Loaded 90% Silver Half Dollar Box - Another Amazing Hunt!

- This half dollar box came loaded with 90% Silver Half Dollars... I'm not sure if it was part of the same collection dump as the two boxes I opened the day before, BUT I have set a new record for 90% Silver ever scored from one hunt!
I decided to set up the camera and record every roll this hunt since it had an ender and started off so hot! Plus, I needed to save than 15 minutes... I hope you don't mind the video length and still share in my excitement as we found 90% SILVER, roll after roll after roll (well, at least for almost the first 20 rolls)!
How are you doing stacking silver? Are you finding 90% or 40% silver in your half dollar boxes? It seems that the Silver is starting to really slow down right now BUT we're almost to "Silver Season" which could start up as early as mid-late October and run through mid-late January... We'll see what happens soon enough!

I want to thank you because you actually made me go get a box yesterday which I haven't got one in years but because I watched you I ended up ordering one. It turned out to be a great Box also. I got 15 walking liberties 35 Franklins 11 64 Kennedys and about six 40 percenters the only thing I wish I did was gotten two boxes because they were stacked heavy on one side so I'm assuming either the Box before it or the box after it would have been as good if not better. It was only 15% of the roles we're producing 90% of the silver. Every single one of the good roles had four in them it was insane. I knew it was going to be a good box when I opened it and seen two Franklin's and a walking liberty Ender right off the bat one of the Enders that had the Franklin I turn it around and the other Ender was a Franklin too so I got real excited thinking it could have been the whole roll funny enough it was only the two Enders but the next role next to it had five of them in it.
I was inspired by you're videos,so I decided to go to my bank I got $200 worth. On my 8th roll to go through I scored the whole roll was 1964's couldn't believe it. I'm hooked now...

First off - sorry about the camera not focusing on the edges (I had it in AutoLock Focus... smh) so it's hard to see some of the shots. BUT...

Man, I'm happy that boxes like these are still around. I placed orders from 3 banks for a combined total of 20 penny boxes....I regret not ordering at least one box of half dollars yet the dilemma was, 1 box of half dollars or 20 boxes of pennies haha cheers

I still have not found a 90%. Found 15 40% so far in around 900 dollars worth of halves from mixed banks. I am going Monday to try my luck at finding some halves.

NO - I usually use them for my live streams.
I get a box of half dollars every year when I get my taxes back. The best I've ever done was 3 64s in a whole box. Still love to hunt tho!

Rob which bank do you get your coins from? I got 2 different hauls and went through 66 rolls of 1/2 dollars and not a single silver. I asked me bank and they said the Loomis does go through their coins pulling silver. I also got a few rolls from brinks (different bank) and will try again with them since it was only 6 rolls. If you dont mind me asking what part of the country do you live in? I live in the midwest (Missouri) and it is almost impossible to get 1 silver coin in several boxes. Have tried wal-mart coinstar maching and have been told they do not have keys for the machine to pull out coins. Any helpful hints into this would be fantastic..love watching your videos.

Rob, did you work in operations at a bank? The reason I ask is because you seem to know every nuance of this world of coin rolls. I have worked at 2 BOAs and a local bank, and I have encountered many inconsistencies in all coin stocking, rolling, and shipping and receiving.

So I have never done this before. Today I went to my bank and ordered a box they said they have to order it Thursday and it should be in Tuesday I can come Tuesday afternoon or wednesday morning. They are going to give me a call when it comes in. They said they've never had to do this before and they looked pretty excited. Haha. I just told them that I save them for the kids. I collect older style Bill's and coins I come across for the kids. I never really knew alot about it. Just whenever I come across stuff or their mother sees stuff at work being a manager at a store she brings it home. Do u think it's a good sign if the bank never heard of people doing this or never had to do it before? I was talking to the bank manager about.
