Ok looking to get a set of wheels need the most rubber on the road sticky for drag racing possibly 16 or 17 . What kind of tires would be good for that. No rubbing would be ideal as it is a daily.

You couldn't drive THAT in Canada without trashing your bumper ANYWHERE in the country. Roads with potholes everywhere, big enough to drop your tire past the rim, and leave your ground effects flapping in the breeze before flying off and being run over by the next guy commin down the road.

4:16 I have these exact wheel specs that I got off the website Nd mines are touching my coilover even after I put 5mm spacers on would probably need a bigger spacer ? Is anybody else running these wheels ? Thanks
Hi, that’s my car - what coilovers are you running? If you have Racelands unfortunately this setup would not work due to the design of the coilover. I am also running between 1.5-2 degrees of negative camber in the front to help with the fitment.

I run a 245/45/17x9 +30 1” spacers on my SRT4 lol
What is your ride height,stock or if dropped by how much,coil overs or struts...thanks
@@dannylong333 fenders are cut. And rear cut and welded as well. It looks almost stock but it’s definitely at least 1 1/2-2” lower
Can larger wheels fit a base model 04 Dodge Neon? Not crazy big but bigger than the ugly stock steel 14 in wheels?
I've been researching the same subject also. So far I've found that with stock standard Neon struts, you can't fit anything larger than a 16" wheel without the tire hitting the lower spring perches. If you want to use a 17" wheel you need to go with srt4 struts as the spring perches are higher and clear the tires for that size.

Closest thing we have right now is the MK4 Jetta, but it's on the to do list!
The srt4 fitment also applies to the base Neons, they're pretty much the same car spacing wise until you get into lowering and such.
No there not the same, struts on the base neon different and wont accept the same wheels and offset.
