This truck is really coming along. Countersunk frame bolts is a notch that not many show trucks even achieve. Gonna be beautiful when you get it the way you want it.
I watched y'all with Bryan and Tommy when y'all first started working on the truck and now I see what u said when u said u wasn't done with the truck when u had it painted u said that u was going to do more work to the truck when u get it home and I see now what u mint and now I can watch u finish the truck and make it that much more nicer I've been trying to find y'all on RUclips and now I subscribed to y'all now and watch u finish the truck be safe and always be careful doing what u do
Porter greetings!🇺🇸 Here kitty, kitty, let me paint you purple! 😳 Now this is quite interesting!🤩 I love trucks that have some different mods to them and this is one that I’ve never thought of!🤩 Really looking forward to seeing more of your stuff! You have a very nice size shop to work in & that’s half of the battle right there. Thanks for sharing! 🥰😎✌️
You were a topic of a conversation today, the subject was , people who share their knowledge and talents, your good friend Evan was mentioned also , skilled and not afraid to share . The most humble people are this way. Thank you .
Hey, you kids are doing very well in front of a camera catching the entendres or words that could make a lady blush if taken wrong. I see a future in this for you... just be your own selves, learn to enjoy how easy this youtube business is. A thirty minute video takes what... three or more hr's right now but that falls into place as well. Bottom line, everyone asks themself, is it worth it? I see that you are just starting but your content so far is what a lot of younger drivers are looking for an then the dreamers like myself who did drive over forty years ago an now can't still likes to look at new iron and pretty ladies. I will share these as I catch them and after a while, you just make it an life is better!
Thank you very much! It's definitely not something that's easy for us. I'm glad I can share my knowledge with the world. Looking forward to making videos for a while!
Chad and Lisa are dam good people I'm glad I'm getting to know more! Chad was a huge help answering my questions for my new 389 purchase while explaining my goals i wouldlike to do with my truck. 2 top notch people I'm glad to call friends! See you both Chad and Lisa in Louisville.
Super impressed with your videos and Barry's building skills . You didn't show your frame rail prep after you smoothed out the welds . Hopefully you sprayed some hi build primer and block sanded it after so you have a lazer straight surface . Always looking forward to your next video keep up the good work !
@@berrytruckn do you have any footage on the modifications you had to do to accomplish the hidden def tank... I wanna do this to my new truck if it ever arrives and thank you in advance keep up the good work
Hi! Wow, clean work. Question on hiding the frame bolts... Will that hold up over time on a working truck? Or will frame flex have cracks showing up in the old holes? I see huckbolts coming loose on xmembers and suspension hangers, reason I asked... Just found your channel. I like it!
We use the same holes the factory bolts were in, after countersinking them we weld them in. Therefore if done correctly, they should last forever. Good question!
Hay just a tip, when you add the time lapse music, try editing the volume down a few notches for the music, it came blaring over my headphones soon as the time lapse started an scared me plus kind hurt, but great work on the build an Lisa great job learning to edit. We see improvement with every new video! Great job on the video and the build!!!
Appreciate the content an allowing us to fallow along with the build! Have see some of your past trucks an just so stoked to be able to actually watch the build, being able to see what all you do to these trucks vs seeing finished trucks an trying to spot all the amazing little tricks an set ups,. Thanks again
Also by dad is a cancer survivor, won his battle in 2019 and praying it's the last battle he has to fight like that. So that truck theme is something I respect an can stand for,. Not to mention purple is mine and my dad's favorite color!!!
Great work! What grade bolts are you using? I've searched around online and haven't had a lot of success finding high strength countersunk head bolts. Any suggestions?
Like the hidden bolts but how are they as far as everday road use and how are they as far as rail swaps. We are building movers and heavy haulers we have Autocar and Pacific winch trucks and I've been looking at doing a show work truck out of some of our parts Pacifics and I have thought about using plow or counter sunk bolts on all of the frame but in our field we flex and twist on our trucks and we do rail changes on our trucks every 3 years and just wondering if the counter sunk bolts would hold tight with every day use and especially with us that flex our trucks especially when using the winches pulling loads on trailers or pulling buildings or pulling our haul trailers up over rear frame roller. I know our trucks and what we do is completely different from over the road trucks but I see alot of things over the road truckers do to their trucks I'd like to try when I get around to building my working slash show truck, things that wouldn't normally seen done to a Pacific truck.
I'm sure an application as to you're line of work, they wouldn't be feasible. My truck has a bigger frame rail in it, but being an over the road truck I don't think I would have a problem. But, as always never say never. LOL
I let them put the stripe on the truck and do a few other things. I've always done my own work, but wanted them to do something to be part of it. Now I am finishing the truck here in my own shop. Great people!! I would definitely buy another truck from them!
Truck is looking awesome 😎 was wondering what size and make of the countersink bit and bolts were. Getting ready to shave some of the ugly huckbolts off of my frame.
I cannot fathom why you would have someone build a custom truck then totally disassemble it and start completely over. Did Semi Casual mess something up? I thought the truck looked awesome when they got through with it. Beautiful color.
Ok.... you and Bill have to be BROTHERS.... buy a new Pete tear it down to very little.... Question? Do you have any problem with countersunk bolt heads breaking at all? Thanks Jim
LOL. we're not related, but have been good friends for quite a few years now. We live a couple hours from each other. I haven't had any problems yet with the bolt heads breaking.

