So this was a very random idea that I got. I don't really know if it makes any sense at all, haha.
The point was that every man doubted these girls, saying that just because they were girls they couldn't rule. Sadly these men got what they wanted with Anne Boleyn and Mary Stuart, but just look at the others: The Victorian era, The Golden Age... and Elizabeth II who is the longest ruling monarch in the UK.
These queens were just as strong as any man or king, if not stronger.

Unfortunately one of Elizabeth II's tactic to ensure the continuation of the monarchy is by playing it safe when it comes to politics. She hasn't intervened in about 50 years, even as the EU took her sovereignty in the 90's - going against the vows of her coronation...
She's careful not to be too political, even though part of the constitutional role as head of state is to be political sometimes :/

What? Elizabeth of York never ruled, her depiction on the white princess is not accurate. Anne Boleyn never ruled, she was a tragic figure who's personality we do not fully understand. Mary, Queen of Scots was good natured but not strong enough to rule. Victoria and Elizabeth II have neither had much political power at all and were largely protected by the government, mere figure heads not strong rulers. Victoria would not have been a good ruler if actually in power, she went a few decades without hardly going out to the public. If you were being honest, none of the women here were strong or ruled. Tragic figures.

The only reason people said they shouldn't rule was because of their gender, the only reason people said they should rule was because of their parentage.

How is it that the powerful royals in UK were mostly women? Just look at Queen Elizabeth I, Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth II! They're all powerful leaders and more people know them unlike the kings before them. These queens had always raised the flag of women empowerment. That's why I look up to them. ❤

Victoria is known because of the Empire that was created during her reign. Elizabeth II is know for the length of her reign and she was the first to govern in the media age. They had limited power as England went to a Constitutional government about a century before Victoria was born. Elizabeth was powerful, but so were many of the Kings before and after her. None of them really raised the empowerment of women as besides them, not talking about the last 40 years, their entire government, military, overseas exploration, diplomats were men.

Mary Tudor was the first, she was well known for instoring religious peace within the country and be generous to her "children" (the people), her royal duties as a queen were so important to her that she never married because according to her, she was already married to her country. Elizabeth brought a level of prosperity that no king could have done before her. :)

i actually wonder if Lizzie really knew to whom she owed loyalty. She spent all her life doubting and that killed her, broken for the memory of her killed brothers, her cousin, her nephew...and the devotion to Arthur, her favorite son who died so young...really her life was not easy, so sorrounded of death and pain.
I like this portrayal of her, congratulations!
They are all Queens of England, from the Lancastrian Rose to the Matron of House Windsor-Mountbatten.
Taylor Smith I think it’s a White Yorkish rose not a Lancastrian if your talking about the blonde queen , she was a wife to king henry the 7th and the show is the white princess she married a Lancastrian but it’s not hers personally. She was the eldest daughter to a king who sons were believed to be murdered making her kinda his heir besides her dad died and her uncle usurped the thrown from her brother but in the show it’s different . If you haven’t watched it you should it’s pretty good but fast passes and misses some good historical details but good still , if you watch that I recommend watching the white queen to before that one actually cause the white princess is like is sequel or something.
But Mary Stuart never wears the English crown so *most* of them are Queens of England

No, she wasn't. She was a descendant of King Henry 7th yeah, but she wasn't in the official line of for the throne because of that. Besides that, the only reason anyone wanted her on the throne was because she was Catholic. And because Elizabeth had been named a bastard, but we all know by now that she was legitimate and an amazing Queen. I don't even think that Mary would have been a good ruler of two nations, she struggled with Scotland as it was but held on til her last breath. I think that she shouldn't have tried to stake a claim that would have ended in so much death and war anyway. Her own people didn't even feel like she was their Queen. How would a new nation feel about a new ruler from a country they have warred and despised for so long anyway.
I wished you included the movie series Elizabeth and Elizabeth:Golden Age. The actress playing Elizabeth the first is amazing
