From recent star wars media disney seems to be learning as they made the E-wing canon and appear in the ahsoka series and we may even get a New republic vs Thrawn's empire conflict again but that remains to be seen. Andor, rebels, rogue one and the madalorian (not season 3) were also quite good in my opinion.

Kanan is literally a copy of Rahm Kota, Ahsoka fights Vader reverse-wielding two Lightsabers like Starkiller, and the logo of the Rebellion is not the Marek family logo anymore. I loved the separatists. They were always my favorite. They all just had an upper class feel in everything they did. The way they styled their ships, their style confederated political feeling. Usually the really wealthy have large armies. The political party class with their blue against the republic’s red. And then the crown jewel being Count Dooku (Ser Christopher Lee) and the republic was the perfect rival too.
There should be Old Republic era with such legendary characters such Revan, Darth Nihilus, Darth Malgus, Dath Visate/Valkorion with Zaakul Empire, greate Old Republic and Sith Empire, Mandolore Clans with Mandolore Great (That gigachad, who nearly destroyed Republic but stopped by Revan himself)

Delta Squad was replaced by the bad batch,. Delta Squad had a lot of stories, Sev, order 66, imperial commandoes, hunting Jedi etc. while in canon all those stories don't exist anymore. I never implied that the bad batch were bad characters but they seem inferior compared to delta squad.

Delta Squad shows up in ONE SCENE in TCW. They functionally are not canon as they've not been used in any meaningful way. Scorch showing up in Bad Batch could've been literally any Commando given he only has the armour and none of the character. Bad Batch is a sad copy and repetition of the same story Filoni always tells since TCW: young special character taken in by an adoptive family/parent figure and fighting the Empire in a fairly light upbeat cartoony romp through the galaxy. All we ever get now are EU stories and concepts stripped of all depth and character, then repackaged as something new. Andor is the exception that proves the rule.
@@LordVader1094 I don't think the similarities in concept are really that big of a deal. Although the sound similar Omega is a different character from Ahsoka and The Batch seems to have more similarities with the A team than with Delta Squad or anything. The focus of the show also seems to be different from both TCW and the Delta Squad, while both TCW and the Dealta Squad focuses on the clone wars, either through it's effects in general or how it affects the lives of the characters, the Bad Batch is more centered on the early Dark Times, so it has more in common with Dark Horse's Star Wars: Dark Times with the main difference being that one is about how to adapt to the new environment while the other centers more on surviving it.

I really enjoy the mythicism the post-episode 6 art has in legends.
That's because original star wars was a space fantasy filled with mysticism, not until prequels turned it into sci-fi.

Bad Batch is a sad copy and repetition of the same story Filoni always tells since TCW: young special character taken in by an adoptive family/parent figure and fighting the Empire in a fairly light upbeat cartoony romp through the galaxy.
All we ever get now are EU stories and concepts stripped of all depth and character, then repackaged as something new. Andor is the exception that proves the rule.

@@LordVader1094 I don't think the similarities in concept are really that big of a deal. Although the sound similar Omega is a different character from Ahsoka and The Batch seems to have more similarities with the A team than with Delta Squad or anything. The focus of the show also seems to be different from both TCW and the Delta Squad, while both TCW and the Dealta Squad focuses on the clone wars, either through it's effects in general or how it affects the lives of the characters, the Bad Batch is more centered on the early Dark Times, so it has more in common with Dark Horse's Star Wars: Dark Times with the main difference being that one is about how to adapt to the new environment while the other centers more on surviving it.
