What I like about your channel is that there is natural sounds in the video. No music of any kind or any other sound that blocks the actual sounds. It let's you feel what is being cooked and enjoy the video.
There is something just so calming and soothing watching these food prep videos. And of course they give a hellacious appetite. I can't make it half way thru one of these without heading to the kitchen.
My Japanese mother owned her own restaurant. I lost her 13 years ago. She took all of her recipes with her when a brain aneurysm took her from us in a blink. Her food was how she expressed love. She grew up in war torn Japan; a poor and starving child. She'd tell me about her hunger pains and watching her emaciated mother give up her portions so she could have just a little bit more. Feeding people and having them leave her full and happy was her act of kindness. God, I miss her.
To eat a dish takes maybe 15-20 mins. But the kind of effort that goes into preparing it is mind boggling. And the cooks make cooking look artistic too.
I just had breakfast but now I’m hungry again. I love rice and eggs. Restaurant workers just don’t get enough credit for how hard they work. A simple looking dish can be both complex and time consuming.
The most satisfying of the video is seeing them: Getting ready, preparing, chopping & mixing ingredients in progress, starts cooking and serving the costumers 🥢
Amazing to see how these guys work - without ridiculous music or poor commentary - thanks! I've been watching these types of videos for a while now, picking up tricks and tips along the way, working on my wok skills and I doubt whether I'll even have to go to a restaurant again! I grew up in a restaurant family and I remember learning how to make gyoza, wontons, egg rolls, tempura, ramen broth, fried rice, and other dishes. So glad I did because it made me appreciate the work done in the kitchen, especially if it's family run. These are great behind the scene videos of food prep and cooking skills that they have, so keep them coming. Only problem is that it just makes you hungry watching these vids. I always have to run to the kitchen and see what I have so that I can make these dishes. I've made so many versions of fried rice that my wife is tired of it. I'm half Asian so it's in my blood. 😅 Time to go make some gyoza now.
The difference between Japanese street food and Indian is like heaven and earth. Not so much the food (which is massive too), but the cleanliness and order. Everything looks so appetizing here, it's almost insane.
One of my favorite. As children we lived in Fukuoka, we would routinely go to the Ginza and get a big bowl to share for less than $1USD. She's making Gyoza too. So good.😋
Of course I’m Hungry now. It all looks great. Watching people cook is relaxing, but then I want to do it myself. Thank you for showing us how you cook.
That wok is huge and full of rice, I don't know how he's casually holding it with one hand pouring the rice out. Also, how is that metal handle not crazy hot, I usually see it wrapped in a towel. Last thing, I love how they'll use the ladle to grab whatever they need: broth, sauce, a pinch of sugar...
Excellent video. There's something soothing about watching an expert at their craft, and when the expert is making food, it's even soothinger! Also, that man was working very hard to produce those prodigious amounts of different foods. I was trying to make my own dinner while watching and I had to keep stopping to see how he did certain things. Oh! And everything looked delicious.
This channel is just amazing, the skill, quickness, and professionalism of these people preparing the food on mass and the sound and video, all I can say in one word is, kudos
Some of best foods I've had have been so-called street food and food trucks. That's in the US and South Korea. Whenever you visit another country you'll most likely find its best foods in mom & pop restaurants and street vendors.
The shop sign actually says “Chinese food”. The frying technique with the round spatula is typical chinese style. The cooked rice if left overnight and fried the next day will be even nicer 😊
there's some new things i saw in this video that i didnt know, the cabbage squeeze water thing, the rice toss technique using the wok and ladle is superb too. the dumplings looks so good.
