"What's the worst that could happen. I could get blown up? If something goes wrong I'll just fix it."
Non stop entertainment! Love the Fubar-ru.
💪
Mike, the Fubar-ru is a masterpiece and hilarious at the same time. Your imagination and fabrication skills are superior to most collage graduate engineers. Blessings to you.
Thanks bill
Very cool, now you just need an engine start button and get rid of the key switch.
That would be cool
Your imagination and your inventions are out of this world. Really enjoy this channel! You never know what you get. Thanks again for putting a smile on my face on Sunday mornings😊
Appreciate ya watching
Definitely need to make sure you do your pre-flight checks with your switches every time you start it up. And maybe a PA system for talking to passengers. Great video!
Oh a PA would be a good time
FUBAR-RU PERFECT!
💪
Captain totally amazing what you are able to build with your talent and imagination, it makes watching your videos pleasurable, never a dull moment! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
I'm from South Africa and LOVE your videos, gives me lots of laughter 'cause you are like a Kamazi pilot when it comes to you projects and every time, by the mercy of God, it works, well
done!!!!!
Not only having a good time building it, you get a lot of new cool tools.
Don’t know if I have mentioned to you before that one of my favorite channels is Marty T. You remind me of Marty only a younger version. Marty can fix anything and you are getting to that same stage. You have a great channel and I look forward to whatever you’re fixing, creating or building. Great job Michael. Love that Fubar-Ru. 😂
Having all the tools you need at hand is the challenge. Very interesting.👍
Definitely
Good to see you Mike, it’s good to finally have a moment to catch up on what you’ve been up to. Much more interesting than my day today. Appreciate you having us along, I’ll certainly catch you on the next one. Keep it safe out there Sir.
Thanks for watching David
That thing is gonna be Handy-Dandy! 😀😉👍
Now I know why the boat in your logo is called 'Genius' - you named it after yourself! You doing something you so obviously enjoy cheered me up no end Mike. Thanks! 🙂
I am glad that the strangest build on You Tube has returned. I am also glad that it has a very appropriate name. Keep up the good work.
Thanks Robert
Fubar-ru is absolutely the perfect name! Great video!
Thanks Steve
Always look forward to this build, necessity is the mother of invention! Love the tenacity you show on the FUBAR - RU !
The FUBAR-ru is turning out to be one heck of a fancy machine with the addition of the rudder gauge and master power switches.
Pretty soon you’ll need a start up check list and a co-pilot to get it going.
🤣
Mike, I think you’re going to continue to have fun working on the Fubaru for a long time to come. Good for you making time for yourself!
Thanks Rick
You are the Macgver of Derby Indiana.Mike you always impress with ingenuity that you come up with.just keep doing what makes you happy.kudos big time.😎😎😎👍👍👍👨🚒👨🚒👨🚒
Thanks Tom
Looks like a fun ride, keep up the amazing videos
Like a kid with a new toy! Looks like a lot of fun. Hope you’re having a great weekend . Enjoying the video keep up the great work.
Thanks Marty
Love all your videos. Tip from someone who works with all voltages dc and ac up to but not limited to 115,000v. Grease all electrical connections. The winch motor leads you made, dip the wire in grease, any type of grease, then shove in the lug and crimp. Butt splices…. Remove twice the normal insulation, fold exposed wire in half, dip in grease, use the now appropriate sized connector. I have never had one fail or a butt splice/ terminal where the wire pulled out or lost connection under even harsher than normal conditions. Just a guy trying to help, not tell ya what to do! Keep up the great work
Good tip, I appreciate it
You are a great McGuyer the way you put that all together. Great job bub.
The other best thing is you stayed 98% clean today, wife happy, no dirty laundry. 😅😅😂
💪
Wel Captain, you already know that I like to call it FrankienBuggy.
But it's your build and vehicle so it's your right to name it.
FUBAR-RU it is.
It's pretty much one largs conglomeration of odds and ends morphed onto two different vehicles.
Doctor Frankenstien would be jealous.
Once your done you'll be able to yell out 'It's Alive, It's Alive" while cackling insanely with your version of Gene Wilders voice.
I really love how you're going about figuring out how to get everything working together.
It's absolutely brilliant.
Thank for watching Ronnie
Capt, thanks for another great video AND a good 😂 from your drive around the tree 👍👍👍👍👍😺🤗🐺
That is totally AWESOME! So much fun....
💪
Enjoyable as always. 😊
You are having way too much fun with your projects ! I love every single minute of it. Great video, love watching !
Thanks Andy
Mike, I am starting to have as much fun as you.... quite entertaining to say the least and for all sake of purpose, might have some practical use someday. I have a ton of ideas but you seem to have a good many tricks up your sleeve already
HMMMMM!!!!! I think you need to building Mars rovers for a living, I mean, who needs engineers when you have Captain Kleeman designing and building a vehicle. It has to fun to build just to see what can be done, love it youngster, thanks for the video.
