She tried drowning him but he kept surfacing. At one point in the long video that I watched she had him submerged for a very, very long time. I really did not think he was going to be able to keep his breath concerned and they started throwing stuff at Libby to make her let go of him. It is a very long video where she abuses him for an extended period of time. On this day, Leo certainly got the beats. She got him good. it started off on the gravel where she dragged him back-and-forth back-and-forth back-and-forth about 40 times and then she threw him in the water swimming lesson never forget! Then she dragged him around the gravel again. But what was surprising was that each and every time he was released, he would run back to her. Poor thing.

Leo is a teenager. She is weaning him. The more he throws a fit and tantrums he goes swimming. These animal can stay naturally under water for 30 seconds
That had NOTHING to do with weaning. Primates don't lip-smack while weaning, that was because it was provoked by the camera men, hence them cutting to it rather than showing the start when they antagonise her with whooping noises. Screaming in pain is not "having a tantrum". He wasn't even trying to get milk despite being starved because the mother is abnormal from being stalked. When weaned the second they try to move away they are left alone by the weaning mother because that's what she is asking for. Leo was trying to run away half the time you utter moron.
Leo is not a teenager yet, he's not even one year old , he's about 9-10 months old. He'll be a yearling from the time he's one to two years old

The beauty here is how this species innately teaches its young to swim. A mother teaches her younglings, and the younglings eventually learn it.
