This man is being praised for what he did to Sovana and he should have been put in jail. He goes there to visit her as if he didn’t play a huge role in her ability to live in her natural habitat to begin with. Not only that, he abandoned her to a life she knew nothing about, a life that she could have been killed as an outsider.
Who took Sovana? What happened? Miss her terribly. I loved Torres also.
Wowwwww.. I decided to search for her after having had not watch any of the videos coming from sovana troop or ANY MONKEYS AT ALL for a little over a year
All I can find is videos of Libby... and the OGs like rose and bonita..
But I don't see hardly any of the sovana troop...WHAT HAPPENED TO SOVANA???
Two months ago - and now, she is missing. Gone forever, like so many others. RIP Savana.

@user-ym5kh7bb3f no. Its was reported that she bite a tourist. So the Temple banned her, then somebody took her off in a rickshaw. Never to be seen again. I to hope Mr Lin has her safe. But i wish we could see her, just one more time. Even if its in a false location. Miss Savana RiP 🙏.

Disgusting sovanna. She is giving up her (sex position) to her former owner and openly asking him to take her from behind. She is rightfully removed by animal officials from the place and kept in a solidary confinement (steel cage) as her behaviour was getting out of control.

Macaques.. of all shapes and sizes and even genders. All pose like that when they are trying to let the other monkey they are making contact with that they are harmless...and have no malicious intentions.

The TAIL is actually the sign that female macaques give males that they want to mate. Ya they'll still turn their back to the male...but they'll lift their tail.. and also.. you can tell when female macaques are in heat cuz their butts look like MUSHROOMS.
sovana was 100% being playful...but WHO KNOWS WTF MR. LINs intentions were/are lol.. kind of a strange character. Been watching him for years since he would come daily and nurse sovana when she was an infant still.
It was endearing at first but to still be doing it 3 years later is kinda weird.

When these two met almost 3 years ago...she was probably no bigger than his shoe. Probably weighed 15 pounds now look at her It's almost as if sovana is doing all those tricks... swinging from the branch and all that to show LIN how much shes grown now.. Its also hilarious and i can tell lin gets a kick out of seeing her do her signature move when she would get excited and grab her back and turn around while she stands up on her two feet

I began watching their videos in the very beginning when I began to learn more about the monkey videos on RUclips!!!!
Well, I saw some videos of monkeys in diapers in homes ...... watched them for maybe 2 days until I came across these 2! When he began to release her into the temples is actually where I learned about the other temples/ wild monkey troops / and etc.
Then, I was watching the monkey videos daily!!!! I never even cared about them or cared to learn anything about them until I came across these 2!!!!

She never lived in a home with Lin. She lived in Angkor in a shelter with him. Before that she lived in a home with people who mistreated her. Grabbing her back is not stress. Really enjoyed seeing Savanna with her dad. She belongs to the forest now thanks to him releasing her and she still remembers him and enjoys his visits. Wonderful!

@@themilkman271 WOWWWW.. so after all that adoration ALL THE RUclipsRS had for her... She finally outgrew her britches huh???.....Idk what I was on back then.... but In 2020 I had this weird thing where I was constantly watching these monkey videos ..I mean it was literally an all day thing, especially with the pandemic.
So I saw the very first video where she was still only like maybe several MONTHS and form dropped off with BONITA I think? And that group... And of course all the babies were constantly surrounding her .. sniffing her being curious as they always are... And she was petrified!!!! of every single monkey she came in contact with..I mean I know it's normal for any stray to try and assimilate into an already established group..but it was DEFINITELY different with her.... she was like , 24/7 neurotic.... and scared of her own shadow....she could never be calm.. And she was unique in that she was OVERLY NERVOUS AND OVERWHELMED all the time. That went on for almost two years until she grew up a little bit. She was only receptive to humans and a small handful of other monkeys she i guess decided were ok.
It was very interesting to watch. But then after that she garnered a legit fanbase and the V.O.s knew it .... so of course they PRETTY much spoiled her to keep their views high...than all her neuroticism mixes with being spoiled turned her into one of the BIGGEST brat monkeys id ever seen.
She was def an interesting study in the social dynamics of pig tailed macaques. So to know she's finally gotten herself in enough trouble to be essentially rounded up the guards... Is kinda crazy. There was a small amount of time there in say 2021 to the end of 2022 where she had her own troop...made up of all the strays and ex pets that ppl didn't want anymore and they'd drop them off with her...and she would form bonds with them as they were mostly more scared and nervous than she was at that point.. cuz she had already spent some time in the park and was alot more settled in..and she even had some of the elders from other troops that they had BEFRIENDED that would come around and kinda help and teach them how to ... well... be monkey's...cuz they had absolutely NO STRUCTURE OR ORDER being that there were no actual parents or elders around to teach them ANYTHING.
I'm actually kinda sad...that era is finally over. I know some of the strays that got accepted in the sovana troop actually had kids of their own and I wonder what happened to them now.... but one thing I always thought was ...SHE WASN'T GOING TO KNOW HOW TO BE A MOTHER...EVER.
No matter what age ...cus she wasn't patient or selfless enough to learn from any of the elders on how to master the etiquette of being a macaque. So her just essentially being a loose cannon way into early adulthood like at like 4. I just couldn't imagine her ever knowing how to take care of her own baby.
Hopefully she never gives birth cuz I don't think she'll ever be able to care for another monkey except herself....if I'm being honest.
