I truly liked this video because the sales rep explained everything in detail to the customer. This what is expected by every prospective buyer. I have seen the sales guys in India and in the gulf standing aside and letting the customer do his own assessment which is very unprofessional way to deliver the product to the buyer. Congrats to you both on the purchase of this SUV. I'm waiting for it's arrival in India. Thank you and all the best and safe rides.
Hey.. So now that the atto3 is fully released in india along with the price announcement. Are you looking buy the car? What do you feel of the pricing.
Man... I REALLY want this car!!! Some new feature I didn't know about in the video! Real cool that they include the sd card, 2gb plan and will send an adapter for reverse charging!!!!
Nice video and great choice in the colour. Do they have cooled front seats? I am also in NZ and look forward to more cars from BYD, and more videos from you.
Congratulations on your new car! I'm not a fan of that interior at all trying to be a jet or something but it's bang for your buck and shows Tesla they can compete even though they are in business together with their batteries etc. Also I think the seal 3 looks damn impressive over the atto 3 but yer practicality and all that depends on what you need again performance and mileage for an ev it's really good renenver the longer you wait the cheaper batteries and production costs, it would be best to wait and ponder what the resale value might be in 4-5 yrs but short term can't beat that price/value with everyone jumping in for a piece of that pie!
Congrats on the new BYD and the informative video. Great to see the Sales guy give a detailed handover. Looking forward to see future videos on comparison with the ZS EV. We're hoping to also do a few once these finally got Australian roads. Cheers 👍⚡☀️🔋
Looks like an awesome car. Thanks for the video. Congrats. I love the exterior and features. Not in love with the interior styling. But have to give credit for creative design rather than making something generic or a copy
Great video. Does it come with any documentation? Such as a LogBook and warranty documentation? Also what happens with the SIM card after the 2 years? Can it be renewed. I believe that the BYD App is linked via the SIM
I love this car. But I've just seen a video from the electric Viking and he was saying people have been messed about with the warranty of this car in Australia. I'm in the UK and hope they don't do this when they hopefully come to the UK. Have you been told about the warranty issue in New Zealand??
@@view_360_Andrew I had thought that. So New Zealand hasn't had any issues with warranty from BYD? Can you tell me what you get warranty wise as I'm hoping to get one when it comes to the UK. And do you like it so far?
@@g0fum Sorry, I am in Australia rather than New Zealand, then I am not sure about the policy in NZ, but I heard about that Australia's status about BYD is somehow unique compared with other countries. I have entered into the demo car in Brisbane, as for my personal point of view, the interior looks more premium than what saw in video, but the interior space is a little bit limited for me whose height is183cm. Considering that my previous cars including BenzGL and Prius are spacious interiorly compared with Atto 3, I am hesistated about whether to buy it currently. Anyway used as a commuting vehicle, it would be fully qualified especially in UK where the mileage requirement is not so intensive VS Australia
@@view_360_Andrew AHH I see. Yeah I think with the fact the Atto3 being bigger and more spacious than our current ice vehicle it will do the job easily. I'm still looking and researching our first electric vehicle as we do need at least 300 miles minimum for us to be able to do our trips to see family and friends who live on the other side of the country. But for every day mileage it would be fine for a 250 miles.
@@g0fum Maybe the next generation of BYD sealion is more fit for you considering the mileage you expetected. By the way, just remind that some people remark all EV vehicles including BYD and Tesla will consume more electricity running at the speed 100 KM/H or above than driving in urban. Thus the mileage will reach only around 60% of the claimed mileage if the trip is all in highway.
Looks like every car there was that colour. A very interesting hue. This was awesome to war h. The joy I felt watching her sit inside the new car. So awesome. Oh! And congratulations from Zimbabwe. BYD here only sells the E6 😭.
I'm from China. I didn't know there was such an unreasonable clause until I read the comments. I think the warranty fee of 3100 Australian dollars is really terrible! There is really no such unreasonable warranty clause in China. It seems that BYD should change its distributor in Australia, otherwise it will really affect the sales volume and BYD's image.
Yes they can change distributor though BYD signed off on it which is disappointing, this should have been sorted out a LONG time ago.. I think what is more concerning than the servicing costs is the caveats on the warranty, no other manufacturer ever has anything like that. I agree with you, BYD should fix it ASAP.
Not a single return to the dealership other than for a software update and towbar fitment. At 15,000km it has no rattles... can't say the same for the Mercedes of a similar age I am currently testing!
Just out of interest what are the warranty terms and conditions, I heard BYD Australia dealership is charging $3.5k for warranty compliance with full service period?
@@EVsBeyond Versus about $600 capped price servicing on a new Toyota, or five years free servicing from Mazda. Considering EVs have almost no frequent servicing requirements, besides visual checks and software updates, it sounds like owners are being taken for a ride.

There is alot, and I really mean alot, of groaning accross the Tasmin regarding the fees charged for servicing the car over its life. The fees are less than what Im paying to service my ICE car but punters in Australia are expecting no servicing and no servicing fees.
If you compare it to all the other evs in the market it's quite ridiculously overpriced plus back-pedalling on the original 7 years unlimited ks warranty makes it seem like a dodgy operation
