Brian: Your air craft is just stunning! This bird has Always been a favorite along with the Reliant. This craft are getting harder and harder to maintain with scarcity of parts, Had two purchased but they both failed pre-buy miserably! That was years ago. Would have been a life changer I'm sure. Best of luck to you!
Dear 63, Thanks for your kind words but the airplane is Kent Fosters - the movie is mine. This segment you saw is a music video part of one of my 3 documentaries called "That They Might Fly Again" on the subject of Classic/Vintage airplanes. Go to the link below to see Kent's interview regarding the Fairchild. He and his plane are in Movie #3. You can also see the other docs from this jump off page: www.fitzvideo.com/Pages/Launch_ThatThey.htm Blue Skies & Tailwinds!™ Brian FitzGerald - The Sky Surfer
@@BrianFitzGerald-TheSkySurfer Thank you for the information. We have a local pilot by the name of Addison Pemberton. Refurbishes significant planes himself. Has several that are amazing. I've flown with him many times and flown several of his planes. They take a BIG check book! It's NOT just Bernoulli's law that keeps them in the air!
Dear Andrew, Thanks! I hope you get a chance to watch the rest of the series. This segment is part of my 3rd "That They" movie on Classic/Antique Airplanes. I am uploading the next segment of Part 3 in the next few days. More about "That They" here: fitzvideo.com/Pages/Launch_ThatThey.htm Blue Skies & Tailwinds!™ Brian FitzGerald - The Sky Surfer
Thanks, Marino! In case you don't know, this is part of a larger series on Classic/Vintage Aircraft. The best way to check out my movies is by starting at my website and then jumping over to RUclips. OK. What's the story about the derelict at the end of the runway? Safety reminder?
When I asked Kent, he was not sure. So, that is a mystery at this time...
