The background story is that she wrote what she wished Biggie would have said to her...what she wanted to hear from him as they started having issues in their marriage. Also, one of Faith's biggest influences is Karen Clark Sheard of the legendary "Clark Sisters"...you can here A LOT of Karen in Faith ("You Brought the Sunshine" was a popular song of the sisters). Karen has a daughter named, Kierra Sheard ("You Don't Know" is a gospel banger).
If you really enjoy voices check our Vesta and her song "Congratulations" (this song crossed over and was allegedly about her relationship with actor Bruce Willis--when he suddenly married Demi Moore when they were supposed to still be seeing each other; or "Sweet Sweet Love" that's a RnB classic.
