I received mine about 2 weeks ago. I was going to return it because of the jerky tension. But like Maxpro states it breaks in and does get smoother with every use. Though there is still cable jumps from time to time. But now I see this machine as a portable functional trainer and I have a full blown garage gym already. Once you put it on the door the game changes and is elevated. Now I'm definitely getting the wall track. The maxpro ecosystem is so clean, looks aesthetically pleasing and and so convenient. The fact you can easily change your starting point is absolutely awesome. You cannot easily do that with bands nor a functional trainer. Yes this is expensive but competitors so is the X3 which has very little engineering that went into it and Ancore. This is reality for these type of products. Anything less is a cheap toy from Amazon or eBay. Though I still don't think any of those are worth the price and out of reach for so many
Awesome product, BUT.. 9 months ago the high end connect version of Maxpro was only $549 bucks... Then months later they increased the price to $849 ?? Why a $300 increase ??? Why milk your customers dry ? When I asked I was told that was an intro price, but you mean to tell me that the product after introduction is worth $300 more ??? Think before you buy.. And why only a 1 year warranty ? If it breaks you are out $849 bucks.. No Thanks
