    I’ve been watching all these videos you guys have and I’m pretty excited to get it and see how they run.
    You guys have done a great job with your RUclips channel.
    It’s very informative and gives me, as a customer, confidence.
    I’m sending back the others welder and plasma cutter and giving this a shot.
    Tired of headaches and don’t have the funds to get a blue machine.
    Can’t wait to

    Great video. I just got my 155GD. No problems setting it up with the flux core that came with the machine. I never used a mig welder before so I am learning.

      @@Chandlerlukert Really was this a new machine!? The MIG155 does not come with TIG equipment however it should include a spool of wire. If not we would be happy to send one.

    Great explanation for troubleshooting. Maybe a tip on adjusting proper tension on the spool and proper tension on the wire would be helpful for some.

    Rewatched ...had my drive roller wrong for solid wire, now I know the gnurled side is for flux core 😊

      Make sure you are also using the correct groove size (0.8mm = .030", 0.9mm = .035")

    Do I have to replace the mig liner if I go up in wire size? I bought my first mig welder. The MIG welder is currently set up for solid wire 0.6. I want to do flux core .9. I have a 0.9 tip and the .9 feeder wheel. Do I need to increase the size of the MIG wire liner, or does the migliner just come in one size? What liner size/type should I use for a flux/core .9 (.035) wire?

    • @nickcampbell3212
      @nickcampbell3212 Год назад

      MIG liners have a listed range of sizes. The liner in your gun, whether your machine is one of our 200 amp or 155 amp machines, will work fine for .035" diameter wire.

    I have a Weldpro Spool Gun 10' for Weldpro MIG200GDsv 200 amp MIG welder and MIG155GD removable torch welder. When I'm finished welding and my hand is off the trigger , the wire still comes out about 4 inches then it stops. But when i am not welding and I test the spool gun by pressing the trigger off and on it works fine . What do you think may be the problem ?

    I have a mig 140 from longevity im running it on 110v with flux core wire i have everything set up right when i turn it on it runs smooth then seems like once its warmed up it starts to pulse weld i went to a thicker gauge extension cord and still the same problem i also changed the ground clamp. Should i just set it up for 220v

      What is the "rated" output and duty cycle of the rated output on 110V on your machine? And what is the length/gauge extension cord you are using?

    This is way off topic, but I never think of it when I should. What in the heck is up with the cloth bags that come with welding helmets? How in the heck can you use one? Why isn't it just a bag, something like a WalMart sack, but made out of anti scratch cloth. Instead they come with some parachute that cord comes out of 8 times on 3 sides and they get snagged on EVERYTHING that's on the helmet. WHO in the heck thought these were a good idea? What am I doing wrong???

      @WeldproWeldingEquipment  3 года назад +1

      haha that's a great point. I think its just to keep the scratches off initially but mostly worthless for any other application! :)

    I’m having feeding issues with the mig155gsv. Is a 2 pound spoil of 035 mug wire too much for it to handle?
    Also, the wire speed knob doesn’t seem to change the wire speed. Also, it goes at one speed for about 5 seconds, then speeds up really fast.
    I just got it and haven’t tried to wed with it. Everything else seems fine. Gas nozzle works well.

    My issue is a blocked liner; I cannot get wire through it. It somehow became blocked while sitting on the shelf with nothing in it.

      Liners are cheap. Remove it and replace it with a new one.

    It's more difficult to troubleshoot manufacturing defects. Tooliom falls into that category.
