I have a 3200 and a eu3000 bought both used at great deals.. Called Honda about running parallel but they said No. I thought they would as they are close in output. So this experiment is very Interesting to me.. Nice Job! Am going to consider it

Seems like dual 3200’s would be the best move. Then you have redundancy if one fails and you can limp by with one to get through the trip. Also a lot easier for one person to move than the big 150lb EU3000i.

Would be cool to know if you could parallel with an EcoFlow. I know they don’t have the connections but I remember my generac IQ2000’s used plugs for their kit.
Unfortunately no, ECOFLOW doesn’t really connect much with anything other than ECOFLOW
The funny thing is I bought a Westinghouse 4500 dual fuel a few years back because it was a great deal at like 950 bucks on sale thinking that when we started using a travel trailer that we would need the power but it turns out we don’t even use half of what it can produce, so I’m thinking about getting a Delta pro and a small generator. That’s easier to lug around. After all that ranting my question is do you think that just a cheaper 1500 or 2000 W generator would be viable if I purchased a Delta pro or should I purchase the Eco flow fuel model
Yes a small gen could then be used for sure to recharge delta pro. But it would put it in pass through mode when charging but it can still handle up to 1800 watts which is still one ac but that’s about it.
One nice nice for sure with the smart generator from ECOFLOW is the full connectivity. You don’t worry about when to turn on or off or anything really. It’s plug and play. It really is a pretty cool setup.
Now it is a little louder then some units, not horrible but won’t be quiet like a large unit or a Honda but then again it will only run long enough to charge up for what ya need then shut off.
Verses some people run a small generator just to watch tv…😑
I have the 2200 honda that I use with my 30amp trailer. Have you ever experimented with an adapter that would plug into both of the 15amp plugs then connect to a tt-30r plug? Would that be any better than the adapter that only connects to one of the 15 amps plugs?
You only get 1800 watts no matter what. You don’t get more out of two plugs as that pair of plugs are supplied by the same wire.
So one plug does the same as two.
The only better connection is the companion unit.
@@johnnysweekends I've pulled 2100 watts from the gen for an extended period while on propane. 😲😁 But that's not what I asked
@MikeJordanUnCamplicated yes Hondas can pull max 2200 watts for a extended period of time. That can be 0-20 mins depending on conditions and more.
But I see what your saying now and yea some adapters can kind of work there way out or not seat great. So I try to find a 15amp to 30ttr with a pigtail.
They do much better.
But don’t think I have seen a dual 15 to 30ttr

Will operating these generators in this way damage them in the long run?
Not from what I have read and also what others have been doing for a long time.
If you have a soft start, there is absolutely no need to switch to eco mode. Try it & you'll see.
Not always, depending on size of unit, generator size and heat and altitude it still most times will need eco off.
With eco off the gen will not start both ac units. It kicks off. It’s a little sensitive it seems
