I just got this welder. Set it up. Tried it and nothing. The cold wire feed button works but it does not feed or try to feed when I press the trigger. The wire is routed correctly. The fan spins and lights come on. When I cold feed a lot of wire and then press the trigger I can melt the protruding wire so that tells me the trigger is working just the signal is not getting to the wire feed part of it. I want to open this up and find the issue but also maybe I just return it. Not sure what’s less issue.
i had a problem with .035 wire not feeding. i put the .030 on and it started working as it should. anyone else had this problem ? the cold feeder works fine
Did the boy get loose with another bag of marshmallows?
Indeed he did. He was trying to weld 1/4" plates together with 0.023 wire.

I'd definitely take it back and swap it in that case.
You ever figure it out my cold feed works but trigger doing nothing
Voltage too high or wire feed to slow.

Did you put an .035 tip on? The tip it comes with it for .030. The .035 will not fit though the .030 tip.
