Bureks in Serbia also vary greatly in texture, greasiness, taste and filling between pekaras. Karadjordjeva is not a refined sort of dish that could blow you away. If you like meat, it makes a good combination with kaymak and chips, and - that's it. Plus it's quite tender and juicy inside, and crispy on the outside. You like it if you feel like having it. The same holds true for chevapi, pleskaviza, prebranaz ... They are all popular foods. For more refined dishes, and more expensive, go to different sorts of restaurants. Like Ambar. Burek will be made by masters of nine bakeries in the park, including guests from Macedonia and Greece. A burek weighing about 100 kilograms, two meters in diameter, was made in Nis in 2007 and is considered the largest burek ever prepared, thus repeating the 1995 record from the Nis Buregdzijada entered in the Guinness Book of Records. Latecomer here! Dining in Serbia differs from that one in the west! Eating and drinking in Serbia is a slow motion ritual - "flirting with food...teasing...enjoying the aroma of the freshly prepared food" - unlike the western style of 'rushing it' to go back to work or being pressured by other patrons who are waiting for a table to open up!!!
At first u guys are so sweet and u have to try ajvar in the cevapcici sandwich with onion and try burek with cheese(orginal) and drink yoghurt u made this video so cool
Hart cookie is actually ment to give someone you love. Small mirror is glued to it so that person looking at it can see who is in your hart (who do you love). So it represents your hart and if you give it to your girlfriend she can see looking at the mirror who is in your hart. Obviosly her...So it wasnt suppost to be eaten...😂😂😂
The gibanica should be made at home, not in a bakery. What you ate is a lifeless dough for quick profit. If you are not at home, then eat gibanica in a 'kafana''- кафана.

Awesome vid. I'll be there in December. Keep up the dope vids, guys!
I can't believe you ate all that in one day 😂
😂😂😂😂😂
An excellent tour, loved watching it!
Looks a lot fancier than a 4x4. I am enjoying your tour and so happy for you.
Nothing beats sharing a 4x4 with you!! I really miss those days
Hey, "Karadjordjeva snicla" can be made in several ways. This one in the video is one of them, it can be filled with cheese, mushrooms ...btw you mostly guessed the way you pronounce the names, and that 400g of "cevaps" is a normal amount for one person :)
Best food👌can only say. You must try and enjoy it. It's perfect like a lot in Serbia 🇷🇸 Amazing land and people 💪
Big respect for trying to greet in Serbian! :D nice video!
thanks for this guys. I'm going to try these places when I go to Serbia this summer.
Very cool video dude(s).
I love watching tourists clips on on SRBIJA.
Yours is way up there.
Thanks for putting a smile on my dial.
Guys, there is a mirror on that heart. Well, you could try it but we dont eat it. It is a souvenir :)
Love Serbian food 😋
well come..
Thank you, it was a lovely video. And you guys are a lovely couple.
I'm glad because you visited Serbia and our capital Belgrade...but you must come to Novi Sad....beautiful city and the same good food...
Try Rasnici next time also real goed food. See hou ETA maken me hungry. At this moment we are in Paramaribo.Very different food. Keep up the good work.
Wow have fun in Suriname!! What’s your fave dish there??? And yes we’ll definitely have to try that when we go back to Serbia!
Pita bread in Serbian is Lepinja (lepeenya).14:30
Pekara Trpkovic, koliko sam samo kazni popila ispred nje! "Oko sokolovo"
Verujte mi da niste jedini. Ko tamo kaznu nije dobio, taj ili ne vozi ili ne zna gde je najbolja pekara :)
почти вся так называемая: традиционная, популярная кухня современной Европы, это славянский базар ...
Interesting tour, the hearts aren't ment to be eaten they're just a symbol of love or whatever! You can get them at most Xmas markets in Europe.😊 All the food looked very delicious.
go serbia!!!
Great tip guys!! 15:25 ....if the place has a lot of customers, it means they're serving good food 🍻 ....thank you for sharing your experience with Serbian street food. If you're into food trying we have many food fest celebrations all over Serbia during fall...you should check it out it's fun...
All of that food looks so delicious save some for me ha ha hey guys thanks for sharing with us😊
Yeah :D Not supposed to eat that cookie in the end hahah :D Great video, stay natural as you are in your future videos !
By the way i wouldn't eat those hearts..its more of a souvenir even though its a cookie. Great video 👍
Hahahaha we definitely regretted eating it immediately 😂😂😂they are so pretty though!
Hvala puno thanks for the vidéo 😊❤🇷🇸🇫🇷💙✨️
At first u guys are so sweet and u have to try ajvar in the cevapcici sandwich with onion and try burek with cheese(orginal) and drink yoghurt u made this video so cool
I loved the video guys, hope you can go back to Serbia, its a special country!
Every stranger eat at Trpkovic bakery
Sarma is so good, my grand mother did it every Time 🤤
The madame and I have the same dream 😂😍
Yet another great video!!
Thank you! 😁
lol "Incredibly caloric" made me laugh!
It's impossible to eat healthy on a food tour 😂
I love ur video, I'm going there in october!! greetings from Chile!!
Pekara was #1. You should try it with yoghurt next time. Even more delicious.
I'm Serbian all the food in Serbia is amazing
Hart cookie is actually ment to give someone you love. Small mirror is glued to it so that person looking at it can see who is in your hart (who do you love). So it represents your hart and if you give it to your girlfriend she can see looking at the mirror who is in your hart. Obviosly her...So it wasnt suppost to be eaten...😂😂😂
awesome video guys ,glad you liked cepavi :)
Hahaha yeah, we usually don't eat that heart cookie 😂
BTW finding Gibanica in the bakery is really really rare, because in 99.9% of cases it's only home made.
Very sweet and respectful tourists, come back in Serbia any time you want
Hey guys,
You really made me laugh……
Very entertaining.
And yes don’t eat Licidarsko srce biscuit.!!!!
Greetings from Serbian living in South Africa.
You would have to go to Nis to try the best possible Serbian food!
Burek is only made with ground beef. Everything else is a "pita" ("pie").
PS: its pronounced,
P-E-K-A-R-A (bakery) T R P - KO - VIČ
Massive reputation that joint!
It's so weird how good their Serbian pronuniciations are... It's almost like they are Serbs :O
Thanks so much ❤️🥺☺️
Serbia is great, i have been in Serbia a lot, it's because I was born here i live here whole my life. Cheers
Heaviest cuisine in Europe by a wide margin. Glad you enjoyed it but I am usually drowning in calories when eating out in Serbia.
God bless you too 👏Zivela Srbija 🌞💖🇷🇸👌👍Gruß aus Frankfurt
The gibanica should be made at home, not in a bakery. What you ate is a lifeless dough for quick profit. If you are not at home, then eat gibanica in a 'kafana''- кафана.
where is Jogurt
You actually tried the cookie xD , also loved the vid
Thanks so much for watching!!! ❤️❤️❤️but yes haha we did and it was not very good lol 😂🤪
