Your videos are a great resource to Fuji users and will be missed. I've never noticed this issue but will look out for it. You're right to hold on to the X-T1 such as a great sensor.

OLED screens can be uncomfortable due to their brightness and use of pulse width modulation.

I use cameras with an EVF but I tend to mix it up with OVF cameras too. I have found over the last few years that just going EVF would leave me having much more blurred vision and tired eyes (I get my eyes tested regularly, so they are OK). My children had their eyes tested very recently and we warned by the optician that by sitting too close to a phone screen actually increases their chances of going blind in later life given how heavily they are used by people nowadays. They don't use screens often (although, they would want to!). But, it has made me think about the EVF which is only an inch away from my eyeball, not 8 inches or so when peering at an iPhone. I know that our eyes respond better to reflected rather than direct light as this is how it appears normally to us. An OVF is reflected light (therefore diffused) and an EVF direct.
