This was one of my very favourite tunes, 400 club in Torquay danced most of the night to jazz funk and now an old fart and resent getting old , this transports me back to those halcyon days
Now 66 still got the 7 inch single. Funky tune.
One of the greatest instrumental disco songs of all time
The begining of Disco Music 👏 Produced by Don Ray wowwwwww
Very excellent club hit. Also part of this was sampled by S-Express for Theme From S-Express 30 years ago.

Greater NYC/Newark Club Scene..1974..This might be older than 1974
74 is correct I found it around 79 thanks to my unkles 🤫😳🤩🎧
You're listening to DJ Timmy T and WBLS 107*5 in Stereo in NYC 🎧
@@timmytene2706 That's where I first heard it.
This is a classic but PLEASE somebody - upload the B-side of this one - Californian Summer - a gorgeously languid trumpet-led instrumental that is very Herb Alpert. It's never been shared on RUclips and neither do any MP3s exist of this!!!

THANK YOU so much Toby, you're a star! Just clocked it earlier whilst doing another hopeful search and was gobsmacked to see it turn up.....and I also put a comment on there saying my prayers appear to have been answered ! I mean, it's a beautiful tune and so redolent of that long hot 1976 summer when I was a kid :)
Brill great 70s
