She did hardly write any songs with Nemophila. Only Monsters, Rollin Rollin, Enten and Night Flight. Most of the songs in Nemophila are written by their producer Kensuke Akiyama (there are only about 10 tracks that were written by one of the members and an other 5 or so that were co-written by a member with Akiyama). She did write a lot in Mary's Blood from when she was with the band, probably most out of all of them, but the others wrote music as well. I actually already felt like Nemophila was drifting away from what I liked about them the most (their harsher early sound), so this actually makes me more curious about their next album than if they had stayed with Akiyama. I do understand why people get worried about something like this, a lot of people don't like change in something they love, but all of the members are talented enough to do whatever they want. I might stop buying their albums if it's really a direction I don't enjoy, just like with any other band, but I don't see that happening. Also, I hope Haraguchi-san gets more freedom to write more songs, I typically love what she writes. Anyway, I wish them all the best with the new direction, hopefully it does well.
Its cool song but forgettable. Saki is a great guitarist but IMO while this sounds cool its nothing spectacular. Im not sure what direction she is heading in. I know she wants to be free and do her own thing solos and other projects. Hell if that is what makes her happy then I am happy for her. But as far as the song goes meh its good but nothing I will hold on too. The last song Germinans was better IMO.
What do you mean by forgettable ? Is it just that the song isn't catchy with some mainstream pop chorus and with a standard verse-chorus verse-chorus-bridge stucture ? Because in that case I'm pretty sure that's the point As for Saki's direction, she isn't any big departure from her usual self, she's been making solo guitar music for years now and involved in many side projects which included Nemophila and she is continuing on what she started
@@jonasw3945It is forgettable to me. Because to me it sounds like the same stuff she always puts out just like most solo guitarist do. While those albums and songs have some amazing guitar playing in them they all start to blend and nothing stands out. I have been listening to solos artist for 35 years. While I enjoy most of them and their songs they never stick to my memory like a song structured around a whole band with a singer. It has nothing to do with pop or mainstream which I do not even listen too. Been a metal and hard rock fan most my life. So you can take that pop assumption and throw it out the Fing door and if people do prefer that type of structure to a song and not just a solo focus then that is their opinion. who gives a shit!! Also you do not need to tell me anything about Saki. I've been following her for many years since she first got started and have friends in Japan that keep me up to date on just about anything I want to know. I know what she has done in the past and 3 years ago I told people she would not stay with Nemophila forever. Because I know Saki past.I knew she rather be out on her own eventually. My question about direction has to do with is this how she is going to proceed? Just as a solo and playing projects? If she is happy with that then I'm happy for her. Will she eventually form a new band or join another? Can she do great as a solo? Sure to a point but she can do even better with a band and get even more exposure. She was great with Nemophila but Hazuki is great too and while they had some amazing solos and playing together it not easy to give them time to really shine in the songs without having song after song where they trade off. they are both too good for that honestly. I have a feeling you are a Saki superfan. You seem not to like my opinion that it is forgettable. It is not an insult to Saki that is just my opinion on this type of music. I have followed her like many artist and bands over the years and enjoy them very much but does not mean I have to like everything or crazy love every bit of music they put out.
Why is everyone acting like this is the first time Saki made an instrumental song lol? I'm confused by the comments, she isn't going into a new direction or anything she is literally just doing what she has always done, Nemophila started as a side project for her, the only band I associate Saki with is Mary's blood, even projects like Amahiru feel more Saki than Nemophila lol

The electronic drum sound terrible and I just am not really a fan of this direction.
Because in that case I'm pretty sure that's the point
As for Saki's direction, she isn't any big departure from her usual self, she's been making solo guitar music for years now and involved in many side projects which included Nemophila and she is continuing on what she started
The Empress is the name of her guitar. ( KG-Fascinator Seven the Empress) from Killer guitars. Her signature model.
