The sepratist alliance is like parts of the empire to me, you start to love them and their stories more than the black and white, the true tragedy was the branding and merciless killings of their leaders, many of whom joined not for profit but for their people. Trench, Krell and others resonate with me, the same way the storm troopers of the empire who joined out of loyalty to a regime that showed order, the evilness wasn't as plain to see and for some worlds that suffered from insurgents they were seen as peacekeepers. I also love the riot scene in this show..for once the empire behaved realistically..no it's not mustache twirling evil and it doesn't immediately start massacring people.. it keeps responding with non lethal force until it becomes to much and they resort to lethal force.. this is exactly how many massacres happen irl when it comes to strikes or protests .

One of the best edits I’ve ever seen. I love seeing the empire as a competent military and not just cocky and incapable. Of course governments and military’s make mistakes, that’s how Star Wars should show the empire. Disney just wants to keep Star Wars in a sort of understanding for children and have them tripping over their own feet every second. Rouge one and Andor are exactly what everyone wants to see the empire as.
