Very Cool, Thankyou Jonny. Wow. Awesome sounding Pedal. I don't play as much acoustic as I used to, but I think I need one of these. All the Best. Cheers
Great review and really helpful for me as I gig as a solo acoustic act. I'm using a NUX Stageman Floor on my gig board just now, but I'm thinking of getting one of these as a backup, sounds great and seems decently built.
Hi Jonny, it's a nice piece of kit and certainly made that budget acoustic guitar sound like something that cost a whole lot more but I do think it's a bit of a missed opportunity for Sonicake here. An onboard chorus would have been good, specially if you were plugging a 12 string into it and a little delay would have been great for fingerstyle players too. I suppose they're working to a budget to keep it at a good price so maybe we'll see a Mk2 model come to the market in a year or two with a few more bells and whistles.
I am surprised too. Admittedly I did upload it on a Tuesday and at around 1pm.....I thought it was that reason, but hardly anyone is watching tonight's upload either.
a good DI like that is the acoustic equivalent of a tube amp for electric...an acoustic rig is just easier to get into, being all the varied pedal board options seem less necessary.
I think that's due to the mic audio in the pedal section being picked up.....or my playing.....acoustic strings take so much for my fingers to hold down.
Don't forget the Thumbs up
Sounds good. Sonicake are really becoming a force in the Budget pedal market.
I agree

I like it, it makes the Budget acoustic a lot better

Excellent. They are well built, and I like the no nonsense approach with them. Nothing extra, just exactly what an Acoustic player needs.

Another informative video
Cheers mate
Cool 🤘
Sonicake Matribox now the A factory both great products certainly upping their game!🙂
I agree mate. They definitely have gone up in my estimations
Surprised so few views on this. I enjoyed the review and would be interested to see how it would compare to using just an eq pedal on the acoustic.

Well said!
That certainly improved the sound.
The guitar sounds a bit buzzy, how about a setup video? Or budget mods (saddle, nut)

@@BudgetGuitarShow have you thought of trying silk and steel strings ? Bit easier on the fingers.
@@martinsmith3555 I must look into those. I will be lowering the bridge on the guitar tomorrow.
