When it comes to warm season turf there is not much that can compete with it. Pricey but worth every penny. 👍🏻

Another Great Informative Video! Congratulations on your 1000 Subscribers! Can't wait to see a follow-up video of how your lawn regrows after the hard cut.
Cal Trimmer is coming out with an EV model in 2024. They're working to keep up with the incredible demand for their gas mowers. Perhaps that's why it's Number 1 on your best mower list!

That’s awesome. I’m sure we will see a lot more electric. Can wait to see what they do as cal trimmer has a great platform to start 👍🏻. I appreciate the support and will keep everyone updated on the update to the hard cut 💪🏼

I can not wait until Labor Day. I’ll be pre ordering mine. My wife just rolls her eyes. I’ll be running out of room for my GM800 and Cali Trimmer…

Luv them stripes way better than the Mclane

You know… can’t say i disagree. Mclane stripes well but can’t really top a reel mower that has front roller and rear drum. I appreciate the comment and support!!! 👍🏻

As a mail man I see so many weeds in lawns. One lawn was absolutely covered in spurge! 😂 as for the REVOLUTION, ima go ahead and say it will be in your arsenal! $500 is a good chunk of money to save. I want one but at 3500 sf I just can't justify the purchase.

Thank you for the comment and support!!! The revolutions 26 looks like an awesome mower. I think when it goes on sale it will be about 2200-2300 on presale. That makes it even more tempting. Being you say it maybe overkill maybe the 20 rolux is a better option for you as they are around 1400. In either event only time will tell and we will see how well the revolution does when it comes to market

Thanks. Wonder how difficult it would be to get my 25"Maclane to cut lower than .75 inch (?). Think I have to do something with the rear drive wheel.

Truthfully, i wouldn’t try to lower the rear wheels. I have heard they can be very difficult to adjust properly and can cause an uneven cut. Although it would cost money, if you covert your front roller to a reel rollers front roller it users a smaller diameter front roller which will then allow the Mclane 25 to cut a 1/2inch on its lowest settting. Hope this helps. I appreciate the comment and the support 👍🏻

@dwaynesworldlawn Dwayne ... thanks. Kind of remember Doc or someone saying that in a RUclips video ... maybe reel rollers guys. Going to check into it. THANKS!

I have Tall Fescue in the front yard ( IE) and Tif Tuf in the back, I have a John Deere 14 PZ rotary lawnmower, it is the 50 Anniversary model, aluminum deck, old school true John Deere.
I purchase a Scotts 18 Pro, I have a 200 sq ft Tif Tuf lawn and it is difficult to use the mower, the edges come to fast so I guess I am on the hunt for a better lawn mower for a small yard, any ideas?

I think a powered reel mower for the yard. You could go with a manual Scott’s as well just to see if you like the results. Power reel mower will definitely be an upgrade from that. Look on offer up or Facebook market place as a used mower can be affordable test without breaking the bank. Cal trimmer or Mclane should be good options or a trucut which will cost more even on the 2nd hand market. 20inch model should be good
