I have to commend you Mike. No matter what the keyboard warriors say, you are doing it! You are doing what most people just talk about. From shrewd beginnings comes knowledge that leads to a wealth of useful information! I love your slogan “ I’m not a welder, i just own one”! Great job Captain!
Totally agree with your sentiment David, after all if it wasn't for the Captain's in this world where would we be. There would have been no industrial revolution and we're all still be living in caves!
Captain Kleeman, you don't need rock sliders. You need tree sliders .😉😅😅😅😅🤣🤣 With that valley between the rear tires it looks like a good tree dragging machine. 🤔
When you got her//it going.... your smile was priceless! Have fun be safe. See ya in the next 555 videos, or whatever you throw at us, always appreciate it!
FUBAR U. Def. Captain + questioable parts+a little imagination+ some self deprication over the effective use of a welder... "I am Not a welder, I just own one". Naysayers, get over yourselves. The man puts out some really funny interesting stuff...so shut up and listen with your ego turned off.
Life's short, so have at er. This is coming from a guy that turned 70 his last birthday and is still saying, what the, why I can't believe...., how in the world !?!?!?!?! Have fun and just live it to the fullest. Bless you young man and keep it right side up. Thanks for having fun for all of us. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
Awesome! Pro tip, mother always said never weld with holes in your jeans- get one of those hot berries in there and it will certainly get your undivided attention!
Now, you need some type of left-right dial gauge on the dash to indicate the rear tire position. But, that can come with the permanent switching. Fun to watch this.
It's great to do fun projects too like the vehicle , as well as practical ones like the coop and goat barn and money makers like the boat rental. Looks like a great diversion.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Liked you t- shirt idea, had one to add, I don’t worry about overspray, just underspray. Wishing you and your family the best.
LMAO. Hope MBTS is there when you drive it up to Mike's place and have it crabbing. Especially if they don't know you're coming. Heck, maybe Clint and Kevin will be there too.
Okay, now I’m ready for the first Captain Kleeman-Wesley Kagen collaboration. Just put you two in a shop to build anything with a camera rolling. Your Channel is pure joy!
Nothing ventured, nothing gained! You don't know, until you try! He who says it can not be done, should not get in the way of he who is doing it! Some of the great axioms that come to mine as I watch you on this project! Great video, Mike! Lee
It's alive! Now that is exactly what happens in 'paddock bashing' - fall off the back of the ute/truck into the mud here in Aus. Fun on wheels that are eady for the scrap heap - loved it.
Another reason to grin.... FordAru moves like an animal !! Good matching the two halves together, never knew paint could run marathon to cover up the welding!!! The way you handled the steering, you should put in for a tiller driving course 🤔🤣
Sir. You are a natural! Like you pick the spot to heat up and fold. Further saw you ,,stretching,, steel plates. A dying bread who know how to heat up a plate of steel and get the dents out by heating one side and cooling the other to get it flat.
A row of rivets looks great on sheet metal. It would be easier that stick welding it. Not judging, just suggesting for future sheet metal joinery. That’s a very cool project.
Hey Mike if you were to install a cross bar under the steering column back of the steering wheel and use it to steer the rear wheels you should be able to control your turning a bit easier
Would be cool to separate the winch buttons and set up a lever in the cab so if you move the lever to the right the rear goes right and vice versa. Much easier to control. Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing.
Okay, I have to admit, as soon as you were taking that test drive at the abandoned property, I couldn't stop laughing. That was hilarious, especially when you ran into the tree. So much fun to watch Mike, keep up the great content.
Struth Captain that was fun ,the video few by ready for the next part. You don't need L plates on it. Just have your fun and take me a long with you. Thank you Captain
in r/t the winch.....at first i didn't have a clue what you were doing and/or why. after you did what you did.....i knew! looks like you were having fun driving around, and your smile was contagious!!!
Ha ha, that's just awesome. Grab another one of them winches, mount an old trailer as a bed with pivot joint and use the second winch to make a tipping bed.
Your welding is steadily improving as well your confidence.... Vertical welds are challenging.... watch you puddle more closely and don't rush it.... may have to adjust temperature and or slow down application/side too side sweeps ... Practicing different application techniques will help you with appearance and strength of final weld... Very cool little yard truck ... fun to see it come together...
Awesome! Next a 4x4 with 4 wheel steering! How about a gauge or camera inside the cab that shows you which direction the wheels are? I would recommend the rear steering frame be turned around 180 degrees to keep the caster angle correct.
As I've said before, your welding is better than some so called professionals that I have seen. Also for you this is your play project, which may I say is really enjoyable to watch and something Mad Max would be proud of. Really liking your rear wheel steering option, think Ford and Saburu should add it to all there models. 🤗
So cool, so you really want to get fancy if you can tap into the steering position sensor on the suby you can tie that into a microcontroller to handle controlling the rear steer.
Awesome video buddy keep up the great concert and I'll keep watching that things will be a lot of fun to drive around I'll tell you that 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Cap’n thanks for takin’ me along on the maiden voyage of the Rangaru’s 2+2 wheel steering mod. And, thoughtfully including a crash…. What more could us thrill seeking fans want? You know, forklifts operate with rear wheel steering alone. I don’t remember much about my first driving experience with one… it as over 40 years ago. But, I did train scores of other forklift operators since then. And, I can tell you that once you gain an awareness of how the rear end swings… it’s great for maneuvering through obstacles. Until then, expect that rear swing to always feel twice as wide as you need. Now, you have me Jonesing for a 2+2 steering experience. I have a suggestion… how about offering a Rangaru obstacle course ride for guests willing to pay a premium… and sign a life or death waiver? Cap’n, keep ratcheting up the thrills…. By the time the CKS RUclips Yacht sails… she’ll be booked for years!
I love how it's coming out, you give me some bad ideas, I don't have anywhere to drive one, but somehow that doesn't matter, I want one anyway. After talking to one of my friends, my wife over herd me talking about your project, seeing how animated I was she thinks it may not be a good idea for me to watch you so much! I'll have to wait for her to leave the room! I'm hooked and not leaving! Keep them coming Captain!
You remind me so much of me in my younger days. Make some triangles from some metal to attach to the tie rods with a single piece of solid rod to attach to the steering arm. Worked great on a demonstration school bus cut in half and welded two fronts together. No one ever new if I was coming or going 🤔🫣😂 hi from Texas
"A grinder and paint makes me the welder I ain't" -- Lucky Costas. Words I live by.
Dang!!!!She works!!!!!
Watching that thing crab is hilarious
I have to commend you Mike. No matter what the keyboard warriors say, you are doing it! You are doing what most people just talk about. From shrewd beginnings comes knowledge that leads to a wealth of useful information! I love your slogan “ I’m not a welder, i just own one”! Great job Captain!
I appreciate that

