You are welcome, Andrew. I think it turned out pretty good. The next segment I post will be of him flying it and talking about aviation in general. I have more Classic/Vintage planes like this on my RUclips Channel (ruclips.net/user/BrianFitzGerald-TheSkySurfer). The Series is called "That They Might Fly Again".
Hi Brian, I have a question…I really enjoyed the videos of Kent Foster’s Fairchild, especially when I am just starting in on a full restoration of a ‘34 Fairchild C8C. It is very similar to Kent’s, and throughout the videos, I have made notes of things I wouldn’t mind asking Kent in terms of the Warner, and construction details. Is there any way you could share some contact info re: Kent, so I might be able to get in touch. Cheers…..Geoff Pritchard
Thank you so much for your video. You mention the two position flap settings. Do you know what the settings are? Maybe 20 and 40 degrees? I'm building an RC model and would like to use the settings of the original aircraft.
Nice video Brian. We've been restoring a 1934 C8-C Dow here in the Orlando area. We pretty much had to start from scratch. We are getting close. It also has a 145 Warner. What's a good way to send you some images? Thanks. Rick
Thanks, Richard! I don't know if you were aware that this is just part of a three-part series on Vintage Aircraft. You can go here to see the entire Kent Foster interview and others as well: www.fitzvideo.com/Pages/Launch_ThatThey.htm Sending pictures presents a dilemma. I don't post my email address here because when I did that in the past I got FLOODED with spam. If you want to post your email address, I will contact you by email, though. You did a great job showing us around the Fairchild
Thank you for sharing this video. What a beautiful plane!

Sure but I am not going to post his data on the web. Give me a call and I'll help you out.

Sorry. I just produced the movie. You'll have to track Kent down to ask him yourself.