Amazing Job on the Build, I LOVE it........🤝🏾🇺🇸💪🏾
I’ll be there to help put it back together, can’t wait.
Just wondering when I can drop off my truck , and I want the family discount.
@@scottberry5266 nice try, LOL
I'm really digging the hat!!!!
That's an awesome job, what's the plan if you ever have to remove a bolt or two
The peterbilt crossmembers unbolt into three pieces, making the still easily removable.
AWESOME WORK....................
Give aways.....?????......like a purple pete??????😂😂👍🏻👍🏻.....great work 👍🏻👍🏻...... always wondered how the bolts were "shaved" on frame......thx
Haha thanks
Great video thank you!

Engine and transmission painted green would look real nice.
Agree, however it is gonna stay towards the work side therefore red haha
Nice job looks great 👍
Awesome video brother and great work . If you don’t mind me asking where did you get that drill it’s slick!?
Super clean
Why are there spacers between the tank brackets and the frame? Also what angle are the counter sink bolts and counter sink bit? Thanks for the video!
love the build.... are y'all gonna hide the def tank in the battery box?
no, it's actually hidden in the driver's side fuel tank.
@@berrytruckn do you have any footage on the modifications you had to do to accomplish the hidden def tank... I wanna do this to my new truck if it ever arrives and thank you in advance keep up the good work

I’m curious on what bit your using to countersink the holes?
what size of screw did you use or how are they requested and the other tool you used to make the cone what is its name
Where do you get the bolts from for the frame ? Thanks loving the videos
Fastenal or Imperial Supply should have them.
Semi Casual sent me here.
Dude love it

Where did you get the countersink bolts, what length, and what grade are they?
Thanks like the channel
I'm wondering the same thing.
Great work! What grade bolts are you using? I've searched around online and haven't had a lot of success finding high strength countersunk head bolts. Any suggestions?
Google grade 8 flat head socket cap and what ever size you want, that's what the are called..they are all over and not hard to come by.
Is it possible to get those cross members out yet? Since then counter sunk bolts are welded. Looks great
What color green is on that pete. I live that!!!! 😍😍
Great videos what size are the bolts?
5/8" diameter, 1.5" and 2" length
That other Pete is beautiful, too.
I'd like to see some spread axel stuff
And are you just countersinking the crossmember bolts?

You mentioned you weren't using the right tank that came on the truck, why? Also the tank brackets got moved, again why?
We’re could I find this type of bolts ?
did u not like how it came out after Fitzgerald did their work or had u planned on this after getting it from them?
I let them put the stripe on the truck and do a few other things. I've always done my own work, but wanted them to do something to be part of it. Now I am finishing the truck here in my own shop. Great people!! I would definitely buy another truck from them!
Truck is looking awesome 😎 was wondering what size and make of the countersink bit and bolts were. Getting ready to shave some of the ugly huckbolts off of my frame.
I bought the countersink bit off of amazon. I believe it was 1.5" diameter. The bolts were from a local supplier. They were 1.5" and 2" in length.
@@berrytruckn thanks for the information good luck in wildwood
What size counter sink is thay
What do you do if you have to change out the crossmember
The crossmember still unbolts easily and comes out of the truck if needed.
I cannot fathom why you would have someone build a custom truck then totally disassemble it and start completely over. Did Semi Casual mess something up? I thought the truck looked awesome when they got through with it. Beautiful color.

Did you ever come up with a name for the truck
No name yet😅