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍That’s the dammedest ‘ thing I’ve seen in a while !! Keep up the good work !! No attention to the keyboard winers !!
Captain Kleeman, you don't need rock sliders. You need tree sliders .😉😅😅😅😅🤣🤣
With that valley between the rear tires it looks like a good tree dragging machine. 🤔
🤣🤣 rub rails will be a necessity
Great fun, Mike…looking forward to more! Thanks!
I keep telling people how great those purple stripper disk are
Pretty awesome
If you can’t have fun with the hobby you have chosen, why do it. I like it. Thanks for the ride along (literally)😊😂
Welding has gotten a great deal better. Looking great.
Thanks 👍
When you got her//it going.... your smile was priceless! Have fun be safe.
See ya in the next 555 videos, or whatever you throw at us, always appreciate it!
The smile says success. 😃😀
Well done Captain.
Did driving that feel like the back of a ladder truck, except someone else drives the front. You’re getting it done!
welding, cutting, painting. 4 wheel steer and the River chair too.
Congrats Captain! What a milestone, to get the 4 wheel steering operable and the Fubaru moving on it's own power!
Yes indeed!
"Fubaru". Great name, I love it...
Fubaru is a perfect name. Bet you can get some decals from C&C.
Got a good laugh outta me, Fubaru is the perfect name for this thing
FUBAR U. Def. Captain + questioable parts+a little imagination+ some self deprication over the effective use of a welder... "I am Not a welder, I just own one".
Naysayers, get over yourselves. The man puts out some really funny interesting stuff...so shut up and listen with your ego turned off.
I would love to see this put in a car show at some point in the future
🤣
28:19 🤣🤣👍 You amaze me; that rear wheel steer solution was ingenious. I love your sense of humor and personality. This channel rocks. Thanks Capt. 👍
Barrett Jackson here we come. Very nice
Lol
I love the sideways driving, which should come in handy for parallel parking between trees😂 Great job Mike!!👍🇺🇸
Thanks 👍
Never doubted it for a moment. Genius entertainment with belly laugh asides. There’ll be a million of us before you know it, Cap’n.
You continue to impress. If there’s ever a zombie apocalypse I sure hope I’m on your team
It's a tough application process
Kleeman's got a crab walker! Congrats
💪
MBTS would be proud of your welding skills. Great project.😀
need to get officer hoover to approve the all wheel steering lol loven it all
I like it! I'd name it "The SubaRooster" just cause it seems a little cocky! :)
🤣🤣

added meaning to the statement "learning curve". What fun.

