    Looks simple off the bike! Not sure he have the same manoeuvrability on the bike

      It's easier in one way because the chain is being held by the sprockets but there is definitely less room than doing it freehand on the bench. Good luck if you try it.

    I see no benefit of this over a single tool that will remove and install.

      I do agree however, a decent branded chain tool that does all the different style links and sizes is considerably more expensive than the AFAM tool. Also some of the cheaper G clamp style tools are cheap copies and break before even riveting one link. This tool did actually do a nice job of the hollow rivets.
      If you only have 1 bike and not likely to be doing lots of different chains, or in my case I purchased the DID hollow chain link and AFAM tool for about £30 combined, see Amazon links in the description, then its not a bad investment.
