Mary of Scots is descendent of Robert the Bruce, who took back his country from the English. I'm related directly to Robert's sister, Margaret the Bruce, not to be confused with Robert's daughter he named after Margaret. I'm pretty proud.

Robert the Bruce was also a bit of a bastard. He slaughtered non-combatants. And England only invaded Scotland due to Scottish border raids and the fact that Scotland was planning to invade England with France’s help.

@@jennak2312 It's confusing because Mary had conspirators that may have forged her signature. I don't know for sure if that's true. Elizabeth's council members forced Elizabeth to sign a warrant that said any conspirators would be executed, and Mary coincidentally was involved in a plot right after. Again, just speculation. Mary's portrait before her execution was a statement of her innocence, since she wore a symbolic necklace... phew XD