Red neck engineering at it's finest, love it
You always bring a smile to my face 😄 Seems like you can always take pleasure in working on something no matter the issues, definitely a lesson to be learned there. Nice progress on the Fubar-ru!
Nice to see an update on this....I still giggle like a little kid over the name Fubar-ru. It just fits so well
Thanks!
Every time you work on the FUBAR-RU I am more concerned about your thought process and if those thoughts keep you awake... another cool video brother, stay frosty Mike.
Fubar-ru name was in an earlier video and love the name. This totally 'new' build will give life on the homestead farm a fun ride. Of course it will never be finished - that is it will always need 'changes' just to see if they work.
Love ya work captain K 👍
Thanks!
Fantastic. Love it. The dump bed is a terrific idea. I really enjoy your practical common sense approach to making something work. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe
Appreciate it
Mike if you want to water proof your large wires put some slithers of hot glue on the connectors then cover with heat shrink and when you use the hot gun it will melt the hot glue and make the heatshrink tight around the wires and when the hot glue comes out you will find the wires are sealed against water ingress.
I think you have become my favourite you tuber. Great attitude nothing stops you. Well done
Thank you!
Nice work there Mike. Love the concept. Looks like a lot of fun. In college, a bunch of us chipped in to buy a junker that we used to do all kinds of stupid things off road. When it broke down, we sold it for scrap and or parts and bought another. Generally, and this was in the 70's, we never paid more than $100-$175 for them. Great fun for a bunch of broke students going to school. Thanks for sharing.
Would definitely make for a good time
im shaking my head and smilling ear to ear so it has to be good. I love it. well done captain. cheers.
Thank you
Pretty neat rear wheel steer
Sort of like watching a train wreck happen. Can't stop watching but in the end, wish you didn't see it. Looking forward to the next one
All you need now is a Flux Capacitor and you’ll have something Bud.
🤣
Don't forget the banana peels, popcorn, and a couple of pencils just for good measure.👌
Been looking out for this one- stoked to see it! Good job
Thanks!
The bird that has been in the background of your recent warmer weather videos sounds like a Video Game PowerUP.✊
Captain Kleeman, the fuaroo is looking great. Down by your pond is killer.😅😅😮😊
Disclaimers are definitely necessary on this channel, if people are not having a good time here, they need to go to a chiropractor or something because adjustments are needed for sure.😃
Suggestion for the rear steer situation. Remove the steering rack, weld pipe or a section of stabilizer bar to the tie rod ends and attach the rudder indicator bar to the newly made tie rod as a more direct connection.
You could even use angle iron or some other metal for the tie rod.🤙
You are very clever. I would not have any idea what to do. Great video!
Thanks don
Thanks for the great content. Wondering if you could move the rudder position sensor to the front wheel position and automatically turn the back tires from the output signal. That would be cool.
I just looked at subscribers and I can’t believe you’ve got 70,000 now at is awesome.
Pretty cool both you and your wife Republic employees.
Appreciate the support
Hay, Mike! Suggestion: put some di-electric paste on your electrical connections before your crimp them and heat seal them. It will save you a lot of grief down the road. Had a starter issue on my Honda Foreman 4-wheeler, and that fixed my problem. Great video! Lee
💪
Hey Mike, got a question for ya. Do the ideas come to you like a wee small voice, are their any drugs involved 😅🤣😂 or are you just blessed with a mind of a child, where everything is
possible and what the heck, why not give er a try😁. Your kids, wife and you will have all sorts of wonderful memories. I can hear your kids in years to come, do you remember when Dad made this or did that, could you believe that he made it work, wasn't it awesome!! Bless you Sir. John here, from the back-roads of Northeastern Tennessee.
I am having a blast watching you build your Frankenstein "Fubar-Ru" buggy Mike. I see the smoke pouring out of your ears with every new challenge. Go Captain Go.
Besides from blowing up or something, there's not much that can go wrong 😂😂😂😂 This brings back memories of when I first started wiring our cabin boat. As you say, its not failing if you learn from it.
Exactly 💪
the coolest piece of junk you have made yet love it lol
How cool is that? Have fun crab walking around the property. Stay safe Captain.
Thanks!
Can't wait to see how you make out at the car shows. 🏆🥇🏅
🤣
Getting some utility out of a hobby build with the addition of a dump bed.👍
Somebody is gonna want to buy the 4 wheel steer device.
you are such a fun guy to watch .... verry smart at figuring things out to work also .... lol
Your a genius captain, that steering system is world class. Your spoiling yourself a bonnet next hing you'll be putting doors on it. 🤣🤗👍
💪
Cap’n it’s official! The Fubar-ru is born. With this proof of concept voyage in the bag, I can line up one of my attorney buddies at the Bureau of Patents and Trademarks. He can register ‘Fubar-ru’ and start the paperwork to apply for patenting the dozens of mind blowing, Earth shaking and utterly life changing innovations that are coming!
