its not every car, but it does help to bounce the car (physically) after replacing the shocks to "set" them. if the shocks have been sitting for a minute, they might need to be exercised before driving. sometimes, not all the time, you might hear a loud pop/click when you do the exercise or while you place the weight back on the vehicle. this is perfectly normal.

do you have to worry about camber or wheel alignment after installation?

Be more specific on size sockets.. and the sway bar link uses a center star key, as to not damage the rubber on the back

Top screw for the sway bar link in the beginning you said 17mm socket and at the end you said 18 mm . Also when ordering parts is best to replace the screws aswell?
So is it a 17 mm or 18 mm for the sway bar, cause you said 17mm in the beginning and said 18mm at the end of the video..???

what penetrating oil did you use?
Is it necessary to put loctite on screws when installing the front struts?
+Basement31 No, you do not need to put loctite on those screws, just torque them down to spec.

Do the struts come as one piece from you're site or will I need a spring compressor
+Matt Pate Some struts we carry are strut and spring assemblies and some are not. The photos and descriptions will indicate which are which.
This setup is called a Quick Strut, it is all one piece for easy disassembly and installation. The spring is already under proper load so you do not need to compress anything.
where's the part where you replaced or fixed or repaired the actual strut...not just painted the old one and put it back in....

cant afford struts 😐
If you search online, you can find complete strut assemblies for $120-175 a piece which beats paying for the pieces individually.
Doing my 05 tonight, found a new pair on Amazon for $128 free delivery.
How did the Amazon ones work for you? Was thinking g about getting those since they are so cheap.
You can do this at home, but you need to go to a mechanic anyway after to do an alignment
