Hit By Hurricane Irma -LIVE FOOTAGE - Orlando - 10th & 11th September 2017

- On September 10th 2017 through September 11th 2017 we were hit by Hurricane Irma. We were her last stop before her eye collapsed & she was downgraded to a Tropical Storm. When she hit us she was a category 2 hurricane. We had winds up to 100mph & despite hundreds of thousands of people around Orlando losing power, we were amongst some of the few fortunate ones that did not. Sadly though, there was loss of life here in Orlando.

You may know that Hurricane Irma was the strongest ever recorded hurricane since records began, and the longest lasting category 5 ever recorded.
She was supposed to miss Orlando completely (although we would've felt some backlash from her) but she decided to change course & head directly for us at the last minute.
Here is around 9 hours of footage that I've managed to edit down for convenience. It is quite dark in a lot of this video so it doesn't quite reflect her sheer power, but I did the best I could :)
Please note that my channel is dedicated to gaming & therefore I do not normally upload videos like this one, this is an exception as it was perhaps a once in a lifetime event given Irma's uniqueness.

Everything went back to normal weather-wise next day. Cleaning crews were out at about 5am so when I went out at around 11am to film damage, there wasn't much to see. Lots of tree damage & roof damage but nothing too major.
Irma started at 8am on september 10th right.
We were all on lockdown early afternoon as ahe was approaching (very slowly) but it wasn't until pretty late at night that we got really hammered by her. As for specific times, it would depend where in the state someone resides. She was pretty massive though!