That should lessen the risk of intellectual theft… because, there’s plainly some sort of intelligence at work there that a thief is sure to glom onto!!!
I used the same low voltage switch panel as the controller for my solar light system in my equipment barn… mine came with decals for each switch. The one that controls the motion lights has Bigfoot on it… because who else is gonna trip the sensor at 2AM?
Keep on tinkering Cap’n. Once you get the bed on it you can add lawn chairs to carry guests from the YT Yacht to the Swimming hole/Pond. It’ll be as popular an attraction as watching the modified turf tires of the 755 spin in the mud!
Wouldn't be surprised if we see car companies using the FUBAR-RU design in the coming years 🤣
This is totally a tow truck for tight spaces would be fantastic for backing a trailer. You need a reese hitch in the back. and a dump bed. Cool build.
Thank Gregg
You a smart man Mr. Mike, great job!!!
Thank you
I love the attitude AND the DISCLAIMERS!!! lol
Thanks Lonnie
Don't ask me why, but I was SURPRISED to see you had a sheet metal brake in your shop!
Well its almost complete! It works as you said you would like it to!, good job! 😎👌👌
💪
The Fubar-ru decal is too darn funny. Is it sinful to laugh this hard on a Sunday? Thanks, C.K.!
Laughter is a good thing!
Ready for a road trip 😊. You can start making parts runs 😊 just hang a sign “ For Farm Use “
Captain, you put the halves of two vehicles together. And now you’re driving it! Wow…
FUBAR-RU. I love the name Capt. Great video, thank you. 👍
Love this build. I think I said on another video that me and my brother built a few of this type jeloppy. We wore our bike helmets , you know just for safety...LOL
🤣
it's coming along great, don't now where you get your ideas from but some times you're a genius, nice to have a project to keep you busy when nothing else is ready to work on, great job Mike 👏👏👏👍👍👍👌👌👌
Appreciate ya watching
Lots of fun to be had building and the driving that thing.
Definitely!
So much fun Mike 🎉
💪
I love the workmanship 🎉❤
Thanks
another great video and what a vehicle. maybe some sucker rod attached to steering rack to support the angle reading cable. with this vehicle oh man the possibility's, hahahahah.
Thanks for watching Trent!
I just have to watch you videos to the end. Entertaining as usual. Cheers
Thank you Steve
hi Mike. An overhead switch could resemble that of a jet / rocket ship. I saw one person use a heat gun to remove stickers on automobiles. Perhaps one of your disclaimers could be: "This entire video is a disclaimer." That may cover everything. It would be neat if the switch for the wench were mind controlled. That crabbing is funny! Have fun days!
Hey Captain you should pull the sway bar off the Ranger suspension. Springs are going to be stiff no matter what but that will at least free up each side a bit.
Good idea
Love the Indiana Drift!
💪
Ready for mud drifting Kleeman! Nice job
Thank you
Need to take it up to C&C Equipment. Go inside and tell Clint and Kevin you're having a problem with the rudder indicator and want them to fix it.
I'm sure their reaction will be hilarious.
🤣
Always something to do somewhere Captain!!
That was a good idea for the rudder angle meter, works perfectly with the steering 🤓
Overhead switches are easier to see what yoh are doing, and look waaay cooler 😁
Amd now it is officially named too !!
Did you not get the Mayor of Derby to officially name it??? You missd out on a scoop there 🤣😂🤣
He’ll also need a kiddy seat for The Man Behind The Scenes to ride shotgun!
@@sassafrasvalley1939
Hadn't thought of that 😂
Well the fubar ur is getting closer to be where you want it great video thanks Mike
Thanks for watching!
$50 worth of car $1000 of electronics love it🇦🇺
man she it’s starting with options I like that name is cool to great watch Bud 👍👋🇨🇦
Thanks Alan
👍" Grind Hard Kleeman", the boys would be proud. Luckily you had a de-splayer laying right there. (DP just now dropped the video where you cleaned out that field ditch, feels like a year ago.)
A little on the strange side but not bad for a basically free project. It will be interesting seeing what you use it for. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Chris
I guess we won’t see to many more utube videos, you’ll be in a big fancy office somewhere working for Chevrolet or ford with all that 4wheel steering and wiring technology lol , another great video captain
🤣🤣
This is ridiculous and unneeded but that's what makes it so much fun. 👍
🤣🤣
Just the right mix serious and silly. I like the boat rudder angle gauge for the rear steer.
Thanks!
That control panel you made starting to look like you're building yourself a airplane
Put a little woodie truck body on the back and this is cool !
Absolutely a classic!!!!
I wish I had an angle gauge when I was learning to tiller lol.
Man what a great project. Have to figure out how to get the start up there on the overhead. Great video thanks
Appreciate ya watching
Ya need to come up with some Fubar ru merch!
