    Australia is paradise:
    With every sunset and sunrise
She'll give us happiness and love,
Although we know it's not enough,
But we are sure that she will
(If we just ask for this!) fulfill
    Our boundless wishes and desires.
    Australia, you're paradise!
Forever we will all love you,
Like grass awaits the morning dew,
Like birds will need high azure sky,
Where even humans want to fly
    Enjoying all this paradise -
    The smallest continent by size
    With real miracles from God!
From day to day we only thought
How we could find the shortest way
To get to Queensland, Sydney's Bay,
    Canberra, Darwin, Perth, Gold Coast:
They're all the best - there is no worst
    On wonderful Australian land
    Which miracles will never end!

Totally agree... This speciesest ideology that us humans have come to subscribe to is truly mind boggling! Rodents are damaging the ecosystem = BAD... Yet, humans simultaneously destroying enormous swathes of ecosystems all over the world to make room for animal agriculture/ exploitation of certain species = GOOD FOR PROFITS... In both examples, animal abuse is rife and unjust... The cognitive dissonance of people continues to astonish.

    • @tamamakiiti587
      @tamamakiiti587 Год назад

tourism is capped at 400 at one time, air bnb is banned as are cruise ships. Our tourism industry is what keeps us as residents afloat as well as maintains good favour with the government which in turn allows us to maintain our world heritage listing.
We eradicated the rats to preserve the environment, which in turn fuels our tourism industry and these in combination were what gave the government the motivation to offer us the grant that enabled the eradication in the first place
Tourism is only a problem when it becomes the priority over the environment itself, which is nonsensical as without our natural beauty, there is no tourism draw, so for us it's hand in hand
      There is always a compromise
