a Pliosaur, and Cretaceous (purple) is a Ichthyosaur.

In my opinion, Elly didn't overreacted. When a species goes extinct, it is only natural, according to the motto: survival of the fittest. Even if Elly and Manny had been the last mammoths, there were still several mammoths before them who could have changed something.

I love how sid grew from mostly a stupid comic relief in the first to actually being a little smarter and actually giving some of the most clever and impactful lines in this franchise in this movie alone. He jokes about the fire king because hes never appreciated. Even the part where he jumped in the water and hit the ice. He wasn't stupid. He had his eyes closed. He just got really unlucky. He is way too overhated in these movies. And he is so expertly voice acted by John Leguizamo. That guy is so good. I'll always love the first and third one. But this one is the best. The animation was a major improvement over the first. Don't get me wrong, the first looks amazing for it's time. But for a couple years after, technology had vastly improved and it shows. Scrats bits are the best, the soundtrack perfectly balanced between epic, beautiful, tense and even horrifying at some points. Diego's fear of water and finally facing is great. Sid grows so much. Ellie was a great addition. And the two possums are actually bearable. I'm just going to say, this franchise gets way too much hate. The only one that isn't that good is the 5th one. And I dispose the realistic complaint. It's like, you're watching a movie about a mammoth, a saber tooth and a sloth escape a massive flood a defeating ancient underwater beasts. Can't you just enjoy the fucking movie for its wackiness? That's the whole point. If you want to watch a realistic ice age, then watch a documentary. Don't come in and make complaints about something that wasn't even intended in the first place. Overall, 4.8 out of 5 for me. Just an overall fantastic movie. But not really uncommon thinking it's the best. Also, great reaction. Can't wait to see the next one.
The first movie wasn’t even at all realistic, plenty of the animals seen in the movie didn’t even exist in North America
@@gormottigrebel9978 Exactly. That why I hate criticism for something that wasn't even intended. Because if it was realistic like they say, all the animals would be different, no talking and it would be like watching a documentary and that isn't what anyone signed. And I hate the humor point. People always say that when something isn't funny it's bad. But that's not true. If something isn't funny, it's just not your type of humor. Some people absolutely hate fart jokes and think it makes s movie unwatchable. But some may think it is hysterical. It's so vastly different from each perspective. Comedy is not subjective. What makes you laugh is. Something with clever writing can be seen as a clever joke. A fart isn't one of them. But reviewers think jokes are bad just because they don't laugh. So they'll see a really clever joke and say that they get but it didnt laugh, some reviewers then say it is bad comedy because it's not their type of humor. And that's just not how it works.

In the movie scrat fights piranhas if you look to the one that ate the nut he is off to the side but at the end he gets it from the othe piranha
The green creature was always with the purple one, you just didn't catch it because the purple one was in the front
The turtle wasn't mutated, he was eaten by both of them
The Last mammoths went extinct around the time that the Egyptians existed.
These films just keep on getting better animation and story but the 2nd will always be my favourite. *I should warn you though, Simon Pegg will keep you entertained and on the edge of your seat in the next...*
I know the purple sea monster is a Metriosuchus, a form of oceanic crocodile. Not sure what that green monster is thou.

@@meganlodon seriously? They look nothing like those animals and there are other prehistoric animals I can think of that resembles them more.
With that short, square head, the green one looks more like a Dakosaurus or a Placodont than a Pliosaur.

I completely agree with what he's saying about people littering. It's the same people who think it's okay to graffiti rocks on national parks to say they were here. If you can't leave it as you left it, stay at home and away from the beauty of our parks.

Yknow me and my little sister (whose just 1 yr younger than me) used to pick up all the rubbish on our street almost everyday back in 2019, but we were just sick and tired of rubbish that was reappearing the day after that and the day after that. We just gave up on humanity really 😥😵😰

Environmental crisis, we can't make changes as a society or individually, but maybe as communities we can invest in a change, everyone says to take immediate action but if everyone just thought about their communities wouldn't we essentially be doing the same thing? Elect officials that support this cause, they'll work in those changes but as communities, maybe it doesn't seem so impossible after all. I love what you said about wanting a beautiful home, we should all strive to find that where we are, not destroy what's left with tourism
