Natasha, great video....I've seen Walter many times at little venues in NJ and he was always something special. Good to see him here with Eric who is always fantastic he seems to be having alot of fun. I can't say enough about your videos, you really showcase what the blues is all about currently with all the incredible players you follow. The quality is fantastic and you really bring the heart of it to the forefront. The players you seem to focus on are in my opinion the core of today's blues players. It's a shame that you were not around 20 years ago when players like Rhett Tyler , Ronnie Earl, Poppa Chubby, or Michael Hills Blues Mob were in there prime....they would have loved the exposure you and You Tube could have given them. Raw is the perfect word to describe Walter Trout. Saw him in some gymnasium in a little farm town in Alaska about 15 years ago. No idea who he was but I sure am glad I went, what a powerful show! Still puzzled how he ended up there but happy he did!

Listen carefully to the difference in presence in each of their tones. Not only is Eric's guitar louder, it is also more present, more sharp. Listen carefully, Eric's guitar sounds much closer, and Walter's sounds not only more quiet than Eric, but also further away. This was probably shot with a smartphone right in front of Eric's amp. So, not the sound guy's fault. Just an effect of proximity. Sorry, I'm a sound guy, and we always get blamed for shit like this. It's a thankless job!😂 But your welcome anyway!