That would be slick
You Certainly Have a Steady Torching Hand, very nice Stance and Stellar Technique Captain. Welding, Cutting & Fabricating Skills for Days! 😁.
My Dad was a painter. He said many times, "Paint hides a multitude of sins." And, "Beat it to fit, paint it to match." Job well done, Mike.
It's great to do fun projects too like the vehicle , as well as practical ones like the coop and goat barn and money makers like the boat rental. Looks like a great diversion.
Great progress on your vehicle. Always a joy watching the progress and all the step’s in building your project. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
I see a rudder position meter being installed on the dashboard in the near future! So you can see where you are probably going ;-) Awesome job!
The Fubaru lives…with a matching set of wheels too! Well done. Thanks for sharing Cap!
You bet!
You never cease to amaze me with your projects Captain.
💪
Your ingenuity is top notch and astounding. That is pretty flipping cool.
Thanks!
Most excellent cribbing job at 19:57! 😅 What a fun project.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Liked you t- shirt idea, had one to add, I don’t worry about overspray, just underspray. Wishing you and your family the best.
It does look cool.
Thanks!
LMAO. Hope MBTS is there when you drive it up to Mike's place and have it crabbing. Especially if they don't know you're coming. Heck, maybe Clint and Kevin will be there too.
That has to be the funnest toy ever!

Definitely having a good time!
Awesome! See nothing but fun out of that thing.
I was looking for rc videos, and seeing someone actually do this and be just a normal everyday civilian is awesome. Definitely wanna see the updates
It’s alive it’s alive
💪
Hey, officer Hoover take one look at that either drop over dead or breakout laughing it's all fun anyway but the hell
Should be street legal when it's done
Another reason to grin.... FordAru moves like an animal !!
Good matching the two halves together, never knew paint could run marathon to cover up the welding!!!

Old expression: Beat to fit, paint to match. You're making such a cool project!

crabbing is hilarious in a car ...lol
🤣🤣
You really learned how to weld pretty darn good, you carry a good bead, and your little buggy seems to work great, I say great job Mike
Thanks Allen
Yahoo mountain dew!!! Mint❤️👍😁
💪
The CK-1 side-by-side: where Mad Max meets RatRods. Keep on keeping on with the fun!
A row of rivets looks great on sheet metal. It would be easier that stick welding it. Not judging, just suggesting for future sheet metal joinery. That’s a very cool project.
That 4-wheel steering is wild, Mike! Glad you’re having fun!
I am!
That’s why we do crazy stuff , to learn and have fun. I think he has fun even when he’s working, l always did.
Hey Mike if you were to install a cross bar under the steering column back of the steering wheel and use it to steer the rear wheels you should be able to control your turning a bit easier
6:52 this is precisely why I try and not comment before a video’s finished. I had something in mind already to type
🤣
“I’m not a welder, I just own one.” That’s a great line…..love it ❤
Looks like fun

in r/t the winch.....at first i didn't have a clue what you were doing and/or why. after you did what you did.....i knew! looks like you were having fun driving around, and your smile was contagious!!!
Well if nothing else your getting plenty of weld time practice on the ol frankenmobile… love your ingenuity brother !
Love the 4 wheel steer yard buggy will be a blast coordinating that lol, that’s what life’s all about, great video
Thanks 👍
Great job ! Just be careful ! You are having way too much fun with this build. As much as I am watching it. I like the way you think.
Thanks 👍
Ha ha, that's just awesome. Grab another one of them winches, mount an old trailer as a bed with pivot joint and use the second winch to make a tipping bed.

💪

You’ve invented a sidewinder. I am half expecting a n appropriate snake motif. Fun!
I love it, athletic paint. You are very creative. I expect to see a flux capacitor next!
🤣🤣
It needs a turbo first, so it can get 88mph in under 6 seconds
We've all been waiting for this one. I certainly enjoyed the ride along. Silly AND fun. Congrats
Thanks!
Not worried about over spray,
Not like it's a Corvette 😂
Looks like a smart car 👍
Ouch I fall down 😂

That is amazing now all you need is a switch connected to a light so you know the rear wheels are straight
👍
Captain Frankenstein, it’s alive! Love the idea, love the video!❤
Captain,
That is amazing!!
Stay Safe Brother!!
You done 'er bud. I'd love to see the expression on an alignment guy's face if you were to pull it into a shop. 😆 too much fun.

What a blast to work and drive. Great job!
Hi Hi Captain, good morning from Jamaica 🇯🇲. Now I know am in for some fun
