LOL I need the sun shade!!! sorry New to your channel! may I suggest for the wife to push for a tankless water heater( she did say she has thick hair) My wife has very long hair and just Loves not running out of hot water( me to I always go second and I get cold showers) :) 12 volt compressor fridge??? more fridge in about the same space! we love ours OLD fridge died and got 4 more cubic feet and its way better at holding the temps. Get the max fans! with the covers or the new new one with auto covers! so worth the money and being able to keep it open in the rain to help vent moisture. Last but not least! go crazy and do a full house inverter! This is the most expensive of my RV mods! and totally not needed( sold the idea to my wife and she approved the project! Now her drip coffee maker works when boondocking). :) All in all I look at my trailer as a canvas for projects to keep me busy! (no I am not rich) I do all my own work (electrical background and mechanic)
Some great ideas! Weirdly we’ve never run out of hot water when it comes to showers (and trust me laurence likes his long hot showers lol) looking forward to ordering some Max fans!!
You both make me laugh. The upgrades look are great. Love the MoRyde steps they are way better then the ones you walk up when you go look at Rvs. Those are so flimsy. I remember you doing a video on your toilet. I like that cover that looks like a tent. Those are nice. Can’t wait until I see your next upgrade. I was laughing at you both about the washer and dryer. Soo funny! It’s getting closer to our meet up! Yeah! Hope you have a great night and week and see you soon!
Hi Brits! Thanks for the upgrade video. I took your advice and went to TechnoRV and ordered the GasStop valves. We really enjoy your channel. Safe travels!
Cool upgrade ideas! Thanks for sharing. Natalie, hold tight to your washer/dryer/dishwasher dreams, dreams do come true and Lawrence, if Natalie isn’t happy, you won’t be happy! 🙏🏻🖖🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great idea on upgrades! We are definitely trying the sun screen, I think it will make a difference. I just love watching you two, so funny. Love Natalie ♥️ Laurence too.
Natalie this one is for you. Our best upgrade was a washer dryer combo. It is nice washing your clothes and not having to worry about what kind of funk the person (s) ahead of you had.
That is precisely my concern. I’ve never been to a nice campsite laundry facility or laundromat & we’ve had situations where people have washed dog beds etc before us and it’s just gross 🤢
Nice upgrades . We have 2 of the sunshades and your right they are wonderful , it really has made a awesome shady spot for our fur babies to outside with us more .. I have been trying to talk my husband into getting snap pads but he keeps resisting lol . We just ordered our Star link and am so excited and can't wait for it to arrive . Srat well and Travel safe .
This was interesting. As you checked off the mods you've made, it dawned on me that our mods paralleled yours. While I love our pepwave router (aside from the recent AT&T card snafu), StarLink is legit. I implemented it over the weekend at our house and it smokes what the pepwave could do. Some of this is situational (bad cell service, wide open sky and we are accustom to horrendous internet...), but SL is worth looking at. We are keeping our Pepwave, but have switched sims to a prepaid 100gb card that is our 'backup' and is what we will use when we are on the road. What kinda surprised me is that one of the future updates isn't a panel or two - nothing crazy, just sufficient to keep the BB topped off without the gene.
@@BrazenBrits Yeah, I've seen the mixed comments also. My observation is that alot of the negativity comes from situations where the sky is obstructed, resulting in poorer performance. This is why it looks to be a good fit at our house - to the point that we are looking at dumping our Direct TV service. I think SL could work on the road if you weren't going to inherently woody areas, like alot of national parks, the PNW, California, the eastern seaboard, CO, MN, MO, AR.... so come to KS!
Guys! This is a great summation of what you did to your rig!!! Thanks to you guys, we too did several of these! Thank you!! We’re surprised that you haven’t done a Smartplug yet, LED on the exterior lights or gone a total 12volt with the fridge! But you guys point out a lot that are easily overlooked and underestimated that make a HUGE impact for those wanting to upgrade! Thanks for the ideas!
Hey Andrew 👋 you bring up a great point that we didn’t really touch on in this video. If money was unlimited, we would have a seriously fancy rig, with upgrades not even invented yet 🤣, but in reality, we are actually very picky with the upgrades that we choose. We talk about what we need/choose and how that makes our life better. For example, should we spend $4k on a full lithium battery setup, or spend that money exploring 3600 miles off historic Route 66. It’s a no brainer for us. Sure, we would LOVE the lithium setup, it would allow us a lot of cool experiences over the next few years, but we will work up to that. part of the fun of RVing is figuring out your style, what’s important to you and then spend your money wisely to make that stuff happen. It’s all personal preference. Sorry for the essay 🤣 thanks for watching Andrew, we 100% appreciate you 🙏
@@BrazenBrits Totally agree on picking and choosing the upgrades that will make the experience better and being strategic on where to spend money - i.e. experiences or on stuff! The two upgrades that we're looking at is MARcell temp monitoring for our pups and either the Pepwave or Starlink for reliable connectivity. but if you have a smart thermostat and reliable connectivity, that is plugged into an UPS system, then maybe the MARcell isn't necessary and just another monthly expense(?). Great ideas!
Can your smart things switch on Natalie's washer dryer and dishwasher while she has a glass of wine and relax. And you Laurence can play with your toys . HEE hee
Hi Briar, we 100% respect each other which is why we joke around like this. There is no disrespect intended. We certainly wouldn't do this during a serious discussion, but in this case, we were just playing around. Maybe it's just our strange British sense of humor?
I like the sound of an RV soft serve, AC and Ice Cream all in one!🤣
Right?! I feel they should just change their name at this point 🤷♂️🤣
You guys crack me up. You need some solar on that bad boy! I'll come install it for ya. I've only burned down one trailer with my installs. 😂
🤣🤣 so like a 50/50 chance??
@@BrazenBrits Exactly. It’ll be fiiiiine. 👀
Those are all great upgrades! Maybe Natalie can put her dishwasher in your office 😉😂. Lol. Great Video guys!
I’m loving this idea Dean 🤣 - Natalie
Another good video. And yes, most of your upgrades are not needed day one, but definitely enhance the camping experience. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Kevin! Appreciate it ☺️
Definitely a few new things since I went with Larry to pic up the rig 😂
😎
Thank you for showing easy mods anyone can do. You guys are hilarious and helpful. The best kind of people.
Thanks guys 😁

We have the exact same trailer as you guys. It came with Westlake ( aka China bombs) tires. Be glad those were replaced.
Good to know!
Great video, thank for sharing your upgrades. Maybe there is some extra closet space in the office so the washer/dryer can move in? 😉
Now you’re talking Robyn!!! 😆😆
Can’t wait to do upgrades when we get on the road 🤙🏽🌺
It’s fun working out what will make some life improvements

Awesome and thank you for letting us know about the new discount codes! 🙌
Guys we would love for you to revisit the Houston area.
We shall give Houston another chance 😁. I believe we may be in the Texas area later this year.

Nice upgrades

Thanks Reina 🥰 yeah the sunshade was such an improvement in just having a little privacy whilst being able to relax outside
Thanks for the ideas!

Auto Level a big plus
For sure! We’d love that
Need to upgrade the shower door!
Any suggestions?
