I finally signed up for a points earning card thanks to this channel. Now my husband and I are going on a bucket list vacation next year! Flights, rental car, and hotel are all 100% covered by our points! 🥳
Make a video on how to find villas like yours in Hawaiian and which should be the best options to book this kind of villa rather than branded hotels and villa 🎉🎉🎉❤
Great video, gorgeous locations. I always feel a bit hard done by living in the UK, the card options and sign up bonuses are so rubbish compared to the US 😢
I have about 500,000 capital one points trying to book my honeymoon in Hawaii. Unfortunately we don’t spend enough to open another card and I’m disappointed that we chose capital one in 2020 rather than chase because we feel limited to only booking flights and they aren’t even that much of the cost. Our plan is to book flights through a transfer partner, book a Waikiki hotel on the capital one travel portal for 4 nights (I know it’s not the best option but I’d rather use them than not), and then pay out of pocket for a resort in Maui.
So much great information! I have had some Hilton credit cards in the past and then closed them. When I try to sign up again (years later) they won't give another welcome bonus... once a card even told me I had their card previously (but I didn't) . How can I get around this and get another welcome bonus?
Hey Susan, Hilton cards are offered by American Express, and American Express sadly has a rule where when you've applied to a card before you are no longer eligible to get a sign-up bonus for it in the future. It's their "once per lifetime rule." Some say it may fall off after 7 or so years and you can get the bonus again, but that's not guaranteed. A way around it would be if you're targeted for a sign-up bonus for that card, like you get an advertisement in the mail for that card, or in your American Express offers account if you have an AMEX account still. Sometimes you'll see blogs advertise a credit card offer with "no lifetime language," meaning you can typically get a bonus a second time if you sign-up for that offer. It's overall pretty random though in terms of finding those opportunities.
If you're staying at a Hilton or Marriott, and stay 5 nights and pay for the entire stay using points, you'll get the fifth night free. Using free night certificates don't count though.
Love u Brandon but ur talking way to fast for me to comprehend all the points and stays I’ve had to rewind it like 5 times at different points of the video. Wish u would have shown more of the resort u stayed in since they are offering a discount also the few pics u showed went by so fast. Thanks for sharing the information
