4:55 so you are saying that 40 % of Serbian woman and 44 % of Serbian man smoke, which (according to you, my dear American mathematician) equals 84 percent of whole population??? Just to make this more complicated for you, using analogy- if 40 percent of woman smoke that means that 60 percent of woman doesn't smoke and 56 percent of man doesn't smoke. So, if we use your math and logic, that means that 116 percent of population doesn't smoke??? WOW just WOW

I was an exchange student to Serbia many moons ago! It’s actually a beautiful country, and the people are exactly as you described - so nice and accommodating. The breakfast pastry you had is called burek, and it comes filled with either cheese or meat. I don’t remember anyone eating it dipped in yogurt, but to each their own. LOL! Pljeskevica is very good too! The only time I ever smoked in my life was when I lived in Serbia! Having a cigarette and a Serbian coffee on a cold morning was the best when I was younger. Serbia was the first place I ever got drunk! Those Serbs know how to drink and have a good time! Id love to go back and visit one day. Thanks for sharing your experiences there! If thats ur first time coming, better chose summer coz winter can look really ugly in Belgrade, outside of bigger cities nature looks amazing at all seasons, but winter really ugly in urban areas.
We visited family in Serbia last summer and we are returning this summer. Love the people and the food. I crave the bread. Amazing people, scenery and history. Beautiful country. Beautiful people.
Thank you friend for kind words about Serbia but your math sucks :) If 40%/44% are woman/man smokers, thats not 84% of entire population :) Its 42% and I agree its a lot.
well, i'ts partially true... it would be true if males and females are 50/50 %, but in this case we would need to know ratio of male and female population... but yeah, it is not 84% in total for sure.
I just went to Serbia for the first time this January/February during the pandemic and it was awesome! Spent most of my time in Belgrade but was in Novi Sad as well! Rakija is delicious I honestly think I'm hooked but besides that the people were fantastic and friendly and the food was incredible! Can't wait to go back when there isn't a pandemic to really get a good feel for their culture!

10:29 shot of rakija followed up by a sip of beer is called "beton" -> "concrete" in Serbia, because if you do it a couple of times you will be hitting the concrete (floor) :D
Yes but the essential part is that you dip full shot of rakia into full glass of beer and drink it all together to the bottom. Coming from a true passion
@@DivertLiving Or u can do something else. Take a big glass of beer and one small glass of rakija, and put smole glass of rakija in big glass of beer and drink it. We call it ''podmornica'' witch mean - submarine.. Its concrete x2 :))))
Got to say this American is pretty fascinated by Serbia. It's beautiful. It is rich with history and culture. Great architecture. Food looks amazing. Maybe some day.
Belgrade (Serbia) is definitely on my bucket list. I don't speak Serbian but I do speak English (native), German (near native fluency) and Russian (high beginner). At least I can mostly read the Cyrillic lettering (though I do know there are a few differences with Russian).
Visit anytime , souther you go from Belgrade it gets cheaper . Its beautiful country. I must be honest whole balkan is great, also neighbouring countries Croatia , Bosnia , Montenegro, lovely countries.
Lived there almost 2 years waiting for my wife’s visa. We’re in Texas now but will go back soon as we can. We have multiple properties in Serbia and Croatia. Love being there. And, by the way, the women are beautiful
10/10 is perfect and thats not true, also 9/10 would not be true, but 8/10 would, and thats a decent high % So, its fair to say its safe, but we have an ugly political and social situation, and that can create trouble, in a personal or general way...
Dude, if it wasnt for this Covid shit, Belgrade would be buzzin! There are so much things to do/visit during the summer, it gets crazy :) Hope to see you soon :)
I loved this video! Thank you for portraying our country in such a beautiful way. Glad you liked it. Definitely visit it in the summer, that’s a whole different vibe. Whatttt, I am subscribed to you I had no idea you were Serbian!
Sane bro
It brought back a lot of fond memories!

I been to Serbia before Corona pandemic. Serbia is beautiful country and people are so nice .
Excellent choice of background music. Sometimes foreign visitors put contemporary serbian pop-meets-folk music in their YT videos about my country, Serbia, but you selected the real traditional Serbian sounds. That's probably research, I respect that. Very good visual skills, love your areals. Keep up the good work, you certainly have talent! 👍❤️
